There isn’t a lot of accommodation available in Khasab and this hotel is about the best deal but at the equivalent of $94 per night it falls a long way short of delivering good value. The hotel is worn and tired throughout and needs some serious inward investment to bring it up to scratch. Rooms are clean and are a good size with large comfortable beds but everything is just in need of upgrade. Sound insulation is poor and you hear all noise from the corridor in your room. Breakfast is buffet style and is actually very good with a broad selection but is an interesting affair nonetheless. The young lady who takes the room numbers also manages the toaster which results in people waiting around for toast instead of moving on to the buffet proper. This causes a significant log-jam of people being made to wait to give in their room numbers and get their breakfast started. The shining light of the hotel has to be the ladies on reception who are all really lovely, bubbly people. The pool is quite nice, and very clean, but there are only 5 sun beds and they are a very basic design of canvass on a metal frame with cross support bars that offer no comfort. We ate in the hotel restaurant once and the food was very good but it’s quite expensive. If you step out of the hotel and turn left it’s about a 12 minute walk to a small commercial area where there are a number of local restaurants at much lower prices. There are also shops and banks. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle bus to the airport.

We took up a 2 bed apartment for a night as there were 4 of us. Paid 700 AED for the night as it was high season. The rooms are huge with a fridge and a kitchen sink with all the basic requirements. . 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths . Very clean linen and toilets . This was my second time here and was happy with my choice . They offer breakfast 7 am to 10 am which is a nice spread.

The place is clean, rooms are so big! The pool is great! I left my bag at the hotel and got it back in less than a week’s time. The staff are very approachable, friendly and helpful! Thanks for sending my bag back to UAE.

Had a week here and loved it. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and genuine. They looked after us so well. We loved the pool - really good size for a proper lap swim. We enjoyed eating our breakfast outside. The mint tea is delicious and the fried eggs are wonderful! Although a limited choice we really liked our breakfasts and I loved some of the curries. The reception area was comfy and always had Arabic tea and coffee and dates . It smelled wonderful as they burned bakhoor incense all day. The hotel arranged great day trips and it was all so well organised. We did two dhow cruises, a day trip to Kamzar by speedboat and a mountain safari. They also took us to the beach a couple of times. We walked out every evening into town which was very good. If we go to Khasab again we will definitely stay there again.
