Rooms in this hotel (the former Swakopmund Station) are spacious and look out on the central court. Reception and service are good. In the rooms there is a small fridge and an electronic safe. Wifi is available but limited to 500 MB per day. If you have spent your quota you can ask to prolong your connection at the reception...

Sorry we could not stay here in this impressive former railway station, as we had been booked elsewhere by our tour company. As a railway enthusiast it was a must visit place. Although we were not guests, we were given a warm welcome and invited to look around. The pictures around the wall were fascinating, and there was a 1997...

We stayed here for a conference, for three nights. On arrival there was plenty of parking, outside, in front of the hotel. Check in was efficient and friendly. We had two very nice and clean rooms, with balconies, over looking the pool area situated in the centre of the hotel. On the first evening, we ate as a family in...

A ripper Hotel just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Very nice rooms and facilities with an excellent restaurant. An ideal base from which to launch the various tours but recommend the beach drive or aerial scenic over the ship wrecks.

Now I have to mention that I couldn't find the exact title of the hotel because there are a few that say Swakopmund Hotel. The hotel I'm writing about is called "Swakopmund Hotel & Entertainment Centre. This hotel is gorgeous! It has a huge beautiful lobby. We were greeted with a juice drink and hot towel. There's a little souvenir...

This is a lovely old colonial building, attractive, imposing and solid. I believe the original building was once a railway station. The rooms are very well equipped, tastefully decorated, comfortable and quiet. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The restaurant is cosy and the food is very good (buffet service). There's also a Chinese restaurant, a pool and a...

This was my first visit to Swakopmund and I loved everything about it; the Swakopmund Hotel included. The hotel is neat and peaceful, all the staff are friendly and accommodating. This quaint hotel seeped in rich history is a lovely hotel that has pretty much everything you need at your fingertips! The restaurant also makes a damn good fillet!

We loved our two-night stay in Swakopmund Hotel. A beautiful old colonial building with a huge pool and lovely grounds. A good option for kids. The rooms aren't huge but well laid out. Dear Guest, Thank you for your positive review! I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us at the Swakopmund Hotel & Entertainment Centre.
