Millennium Resort Salalah earns rave reviews for its professional service, with guests appreciating the friendly staff and efficient beach shuttle. The rooms, while modern and generally well-kept, occasionally require maintenance. The hotel's amenities, including a variety of pools and proximity to a shopping mall, are popular, though additional sunbeds are desirable. While opinions on the location vary, the combination of comfortable lodging, a relaxing atmosphere, and value for money, including a praised rooftop dining experience, makes it a commendable choice for travelers. Cleanliness is noted as a strong point, despite some areas needing improvement.

My group were supposed to stay for only a week however the pandemic reached Oman as well so our flights were canceled. During the normal past days, we really enjoyed the sumptuous buffet and the good service provided by Ms Raylin and her team. She even memorized all of our preferences from the coffee that we liked to the tables that we preferred to have our meals. Taybat Restaurant and the rest shut down because of the new rule implemented by the Oman Government so we had to have all our meals in our rooms and it was sad not to be able to see those wonderful staff and to enjoy the sun while having our breakfast in the terrace. Although given the situation, the food and service were still up to our expectations and it was even way beyond. Honestly, I'm also glad that I still see Ms Raylin leading the team delivering the food to us from our breakfast to dinner. Though the portion was not same like in buffet, I still felt the care and the good service being provided. We stayed for more days as our flight kept on to being delayed and we were still being taken cared of by your wonderful team. Those guys who were cleaning our rooms made sure as well that everything was fine and our minibar was always refilled. I would love to stay more but we had to go because of the situation. I just hope that everyone are safe and the staff are in good hands.

We stayed for a short week in this very well organized resort.
The comfortable room was of of very good size with a very comfortable bed.

The beach club, which recently opened is in need of improvement due to the fact that it doesn't reflect the standard of the resort with poor washrooms and to less sunbeds. some of the staff, I have to say, went really out of there way and worked very hard to make the guest happy and comfortable. The beach itself is beautiful and perfect for long walks.

What really made our stay was the breakfast and dining area. Very well organized, beautifull decorated with so much delicious choices.

But what makes a good hotel an exceptional one are the people who makes your stay something to remember.
That's why I want to take this opportunity to specially mention the chef of the restaurant who took extra care for us being vegetarians.
But even more I would like to mention Raylyn. She was there always to make sure that we and all her other guest were taking care of, take notice of special request and oversee everything and being professional at the same time.
Raylyn and her colleague Rhoan felt like family which made our stay a very special one

I stayed in one of the chalets, which was perfect for peace and quiet. I particularly enjoyed having the private, quiet terrace where I could take breakfast in the mornings, sunbathe in the afternoons with my own private swimming area, and relax in the evenings without being overlooked. The main pool was lovely and the lazy river was super relaxing and fun. I was there at a relatively quiet time, so not sure if they would be enough sunbeds if it was busy, but it was fine for this trip.

Reception, although often busy, always saw to anything I needed quickly and efficiently.

The gym was small but adequate for the several times I used it and the spa was lovely with super helpful staff and superb service.

I can't comment on the main hotel or restaurants as I didn't use them. The coffee shop was a nice area to sit in the evenings, although I felt sorry for Eliza - the girl who ran it, who was often alone to take orders, prepare them, deliver them and clean up afterwards. And when her shift was done she spent around another 3 or 4 hours cleaning the shop, doing the day's finances & paperwork and preparing for the following day. So around a 12 hour day for her, which the management didn't seem to worry about. Amazingly, she still maintained an extremely positive attitude with a cheery outlook and had a smile for everyone. Thanks Eliza - I hope you get some help soon...

Amazing hotel in the middle of salalah near by many attractive places. I would like to thank the hotel staff and management for the good treatment. They were very cooperative.
The hotel is in the city center and next to many landmarks . The cost of the night was a great bargain and the rooms are roomy and clean and day by day cleaning service. The hotel has a coffee shop, and multiple restaurants, I ordered from room service and the food was delicious and the price was reasonable. I recommend this hotel for families and individuals ,especially as it has chalets and private villas suitable for families. I thank all the reception team, especially Mohammed, Reham and Meena for the good treatment during my stay. Tahiya Almaskari

My wife and I are members of the Millenium health club and we use their facilities at least 5 times a week. My wife likes the Women’s indoor swimming pool a lot whereas I like to work out at the Men’s gym as it is an amazing place to work out and the trainer Mr Chola is super helpful, encouraging, and very friendly who makes me want to go train.

What I like the most are his group classes which are not only challenging and fun but also focus on strength training more than group classes I’ve tried which I love. It’s great to be able to get stronger and have proper form in a group setting.

I love that they provide parking validation, clean towels for workouts, water and most importantly they sanitise the Gym equipment frequently ensuring everybody’s health and safety.

I look forward to walking through the doors and always feel amazing when I leave. I would highly recommend Millenium and its gym.

I highly recommend Hotel Milennium! Very nice facility, well-kept and full of plants. Heated pool water. In the women's zone there is a swimming pool, two saunas and a jacuzzi. Hotel room very spacious and well-kept. The big advantage is the large TV set with YouTube. The room was cleaned every day, towels were changed and water was replenished. The hotel has a beautiful, wide area with sun loungers and umbrellas, the hotel bus goes to the beach three times a day. The food is very diverse, there is something for everyone. On the first day, we were greeted by a beautiful barbecue dinner with music. Hotel service at the highest level at every level. Everyone is smiling and very helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Shukri Albetar who reacted immediately when I reported my family member's malaise. Mr. Shukri personally took him to the hospital, took care of immediate help, a private room for the patient and payment for the stay from the insurer. After returning to the hotel, he asked about his well-being every day. Thank you very much for that! A hotel worth recommending, I will be happy to come back there :)

Stayed here in between seasons in October.
Friendly staff (let me highlight Hannah from restaurant management, Sabbir from housekeeping)
Entry level Room was spacious and meticulously cleaned every day, the aircon vent was dust free, so they do pay attention to the details.
At breakfast you can certainly find something for every taste. They offer the international basics as well as local arabic and indean cuisine. Dishes changed every other day. Despite being surrounded by banana trees, they do not serve bananas at breakfast, maybe this would be an improvent.

Very calm pool with a lazy river. Unfortunately, the towels are not the newest and some sun beds are worn off.
It is a city hotel but they have their own beachclub and a shuttle service that runs between the hotel and the beach.

Overall had a comfortable stay and felt very welcomed.

Our stay here was very comfortable. Rooms, bathrooms, common spaces were all comfortable, spacious, and clean. The pool was lovely, and they don't mind if you sunbathe in a bikini (many swimming areas in Oman are quite conservative). The staff speaks English pretty well, food was solid. Make sure you eat once upstairs at the Sky Restaurant and have the Om Ali for dessert! Note, you cannot get alcohol in the hotel, and it's very hard to find in Oman period. The only reason I gave this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 is the location, which is not really near the beach or the city. You can't really walk anywhere so you are depending on cars/taxi, or beach shuttle bus. But if you just want to lie around the pool, use the spa, etc, it is a lovely place to spend entire days!

Really disappointed with the food, service and overall experience from the staff.
Me and my husband went seeing their fb ad on the 'Thai night'. Unfortunately we couldn't even find a single authentic Thai dish.
The service of the staff was below average with an unpleasant attitude.
They were not even aware of the prominent Thai dishes when asked.
Being a buffet dinner, they were even charging additional price on juices served on table that too without having a price menu.

We had a really wonderful stay at the Millenium Hotel. The staff went out of their way to make us feel home away from home. We would like to send special thanks to the very artistic Eyakub Imtiaz and the housekeeping team for always keeping our room tidy and welcoming, even with some really special beautiful flower surprises. A big thanks you to Mr. Tipu from Bangladesh who was the most caring and hospitable waiter, taking special care of our little son every breakfast and dinner, running around with the biggest smile on his face. Thank you to the friendly Ms Jerryl, Mr Owen and the whole restaurant and hotel team. We love to stay again at Millenium Salalah soon.
