I enjoyed a great 2 full day/2 night Amazon tour with this company. After checking in at their office in Puerto Maldonado you take a 45-50 minute boat to their lodge. There are cabins with showers, flush toilets and a sink. The pool and dining area are centrally located and you can enjoy drinks and snacks while hanging inside and outside of this area. I had no problems with electricity or wifi. In fact, the wifi reached my cabin (no. 4) so I didn't need to be near the dining area to get on. Meals were filling and varied (chicken with rice and beans, grilled paiche, chicken in a curry sauce with rice, fried rice, pancakes and fruits). Water from a huge 5 gallon bottle was available 24 hrs.
The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We had a forest hike during the day and night, a visit to Monkey Island, a night boat ride to look for caimans and capybaras. an early morning boat ride to Tambopata NR and a 3 km hike to reach Lake Sandoval where we saw a river turtle, black caimans, capuchin monkeys, blue/yellow and red/green macaws, parrots, cormorants, egrets, and several types of herons, ducks, butterflies and moths. The best part was seeing a family of giant river otters feeding and playing. On the last morning was a walk on the 6 month old suspension bridge for a canopy walk. You can be dropped in town or at the airport after the boat ride back.

A great tour. Got to see lots of wildlife on the different activities. The food was so good! Three courses and very tasty. Free coffee and tea available. Rooms were nice and clean. The facilities are great also. Would definitely recommend. Fernando was a fantastic guide!

Unfortunately, it's hard for me to rate my stay in Monte Amazonico. I don't know what happened to the pool, whether it was dirt or chemicals, but the water in the pool dyed my and my boyfriend's bathing suit. To make matters worse, the pool water also dyed my blonde hair green! I don't have dyed hair, I'm a natural blonde, so I was particularly affected. swimsuits still have green stains after washing, not to mention my green hair. A visit to the hairdresser and the cost of a bikini is half the price of the trip.

Awful experience. I went to this supossed "lodge" with my GF in december 2022. The experience was terrible, it seems more like a shelter than a lodge. The accomodation was made of cheap and old wood, the food was no regional food as it is advertised, there is no bar, only one poor boy in charge of taking care of guests. THE POOL WAS THE WORST, it destroid my swinwear and my GF's hair and bikini. Besides, the guides were not carismactic or even polite many times. We rented the place for 3 days and 2 nights, but they kick us out at 7 am of the third day.

Our recent Amazon rainforest adventure was incredible, and a huge part of that was thanks to our fantastic tour guide, Fernando. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the rainforest ecosystem, its plants and animals, and the indigenous cultures of the region. He shared his passion and expertise in a way that was both engaging and informative.
Fernando was also attentive to our needs and made sure we had a safe and enjoyable experience throughout the entire tour. He was personable, friendly, and always willing to answer our questions. We can't recommend Fernando highly enough!
Highly Recommend!
I wish the place had Air Conditioning or fans though.

We booked a 3 day/2 night stay at Monte Amazonico Lodge. We thoroughly enjoyed the activities with our guide Luis. He was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot from him about the jungle and it’s animals. So I would recommend this lodge just for the activities. The lodge rooms were very basic and not particularly clean, but were ok for 2 nights. We also found it a bit difficult to work out what was going on in terms of when activities would be taking place and what time things were running. Perhaps providing a timetable or programme for guests and what they should take/wear would be helpful. The food was great though and you never went hungry. Overall we enjoyed our stay but there is room for improvement!

We spent 4 days and three nights at the lodge. During the whole time, we were looked after and had resources there for us. We had the best time with our guide Fernando. Very experienced and thoughtful guide. He had a lot of information about both wildlife and plants/fruits. He mafe us taste/touch/see anything we wanted during our tours. His patience and dedication was showing throughout the whole trip: he caught tarantulas, caimans and spotted an incredible variety of species during our stay.
Thank you Fernando, you're a legend.

We had a tough time choosing how to get into the Peruvian Amazon with limited info available online but we would absolutely recommend Monte Amazonico Lodge! They arranged everything from complete transfers at each end of our trip, to trips out and food/ accommodation (including catering to vegetarians).
Our guide Luis was fantastic at helping us make the most of our trip and somehow spotting every animal out there, day or night, big or small!
The lodge itself really surprised us with how comfortable and spacious it was (there's even wifi in the communal area) and the mosquito nets were effective (and necessary!). The 3 night/4 day package was a really good mix of acitivies, nature, and relaxation.

We stayed at this property as part of a tour we booked with an agency they work with. The food was great and the staff in the restaurant were very helpful. The lodge we stayed in was really, really dirty (I know it's in the rain forest, but dirty has nothing to do with nature), the screen in the room had several holes and mosquitoes were getting in, and it also had several openings in the wood where it entered wanted . There were huge spiders inside the mosquito net and I took them out myself. In the bathroom, the sink was clogged and was not clean at all. YES, it is in nature. Clean it though. the lodge next to us was cleaned by two young men who had very loud music during lunch 15:00 and we were trying to relax after eating because we had other activities in the afternoon. Fortunately, there was organization from the office and nothing went wrong in our program. It would also be good to burn special sticks or something similar for the insects, especially outside the lodges and outside the restaurant because the situation is unbearable. Even though it was a rainy season, the temperature was over 35 degrees and I won't dwell on the fact that you couldn't cool off with anything (only a dirty swimming pool) in the room there was a usb port to charge but no fan or anything. And there was no WiFi anywhere, not even in the restaurant. I have no problem with not having the Internet, but at least don't advertise that you have it. As for the excuse with electricity, I know very well from solar energy. Could the lodge support quite a few things rather than a small fan. You must deal with the place because I saw what money you are asking for on booking.com. It's funny. Jungle YES. Nature YES. But the lodge needs a lot of things.

Bonjour David,
En ce qui concerne votre question : le kayak s'effectue dans les eaux calmes, si vous voulez faire cette activité pendant des périodes prolongées, il est également possible et il n'y a pas de frais.
Merci à bientôt
