After hours of driving from the Namib desert we were happy to find this hotel in a quiet environnement close to the sea (not traffic). A staff member cleaned our luggage as they were full of dust from the road, pity we couldn't find this person later on to tip him ! The rooms were pleasant and nicely decorated but... More

Located close to the sea front and the Swakopmund town center, this hotel did not hit any high notes. From a disinterested owner to a rusty and mouldy shower tray, the hotel did not inspire. On the upside were cheerful and helpful staff, a good breakfast and a clean room. Our room, number 3, was a bit small and cramped.... More

I stayed here for 2 nights along with my tour group. Some of us had rooms in the main building but I was lucky enough to have room 25 which was next door. There are 4 rooms here, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs. I was upstairs and had a balcony which was lovely to sit and relax on the chairs... More

Great welcome, obliging staff, great comfortable room, good location. Receptionist remembered details of booking, sorted out all difficulties from ten thousand miles away, was great at advising on shopping tyre problems for vehicle and dinner reservations. We were completely satisfied with all aspects of this hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights just recently while 6 of us were on tour through Namibia, and after a few issues with room accommodation special requests that did not happen initially, we were finally moved to the right room, and given a bottle of wine and a snack hamper for the inconvenience. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff... More

Food, location and rooms are great. However, there are rooms with the shower in the middle of the living room, which might matter for you if not travelling as a couple. Service is depending on the staff and ranges from just friendly to really good and helpful.

We stayed in Swakopmund over a weekend en route to Sossusvlei. The rooms were well above expectations in size and design. I loved the kitchenette and lounge area in our room as well as the well appointed bathroom. We had our own vehicle so getting around was not a problem but I think the hotel can do better on guest... We spent 2 nights in this perfect small hotel in walking distance to the town and restaurants. The rooms were really luxury after 2 weeks in the bush. The receiving was warmly and they did everything for us to make the stay great!

Me and my daughter stayed at this hotel for one night. We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel has friendly staff, very clean rooms and a nice warm breakfast. We will definitely visit again. What i loved most is that it is a few minutes walk to our favorite restaurant "The Tug".
