Chiclayo does not offer any luxury hotel and decent hotels are very rare. The Wyndham is probably one of the better options. Located in the heart of the city center, within walking distance from the main square. Modern building, rooms are simple, modern. Breakfast is ok. Service is limited but ok. The hotel is like Ibis, Holiday Inn or similar chain hotels - ok for one night for a no frills stay, and as mentioned there are not that many options here so you might consider this hotel.

A great place to stay, the bar is really nice and the restaurant is super. The breakfast buffet delicious. The hotel is close to everywhere. All workers are very nice. The pool is big enough and the Internet is fast.

I booked this hotel via an OTA (Online Travel Agency) rather than my Wyndham account. I was in there to explore the Lambayeque region and Chiclayo was the base. The hotel is close to the Airport and the street has quite a few hotels and many banks which is convenient. The room rate included free breakfast in their restaurant, The breakfast was similar to what I found in airport Marriott Courtyards and Best Westerns Stateside - Juices, toast, yoghurt, cereal and eggs made to one's taste. The room was spacious and bed quite comfortable. The bathroom was bigger than most but complimentary toiletries wanting. The window opened into the side street and rather quiet. There is a pool on the rooftop, which is more like a super large water tank. Attached to the hotel is a casino ? Not the kind one sees in Vegas or Atlantic City etc. Just slot machines I presume. The reception desk staff were very polite and courteous. So were the staff at the breakfast room. The Wifi was adequate for normal light online transaction, but inadequate for prolonged zoom-conference/meetings. Also lacking was sufficient number of outlets, specially next to the bed. In this age one travels with multiple devices and those need to be charged :) By using an OTA to book, I got no points or credit on my Wyndham account - What a bummer and poor strategy. It all worked out nicelt for us even though many archaeological sites were closed due to the virus scare. Andres was a particularly bright spot serving us breakfast. We had no problems with the hotel and greatly appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. The upstairs pool, while highly chlorinated, was a nice spot for us to relax for an hour or two at 1 AM.

Great location downtown with lots available within 3 blocks or less. Good rooms, and the staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. We had the breakfast included, and that helped start of the day perfectly.

We had an enjoyable staying in hotel with a generous breakfast! Free airport shuttle offered. The staff was more than helpful make you feel very comfortable! Its worth to mention specially estefania in restaurant and maria at the reception! There were professional, friendly and willing to help in english !

There was no tissues in the room no shower caps .The shower is over the bath and the toilet paper is about a meter away from the toilet The bed was as hard as a rock and so were the pillows The staff were excellent so attentive and friendly

Excellent staff - professional but warm and accommodating as well. Free airport shuttle & late checkout allowed, to match flight departure time. Restaurant staff particularly outstanding, especially Estefania Zambrano, who made our dining experiences wonderfully memorable. Room very clean & comfortable. Good central location but also quite near the airport. A fine view of the 'dance of the street traffic' from our room. Certainly would stay here again.
