This is a lovely property with huge potential. It is in a fairly remote area but does not seem to attract the traffic it should. There are great staff who go out of their way to help. The food is good but not great. The hotel appears to be undergoing renovations but somehow the place falls short. Unfortunately it feels...

We recently stayed here with our grandson. Food is excellent but the staff desperately needs to be trained professionally. More staff is definitely a must. So few people doing so many tasks. Staff was very friendly and eager to please but had to ask for everything and sometimes they understood what you wanted but usually needed to communicate with Google...

It was 96 degrees when we were here in early Feb. Google maps very helpful to get here. No gas stations close, but 1 or 2 on way down from David. No restaurants along way either to speak of. We arrive early but they were still very accommodating and let us check in early. Lunch in hotel: cheeseburger and fries,...

My wife, daughter, and I left Bocas del Toro on a Tuesday morning by public bus and arrived at Las Olas that same evening. We had been camping on the beach, so arriving at the plush but affordable Las Olas Resort was a nice change. In the lovely dining room we met a friendly couple, who turned out to be...

The rooms are spacious and the beds are VERY comfortable. The pool is very cool and relaxing. This property is on the beach. The owners are actively involved and...

The area is very beautiful and the sand by the ocean is great for walking after you have walk on the hot sand to get to. The rooms are comfortable but the rooms do not have fridges or microwaves. Coffee pots are in the rooms but there is a charge for the coffee. Prices at the restaurant are very reasonable...

Las Olas is a thirty minute drive from bustling David, (Dah-Veed) Chiriqui Province Panama, and is a great getaway spot if what you need to do is just get away. There's not much else to do there but relax, walk the beach (Swimming not recommended, due to strong rip currents) and read a good book. The turtle pond offers the...

This is a nice resort, pool, and restaurant. The rooms are small but adequate. There are several things that would have made the trip better. First, when we checked in, they did not mention beach towels needed to be picked up at the front desk so we assumed they were in the room. Nope. No beach towels in the room....

The view and sound of the ocean is wonderful. The staff is accommodating and friendly. We had the first floor, which gives you a walk out patio, which I loved. The room was clean. The mattress was comfortable. Bathroom was clean and a decent size. Wifi was functional, but a tad spotty. room 506.
