We stayed in Mamallena for a couple of nights while in Boquete. It is a proper hostel, decent kitchen, OK rooms, and offerings lots of excursions and things to do! If you're backpacking and looking to meet people then this is definitely the place for you - friendly staff, loads of people around, and right in the centre of town....

Very nice little hostel with very friendly staff there to help you. They offer quite a lot of tours, where we ended up going with to a vulcano hike at night and a white water rafting trip. They do sell other tours as f.e. waterfall hiking, what we did, but this ou can easily do by yourself. The hostel is right...

As we arrived in Boquete we had to decide where to sleep now. This hostel looked nice and so we tryed to get a room there: And it was so easy. Breakfast is included, if you like pancakes - but you have to bake them on your own. The kitchen was very simple but does its job. Rooms are clean...

This was a great hostel. Really clean, spacious, right on the main square and lovely staff who helped look after our valuables and muddy shoes as well. There is a company who do tours based in the reception area that are really cheap as well so really easy to get the most out of your stay. The pancake breakfast is...

Stayed in a private room with private bath. Was big room. The staff are very helpful. Location very central. The building is a bit dated but not in a bad way. Because it so central can be quite loud at night with the bar next door. But part of the appeal. The breakfast is just pancake mixture which you make...

Great hostel in the centre of town. They offer loads of trips, tours and excursions in and around Boquette. The hostel is quiet, clean and has a garden and balcony area so perfect to meet other people. Its close enough to all the things in town, if you want a night out, meal etc but also remains very quiet to...

The hostel have lots of tours. We took the mini mountain + hot springs & coffee tour, 50$ total. We had amazing guide called Gabriel and it was fun. The coffee was a little bit boring, take it only if you really want to learn how they make coffee. All the stuff are nice, patient, kind and know english. We...

This was perfectly decent as hostels go. Lots of friendly people at reception, easy to book tours or shuttle buses, pancake batter provided for breakfast. I appreciate when you're travelling and staying in hostel dorms facilities will be limited, but this place could do with slightly better bathrooms for those using the shared bathrooms. Often there wasn't even somewhere to...

We stayed for 4 nights. $33 for each night in a private room: no AC, no television, 3 beds (2 twins, 1 queen), wifi internet connection. The AC is not necessary given the climate. The only downside was that the hot water didn't work on the shower, so cold water all the way.

We stayed here twice during our trip. This place had a good atmosphere, great vibe. All the staff were kind and helpful, especially Gregori from Venezuela was a great guy. If you stay here, you must do the hike to the top of the volcano Barú. We liked making food in the kitchen and talk with other travellers. Rooms are...
