Very nice bracket in an exceptional setting.
Very welcome, the stuffed snails are delicious, the packed lunches proposed especially tuna tartare were well appreciated.
In addition, our excursions were very well organized by the housemaster. Excursion is brush to do!
We recommend this property with your eyes closed.
A nice continuation. Pleasure.

The Isle of Pines is a lovely place to spend a few days, it's sparsely populated and has little development. This makes the Isle a great place to relax and enjoy. The Gite is a 5 minute drive from the ferry terminal and about 20 minutes from the airport. It's situated amongst overhanging trees and is about 100 metres from the soft, sandy beach. We stayed in a traditional bungalow for 3 nights, which was comfortable for 2 but may be a squeeze for 4. The bungalow has a kitchenette with fridge and stovetop and lots of crockery, glasses, pots and pans etc. We brought some provisions with us from Noumea. The shower was good but the main bed is a double and is a tight fit for 2. As you are "in the country", there's a few roosters that compete for the loudest "crow" during the early hours. We ate at the restaurant one night and the food was excellent. We also booked a journey on a pirogue with lunch, at the gite, and then on to the Piscine Naturelle and that was a highlight. We really enjoyed our stay at the Gite. It was quiet, relaxing and something a bit different. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Easy place to camp, protected by big trees on the side, flat grass/sandy areas to pitch tents and also cabins to rent for a bit more comfort. Small shop for a bit of food and also hire bikes, which you can cycle around the entire ~50km circumference of the island. I recommend a visit to the village of Vao along with some of the other beaches besides Piscine Naturelle. If you speak a bit of french, chat with some of the locals. Very friendly and open folks.

I had a fabulous stay at Nataiwatch - it was exceptional and I can well recommend. The staff were lovely, the meals in the Restaurant were outstanding (love the Tuna Steak!!). The bungalow was very comfortable and it was sooo close to the most beautiful beach. Make sure you ask about ALL the tours as the boat tour across to the Island with Lobster for Lunch was a highlight as was the Outrigger boat across Upi lagoon. The staff arranged to take my bag (which I left at Reception in the morning) to the pickup at the end of a day/boat tour and dropped me at the airport at 3.30 ready for my 4.30pm flight which was fabulous. Cannot recommend this place to stay enough. Right on the best beach/s and amongst the more expensive Hotels as the best area to stay..... You will love your time at Nataiwatch, I cant wait to return!!

Very happy with this cottage where we were very well received. The staff is accommodating, friendly and responsive. Our bungalow was unpretentious but very clean and had all the necessary amenities. I would have liked to have a TV to occupy my evening a little once night falls but that's the only negative point that comes to mind. The best asset of Nataiwatch is undoubtedly its location just a stone's throw from Kanuméra Bay. We were amazed when we discovered this spot at the end of a small path. The sunset was magnificent. We also booked a canoe ride on Upi Bay at the lodge, again a magical moment. You can reserve sandwiches for lunch and everything has been planned for our transfer to the airport after the excursion. It's flawless.

We spent 3 nights camping on the land specially reserved for tents. The place is clean, partially shaded and equipped with tables, sink and electricity. The toilet is always clean and decorated with pretty frangipani flowers. So nice. Access to Kanumera Bay is quick via the small path. Ideal for walking at daybreak and seeing the sunset.
We took the canoe excursion which remains the best memory of my trip. Bike rental is convenient for exploring the surrounding area. In short, we were very well received and I hope to come back one day ❤️

We had a fabulous and enjoyable stay at Gite Nataiwatch. The location is unbeatable, Kunamera beach is at the doorstep. We stayed 2 nights in a 1-bedroom bungalow, which was very private and quiet.
Breakfast was fine, pizza dinner was great and sandwiches lunch was perfect.

The people of Isle of Pines and Gite Nataiwatch are very friendly despite the fact that we can't speak French.
We rented a bike to see Vao, and we also hiked to Pic Nga. On the last day we took the outrigger boat across Upi lagoon, it's a great trip. The Natural Pool is really an amazing place for snorkelling.

Highly recommended to stay at Nataiwatch!

Yeah, good! Very clean bungalows in an exceptional site near a beautiful bay. Excellent welcome from Nicolas with a very efficient and friendly team. The service at the restaurant is impeccable, hearty dishes...a very relaxing setting with family. I recommend this place very resourceful nature and simple at the same time. 👍

We spent almost a week at the Nataiwatch gîte (extension of the stay following the airport blockage) and we were not disappointed! The semi-detached bungalows are clean and well appointed.
Very well located, bike rental, good restaurant, canoe ride (really so cool) and super convenient shuttle service. A young and dynamic team that is a pleasure to see!
Very good value for money for a stay on the Isle of Pines ;)

This is hard to rate because there are a lot of positives and negatives mixed up. The Isle of Pines is truly gorgeous. It might be the nicest beach destination I have ever seen. The complex is full of rich green foliage and it’s only a short walk down to the water. On the down side, our bungalow was very stuffy and the lack of air-con made it hard to sleep at times. Food is also a very mixed bag. The breakfasts were very basic and lacklustre but the dinner menu was great. Overall, this is a great place to stay but the food and services are frustratingly inconsistent.
