We stayed here on Dec 30th, a days before the New Year and to have our yearly reunion with friends. We booked the chalets on the last minute and its a great choice indeed. The location is on the top of the mountains and the journey is like a roller coaster ride. It was a wonderful experience and once you...

Situated in unspoiled nature on Jebel Sarah it offers plenty possibility of hiking, either on the famous Abandoned Village walk or less known hikes on the neighboring mountains that the resort can organize for you. Or you can just drive around exploring mountain villages, caves, canyons, terrace fields,... Costing less then neighboring...

We stayed in the Arab tents. The tents had too many issues. Bathroom doors not closing, the tent door broken, no place to keep clothes, poor lighting in the tent ,and no cupboard etc. The restaurant is closed between 2 and 7 pm and there is no room service. For everything you have to chase the reception. It is not...

The Sunrise Resort is located near the top of a mountain range near Jebel Shams. Seriously, it is a stiff drive to get there – uphill for a lot of the way. After the bitumen runs out it is a dirt road – rough, narrow, steep and winding. You really need a four-wheel drive and you are advised to arrive...

The best place if you like to be away from crowd and an extra drive over the graded mountain track. Other hotels are much easier to reach, but you miss the drive too. Friendly staff, very well kept and reasonable. Garbage is taken care as they move around to make sure place is clean. Keep the windows shut until night...

Staff treated us as family. You need a 4 x drive to get to the resort but it is not scary. Thought in the rainy season it will be a different story. We are seeing forword to make use of the new facilities next year.

We spend 1 night at the resort. It was an adventure in itself getting to the resort! The accommodation is quite basic but was acceptable. It was very clean and neat and the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast and dinner was good. We found the beds to be extremely hard and the bathroom had a damp smell (lack...
