This guest house is very well situated for easy walking access it the centre of town & beachfront. Some reviews say it can be noisy but the town was very quiet in mid January & we stayed for a Friday & Saturday night. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the evening meals were good, nothing fancy... More

Best salad for lunch, best breakfast during our trip and great staff! The King room was awesome and we had a great stay here. Massage was the best in a while and the tour information was really helpful. Make sure you stay here for longer, we loved Villa Margherita and Swakop.

A very beautiful place with a lovely courtyard garden. Great staff and facilities. We had 'The Nest' which turned out to be a large apartment. Swakopmund can be very cold compared to the rest of Namibia, so the beds have electric blankets and duvets making for a very good night's sleep. It's a genuinely lovely place to stay and I'd... We have stayed at Villa Margherita twice. The rooms are large and chic and interesting, with vibrant art and tons of space. The staff is warm and responsive and friendly. The restaurant -- both for the excellent breakfast and for the by-reservation-only haute cuisine dinners -- is excellent. The one real disappointment is that the hotel is just noisy. You... More

We stayed over for one night and had an amazing experience. The room was great and very clean and the staff were great. Very helpful with helping to book a restaurant for the same evening. Breakfast was very pleasant. If we stay in Swakopmund again we will definitely be returning to this great place!

Clean. Relaxing, staff careful and competent, quick service, great breakfast. It is a very good place where to stay in Swakopmund. Parking outside but no safety problems. Possibility of a small portable heater in the room during winter time.

Let's be clear , this is a very homely small hotel , nothing more , nothing less. We stayed in The Nest ( I think) , whre there was a separate room for my two sons , who loved it. It had a nice open lounge too. What set the place apart was the attentiveness of the managers , Mutte... More

This small lovely hotel deserves an excellent rating and I would have given one, if the dining room had been open over the weekend we stayed there. We were given a choice of 2 beautiful rooms, Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton, both of which opened on to the lovely garden. The staff are ALL absolutely delightful, the breakfast was great... More

Extremely friendly- really helpful and enthusiastic staff and a very comfortable and spacious room with private balcony. We didn't have dinner here but they were happy to book a table at The Tug (very good) and we were amused that the reservation was in the name of our room (Romeo and Juliet!). There is a limited amount of off street... More
