This hostel would be real value for money if you arranged and paid for it yourself. It is an excellent decent budget accommodation for the price you pay. Clean and tidy en-suite rooms with standalone electric radiators to keep you warm. Good strong shower with hot water. Clean towels and linens. Rustic decoration. This hostel was provided as part of... More

In my opinion this is a small hotel. It is nicely decorated. I would say the decor is colorful and interesting. It shows here to be a hostel, but there are only two beds per room. The rooms have a heater and are clean as well as the entire establishment, The restaurant is on the 4th floor. Very tasty food... More

What a dreadful place, so old and shabby, tiny room, miniscule bathroom that was really grotty, legs squashed against the wall when you sat on the loo, no hot water, a dodgy heater with a cord too short to reach the power point, just awful!! Can't believe GAdventures use this place!!

G adventures have stuck us here for 2 miserable nights. This hotel is falling apart and clearly run down. Plugs in most rooms don't work or only half do. I'm sharing with a fellow traveler who G Adventures put me with in the tiniest room! There's no space for out bags, it's freezing and the water is lukewarm if you're... More

I had a great stay at Pukara. The beds were firm, good pillows, hot showers, nice and attentive staff and great breakfast (scrambled eggs, fresh juice, yogurt plus the usual bread, jam and tea). The location is also great just off of lima street where all the cafés, restaurants and tour agencies are. I ended up extending my stay a... More

Value was good, especially with the location. Friendly staff who advised that the bathrooms were a little small in size but still functional just takes a little more planning. Starting to get a little tired and some maintenance is warranted but still a good option for a short few days stay. Staff are happy to arrange transfers and day trips

Arrived with a group and after looking at the available rooms 2 of our party ( of 14) left immediately to find other accommodation. The rest of us were too tired to find alternatives but will not be staying for the remainder of our booking. Some of the rooms allocated were barely big enough to unpack anything. Everywhere was very... More

Pluses: free WiFi reaches all of the rooms, space heaters are provided in every room, choice of fried or scrambled eggs. Minuses: no elevator and many flights of stairs, iffy hot water, nightclub nearby audible all night, only fruit at breakfast was sliced bananas.

This hotel was plain awful. It wasn't cleaned properly, there were stains on the sheets and on the wall. The carpet and wall painting when coming off and to top it off there was mould in the shower. The pictures on this page do not represent the rooms or standard. lf you choose this hotel you have to know what... More
