We arrived at Los Establos the Sunday of my birthday week. Beforehand we had interacted with the team via e-mail in preparation for our arrival. Their responses were so prompt and genuine. We felt welcomed long before we entered their quaint lobby. As our week unfolded at the inn so did the drama of Covid19. The team at Los Establos remained committed to hospitality in spite of the viral cloud looming above us all. Chuck and were the last two guests to remain by week’s end but we remained royalty. We are truly grateful for their unconditional kindness.
We stayed in a studio style room in Los Establos for a week and our friends stayed just across the hall from us. This place is a small place that was wonderful. It was comfortable and clean. The food was very good. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and had many different excursions to set you up on. This was my first time to Panama and I loved it.
We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights in mid-February. The grounds are beautiful and the property is well-kept. All of the staff is very friendly and get to know the guests well. They are there to help in any way possible and will go out of their way to accommodate you. Because it is a boutique inn, it also creates an intimate experience where you get to know the others guests staying on the property. We enjoyed happy hour and game time with our fellow guests, shared activities with them, and even exchanged contact information at the end of our stay. The hotel offers one activity per day included with the daily fee, but you can also add on another activity if you choose (and time allows). All transport is included and the hotel will even supply towels if you do a water-based activity. We enjoyed ziplining, white water rafting, and several hikes. During downtime at the hotel, we played games, did puzzles, played pool, and relaxed by the pool. One thing to note is that the hotel grounds can be cool and rainy because of the high elevation. Even if it is sunny, you still might get wet.…
We enjoyed a seven day stay at Los Establos and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Boquete. The inn has exceptional staff. They are warm, welcoming and do everything to make sure you have a great experience. On the morning we left, there was no time for breakfast and they surprised us with a breakfast bag. The location is beautiful. We never tired of waking to views of the volcano and the grounds are lovely with flowers everywhere. The food is exceptionally good and the happy hour every afternoon is when you get to know the other guests and exchange information about the activities you chose. You arrange activities with the front desk and all the offerings we experienced were memorable. There is a small pool, but the water is quite cool so we didn’t use it. I’m not sure swimming pools are that common in Boquete, due to cooler temps, but that’s the one thing I missed a bit. The other positive is that it only takes five minutes to get to town via taxi. Our trip to Boquete, Panama was made even better by staying at Los Establos.…
