We found the hotel very quiet and the activities offered were all off the property and required a drive on sometimes bumpy roads. The staff and your drivers were excellent. Only place to walk to wax the town which was s home downhill. Needed to take taxi back unless you are really into hiking ! uphill

My husband and I and our daughters had a great time here. The best part about this place is the staff. They are very friendly and helpful. We found that they did a lot of things for us that went above and beyond. For example they dried our clothes that had become wet in the rain without charge. They assisted...

My vacation was unexpected but pleasant. I booked through a charity auction through Elite Island so I expected a big resort (yes I know I should have done my research). However my visit was wonderful - relaxing, interesting and warm. We touring the town, coffee plantation and made a couple side trips. Staff at Los Establos was awesome. But I...

My husband and I just returned from visiting Los Establos in Boquete, Panama and are eager to book our next trip there. This unique and homey getaway is tucked away up the mountain, remote yet town accessible with a beautiful view of the Baru volcano. The room was quaint yet spacious and the nightly happy hours to chat with other...

A friend and I just spent six wonderful days in Boquete and stayed at Los Establos. I can't say enough nice things about the people, who, in my opinion, made our whole stay a great pleasure. We were welcomed ever so warmly by every staff member. They also helped us to get our daily excursions planned. The location of the...

The serenity and beauty of this hotel is hard to beat. Beautiful location in the mountains above David, Panama it was more that we had thought it would be. The staff makes you feel like family and the time goes too quickly. Amazing food and a great Happy Hour!

It has all the comforts of home if your home was a beautiful villa surrounded by flowers, mountains and coffee plantations. Having never been to Panama, we had no idea what to expect, but not only was Bouguete a charming special place, but the bed n breakfast was fabulous! The staff welcomed us like old friends no request was too...

Three friends and I stayed at Los Establos and had a wonderful time. It is family-run and you feel like you've been welcomed into their home. The food was great, the showers hot, the beds comfortable. Bring a fleece for the chilly mornings. Book the house transfer from David - by far the easiest way to arrive. The tour company...

Be prepared for a wonderful stay. Our flight was late but the restaurant staff stayed past 8 pm so we could have dinner that evening. Waking up every day to the breath taking views, beautiful flora and fauna made for a memorable vacation. Living in the southern part of the US, we pride ourselves on hospitality. Can truthfully say Los...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A Boutique Inn in Boquete with tropical gardens and volcano views. Originally built as a fancy stable, this boutique hacienda still celebrates all things equine - think bronze horse statuettes, a cowhide rug, and rooms named for the former barn residents (Chombita, Rosita, Solita, more). Wrought iron, regal columns and colonial arches abound, as do tasteful furnishings picked up around South and Central America, including an impressive snakewood dining set carved by hand in Argentina. ... more   less
