Overall, this was a lovely hotel. Our room was nice, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was included and always good, and the staff were great. Our only complaint was that the shower didn't work. It was clearly broken and you could only get very hot or very cold water.

This hotel features attractive, comfortable cabins nestled into an acre or so of lovely and beautifully maintained gardens. There is a coffee shop/breakfast cafe in the center of the facility and an excellent restaurant next door. Just a short walk to town restaurants and shops,

Review collected in partnership with this hotel
This accommodation is in town but feels like you're up in the mountains, the best of both worlds. The rooms are extremely spacious and it was really nice to have both a kitchen as well as a deck. Close to everything yet somehow off the beaten path. The breakfast leaves

I think giving it 5 stars is pushing it but more like 4 1/2 because it is a simple place and could be better but I would stay again. My wife was very happy and that is saying a lot. If you are in Boquete when it is cool you are great but I could see you getting a little warm

I spent 3 weeks in Boquete taking spanish lessons and stayed at Isla Verde hotel. Habla Ya spanish school arranged a very good rate for me. My room was very clean and the staff very helpful. The bed was good and I even had hot water almost every day which was better than most of

Hello, how is the wifi service, os ir free, good? Thanks.
WIFI is free but sometimes it cuts out temporarily. Not a big deal, but a minor annoyance.

What is the price for one month in winter months? I will attend Spanish School.
I'm not sure what a longer term stay would cost. I suggest contacting the owner directly through their email account. She's a delightfully engaging lady and I'm sure she'd be willing to take on a monthly guest. Isla Verde would be a great place to experience Boquete for a month.

Yes they are absolutely open. We stayed there in late Feb and it was lovely. Your problem may be that Trip Advisor has it listed in the "B & B inns & Speciality" instead of the hotel listings for Boquete.

What is Puerto Madero cabin like? WiFi, humidity, quiet, etc?
I don't see Puerto Madero as one of the suites on their web page so maybe this cabin is one of the roundhouses? The roundhouses are closer to the main office and I'm sure are fairly quiet as is most of the property. I stayed in Mariposa Suite which is closer to the restaurant. The wi fi there was not that great inside the room but like others said we just went out on the patio or into the common areas for better reception. I was told that the closer you are to the main office, the better the wi fi reception gets. One thing to note with the roundhouses is that they have no outdoor private space; ie, a patio or balcony. Inside they are nice and spacious, but the lack of a patio was an issue for us. We also had no problems with the humidity and we have been there both in high and low season.

"This was our 2nd time to Isla Verde each time we stayed for 2 months"
"My daughters and I upgraded to a round house away from the street, it was more expensive but worth it in terms of security, noise and space."
"Some larger units have full kitchens. Others have hot plates and a small fridge."
"All rooms are great..."
"The little round cabins are spacious and nicely designed both on the exterior and interior."
