I stayed here in an apartment for the whole of 2016, working from Pemba. It is a very good hotel with more pros than cons:- Pros The people are great - the staff can't do enough for you to make you stay a good one. The spa - the girls in the spa do a bloody good deep muscle massage....

We had just one night here, after a long road journey and before a helicopter transfer out to Quilalea Island. It was the evening of Christmas Day but the hotel was mercifully light on festive decoration. The room was fine, with a nice large balcony, though a fair walk from both reception and the only restaurant which was open. My...

The hotel has a really nice open air restaurant on the edge of the sea shore in a quiet part of Pemba. The restaurant has great seafood at an exceptionally low price. This is definitely the place to eat when in Pemba.

This hotel has many years of wear and tear, but is well run. The hotel has access issues for people with mobility issues. The rooms which are old style, but most have a sea view, are in good repair with minor problems, but the view of the Pemba bay and the pleasant sea breeze makes this a great place. The...

Great hotel but because I am hear for buisness I needed WiFi, the hotels WiFi is poor to nonexistent. I would also prefer a restaurant or bar with aircon. Otherwise great vew and lots of pools for holidaymakers.

After a very long hot journey this was a very nice place to stay. Hotel staff are very friendly and the manager goes the extra mile. Rooms are very nice and big with a bath and shower. The aircon works very well which good as it gets hot and humid in Pemba. Only down side is as with all Mozambique...

The best place to stay when you are in Pemba. Rooms are very clean, the food is of the highest quality and the staff is very helpful. The beach is very close to the hotel so walking distances are short.

Very pretty hotel in surprising location. Great facilities with super spa. Food needs more variety but what is on menu is done well. Some staff amazingly polite and keen to help, others would perhaps rather be watching TV somewhere but there you go!! Wifi needs upgrading- tragically slow at times. Pool area beautiful and stunning views. We spent some long...

This hotel changed my perspective on Africa! I love the pool, enjoyed the food, especially in the Naval Club, we had a great project dinner in this restaurant. Everything seems perfect until you'd reached the internet service situation. One-hour-free internet wifi is just a bit useless for business purpose. Make it unlimited instead!

We only stayed here as a transit night before heading to Azura Quilalea. The staff was wonderful- greeting us at the airport, filling our room with flower petals and bubbly (it was our honeymoon). The food was good (seafood stew) and the grounds were well-maintained. It's close to the airport too. Bed was comfy, plenty of hot water for the...
