My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel and grounds are just beautiful. The garden is wonderfully planted- we loved having our breakfast out on the terrace outside our room. Our room was very private and peaceful. It was a pleasant stroll to the centre of town from the hotel.
We enjoyed using the swimming pool and jacuzzi. The only thing that would have made our stay better was if the sauna and steam room had instructions on how to turn them on. I wanted to use it but couldn't figure out how!

Pure Genius. The owner has built a small personal hotel around a health spa, gym and clinic. We stayed for only one night (sadly) but it was great! The room - very clean, luxury linens, nice outside courtyard for our breakfast. The spa - I had a wonderful full hour massage for $50 (a sale that day) and then used the sauna, jacuzzi and swim pool. The pool had an electronic machine that let you swim in place for as long as you could stand it. I spent over 2 hours just pampering myself. There are Chiropractor, Acupunture and other therapies on site as well. Definitely choose this place if you are going to Boquette.

Off the beaten path, it is a nice oasis in Boquete. Rooms are nice and private. We got queen bed with a nice sized bathroom. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My only gripe was the spotty wi-fi in our room, which was at the very end.

If you are looking for a relaxing get away that is walking distance to the main drag in Boquete, look no further than The Haven.

Loved the relax atmosphere of this beautiful spa, I will love to go back and spend more time here soon. Spa area is wonderful. With indoor pool and jacuzzi as well as exercise area. Acupuncture and massage services are great. Area is quiet and relaxing. Easy access to the town of boquete. Many things to do not only in the hotel but around town. I Highly recommend this spa.

We only took advantage of the hotel and didn't use any of the somewhat overpriced spa treatments. Very nice, very quiet (with a couple exceptions of some loud cell phone talkers). Very clean with beautiful surroundings. No onsite food options so you have to plan ahead or go offsite for food and drinks. Rooms have nice blender and a microwave. They did offer "continental breakfast", which included cereal, milk, and some fruits in the room - nice touch but very basic. Overall, very nice property with nice and attentive staff.

This is a lovely place to stay in Boquete, though our experience was marred by the last half hour of our stay, when the private car arranged by the hotel for our transfer to the David airport did not show up, and there was some tension about whether we would catch our flight (which luckily we did).
The hotel consists of 8 rooms, as well as a large spa , a small "exercise pool", sauna and hot tub. It is very quiet and peaceful, off the main road of Boquete. There is a pleasant common area that serves tea and flavored water and has comfortable chairs for reading. There is also a beautiful garden behind the hotel. The proximity to town is a plus - about a 15 minute walk - although the walk at night is somewhat treacherous with very uneven sidewalks. The rooms themselves are nice with double sinks and good showers in the bathrooms. All rooms have a small patio outside. It is important to know that the hotel has no restaurant, so breakfast, which is included, consists of cereal, muffins, fruit and coffee provided daily by the hotel and left in the room. This was adequate for us but may not be to everyone's liking (raisin bran and raisin muffins).
I did not get a warm fuzzy vibe at this hotel, but I cannot complain about the service. Alexandra was wonderful about answering my numerous questions in advance by e-mail, and she made some dinner reservations for us.
All in all, I would recommend this hotel to someone who does not have a car and wants to stay near the town for its restaurants. If we had rented a car, I would have probably stayed at one of the coffee farms in the hills, like Finca Lerida.

This was our second visit to The Haven. If it is possible, it was even better than our first trip. The landscaping has matured to allow total privacy in the Garden Unit.
Alexandia and Brian will handle any of your needs (to include dragging out the water hose to clean muddy shoes after a hike).
Spa service is also grand.

Quiet, serene and beautiful. A babbling brook ran past our patio. The staff goes out of their way to insure you enjoyment. The wave pool was a pleasant surprise as was the peace and tranquillity that is ever present. The oriental theme is both lovely and soothing. WiFi, cable TV, complementary breakfast and full amenities add to the realization that the stay here was a very good decision!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The spa is well appointed. The desk is staffed from 8am to 7 pm. The pool is an exercise pool and you have to sign up to use it. The reservation stated it includes breakfast. That really means fruit, muffins, milk, yogurt stocked in the room and mini fridge not go eat breakfast. It is close to but not really walking distance.

We drove a rental car to hotel and from hotel to David Airport, so have no direct experience. Call Brian at the hotel. He is extremely gracious and helpful with everything. He will make it easy, I am sure.

Spa was excellent in my opinion! Staff were friendly, helpful, and made you feel comfortable. The entire atmosphere is relaxing and calming. The massage therapist I had was really good I thought. Made sure I was comfortable, asked about pressure of the massage periodically, and any particular spots I wanted focused on. The hotel rooms themselves are very beautiful. Everything is modern, clean, and the patio was great. No restaurant on site, and the provided breakfast isn't a full breakfast, but it's a great starter while you get ready to go out for breakfast at a place nearby. It's a very relaxing place and is definitely not for those looking for a little more excitement in their stay. It's more of a retreat to get away, relax, workout, and enjoy the spa.
