this place is unbelievably beautiful. First, the location and grounds are sublime. The staff is knowledgeable and hardworking and go out of their way to make sure your visit is outstanding. The individual lodges are simple but clean. I loved my room. Each morning the sounds of the jungle woke me up, which was amazing. Our guide, Victor, had a... More

Our guide, Alex, was the best. The jungle trips were interesting and informative. The food was very good. The room got a little hot (and humid) when the electricity/fan went off at 11 PM. We were a little confused about where and when to meet for our jungle trips. I think they are more used to catering to tour groups... More

We were met at the airport and had a short tour around Puerto Maldonado town and market. we then went to the offices and re-packaged our rucksacks with what we needed for the next few days, our large luggage was left at the lock up and we transferred to the boat. The eco lodge is about an hour and 40... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our tour through Peru. The lodge is overall quite nice. Rooms are big and reasonably clean, the grounds and well manicured and there is a pool which might be a bit cold and dirty for some. As part of the lodging you get all meals included and overall food was good,... More

I have given the lodge 4 stars because we genuinely had a fantastic time. The jungle tours were amazing, and although we didn't get to see any big animals, it is after all the jungle and animals don't appear on cue, it still did not disappoint. The lodge itself is beautiful, the chalets are spacious and have an authentic feel.... More

Victor picked us up from the airport with a huge smile and in seconds we knew we are in good hands. The next 4 days were UNBELIEVABLE AND UNFORGETTABLE ! The accommodations are clean, roomy and much more than we expected. No hot water, but it's understandable ... The food is VERY good and the pool + game room are... More

I went to this lodge with a Group of Australian exchange students from uni in Peru and I think I can speak for everyone when I say it was amazing!! During our stay the lodge was doing renovations, however, this didn't affect us at all fortunately! The outside hammocks are a perfect spot for a Pisco sour and siesta and... More

This place was good, but some things bothered me, so I will list the pros and cons. Pros: Good food; Lots of opportunities to go on jungle activities; Big swimming pool; Lots of birds and lizards; and Friendly staff that speak many languages. Cons: The lodge is showing its age; Just a little bit too expensive; The bar was only... More

My wife and my brother and his wife stayed at the lodge for 4 days/3 nights at the end of dry season in September. Our flight was a little late but a guide named Walter picked us up from the airport and took us to the river in an open air bus for a 1.25 hour boat ride downriver to... More

Here you will find the description of what happened in the Eco Amazonia Lodge. When we arrived at the airport of Puerto Maldonado on the 4th of July, with several hours of delay cause to the bad weather conditions, we had to wait half an hour more for a group of people still to arrive with a following flight. Then... More
