The room we had did have a small patio with pretty good views. It was in need of a good update. The furnishings were old and dated and the bedspread was old and pilley. You had to pay for ice, water and even the coffee for the in room pot. The pool area was vey pretty but you could feel... More

We didn't stay at the resort, but ate at the restaurant 3 times. The manager, Everardo, helped us each time and he made our visit so pleasant! We felt welcomed and well served! The Valentine's dinner was Perfect. Our steak and fish were well prepared and presented. Wait staff was extremely attentive! The décor and ocean view added to our... More

I had a nice stay at Las Olas, although there were a few times where we had to wait quite a while to get service, the staff was very friendly. The pools were nice, the room was comfortable. The bathroom could use a bit of a cleanup but was overall comfortable. My favorite part was each room had an ocean... More

The title tells it all. If you'd like to spend the time for more details, read on... We had a day to spend after a few days in Boquete and wanted some beach/pool time before flying out of David that evening. So we only spent 6 hours there (thank goodness). We got a room which was only slightly more expensive... More

Dear Customer is a shame to see this kind of criticism on our property, if we have not cover your expectations, so sorry. it's important to let know that our hotel does not lie with the pictures that we present on our websites (you are correct we don’t have an Olympic pool), all of them are real and the reality... There are reviews that call this an old and tired resort. Not really. Its maybe an older hotel and being directly on the beach takes its toll - but its still solid. Definitely an above average hotel. Each room has its own air conditioner and ours struggled some during the day but was okay at night. Furnishings were fine -... More

We only paid $60.00 at booking.com. You are paying what you get. Rooms are not the best, they are clean. Food is really good, the pool bar is not that fancy, you get beers and some drinks. There are no more hotels in the área so if you want to go to La Barqueta, this is the place for you.... More

The hotel has a beautiful view of the ocean but is dated and expensive for what you get. They have a parrot in a tiny cage with no way of him seeing out. Very cruel and unnecessary. I would have rated the hotel higher had it not been for this, it really took away from the experience.

The new signs interspersed along the road from David certainly help the first time visitor find their way. The layout of the hotel/resort provides every room a view to the beach and ocean and you can hear the waves all night if you left the door open to your nice sized balcony or patio. The rooms remind me of a... More

We stayed here only for one night as we were driving from Bocas del Toro back to Panama City. The property is off the beaten path so it is very quiet and secluded. View from room is amazing (ocean) and facilities are well maintained. We were a bit tight with 4 adults in one room, but rooms were otherwise very... More

I can't wait to visit Las Olas again! The food was fantastic, very fresh, courtesy of the farm down the road! The pools were terrific, and the Pacific Ocean can't be beat. I enjoyed the tennis courts, the excellent staff, 2 dozen turtles, the hammocks, view of the beach from the room, and beautiful gardening everywhere. Proprietors Juan & Donna... More
