This was one of our last hotels that we stayed at in Peru. It was probably the best one. Although Puno is cold in the winter when we visited, the rooms were fairly warm as we could turn on the wall heater. The water pressure was as strong as can possibly be, and there was plenty of hot water. The beds were fairly comfortable. The carpet was a bit dingy, however. The breakfast buffet was decent. They had an assortment of fresh fruits and juices. Bread was delicious.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 days back in February. Not only the hotel is right next to the Plaza de Armas, but also very close to everything. Pharmacy, Restaurants, you can find pretty much everything right next to the hotel.
Our room was located in the second floor... Small room but big enough for couples. Didn't have any problems with the shower.
Elevator is available and highly recommended because you get tired very easily with the altitude.
Breakfast is really good, a little bit of everything.... coca tea was also available.
No complains at all, even if the price seems a little higher compare to other hotels, I think is worth it given the accommodations, plus the location is a no brainer.

We checked in to the hotel and found the room clean and comfortable. Plenty of electrical outlets handy to charge our devices. The bed was very good and we had no problems with sleeping. It was very close to the shops and restaurants. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was served on the top floor with a view of the lake. It was a good buffet selection. Everything was good and it was a reasonable selection. We had a good visit there and would consider staying there again.

I chose the Hotel Hacienda Puno Centro Historico based on the location in Puno and the price and it was a great little place to stay for three nights.
The location is good with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and a short walk to the main square.
The room was fine with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom and the breakfast was ok too.
All the staff were really friendly and helpful and given the location and price the hotel made for a good base.

Hotel just a few meters from Puno's Plaza de Armas. From this square to Pino Park there is a busy pedestrian street with restaurants. The windows are double glazed, which we did not find in any of the other 4 hotels of our trip. Located on a street directly overlooking the port of Lake Titicaca.
We travelled 3 people so we were given a room with 2 large beds and 1 large. Great for us. Spacious and gel/shampoo bathroom with wall dispenser. Very practical.
Breakfast is buffet style, with variety of products and good quality. He's got coke and cuff mate for altitude sickness. Necessary if it is your entry point to Peru due to its altitude above sea level (3,800m). Very attentive reception staff.

Perfect location, down the street from the square with lots of restaurants. Very clean, beds perfect and quiet. Breakfast was good. Staff brought oxygen to our room at the time we asked them (6:05 AM). I was looking for a couple of glasses of ice and the restaurant wasn't open yet. 20 minutes later there was a knock at our door and ice was delivered without our asking for delivery. This hotel took customer service to the next level.

Rooms are large, asis the bathroom. But don't get excited with the bath, there is no plug so you can only have a shower. Breakfast is quite ok: juices, cold cuts, tasty bread, guacamole, etc. Staff is kind. There is a garage to park your vehicle if needed. Didn't try the restaurant though. It ois just one block from the Plaza de Armas and the pedestrian street with lots of restaurants. Wifi ok.
