This hotel is a hidden gem in plain sight. Although it boasts very modern finishings and a great location, the winning ingredient is the combination of Wilco, Mildred and their team. They assisted with the storage our extra food for our long stay. They also met our dietary requirements with a superb breakfast on our last day. We learned more about the Namibian culture and its people. My boys loved the daily rental of the PS4 (video games) on the rainy days. My daughter and I enjoyed hiring the bicycles and exploring the town and beach (even in the rain). I will definitely return! Read more

Quick breakaway to escape the heat of the inland towns. Check-in was quick and easy, with clean, neat and spacious rooms. Google powered techno gadgets in the room, with good WiFi coverage. All the utensils in the kitchen for self catering, as well as reasonably priced mini bar. Close to the shopping and restaurants in the town center. The team were always friendly and ready to assist.

I vacationed in Swakopmund for my End of year travel with a friend. We stayed at Desert sands and we were welcomed by their amazing staff :) Everyone was friendly and very welcoming. Shoutout to Natasha who handled our booking and attending to my never ending questions with so much professionalism. We were meant to check in at 2 but arrived earlier and were accommodated with no hassles. The rooms are spacious and fully furnished. The establishment has a beautiful breakfast dinning area with city views and breeze. We really enjoyed the breakfast! The food was freshly prepared and served. Keep up the good work guys! Also, liked how the owner is so involved in the day to day operations to ensure guests are comfortable. Will definitely recommend! Affordable, safe and value for money. Oh! Awesome place to stay. Indoor parking, large rooms, free unlimited wifi, dstv, etc. The rooms are really nice with a kitchen, lounge and balcony. The bfast could be better and the brochure boasts of Netflix in every room which is not the case.
