After a long drive this was truly an oasis of relaxation, you can feel the vibe as soon as you drive in you are overwhelmed with positive energy, I felt like I went through a time warp , after driving through the somewhat rustic nacala I honestly did not expect such a beautiful property, As I arrived I was greeted by such friendly staff that could speak English perfectly which is rare in Nacala, sat down to an ice cold beer with an astonishing view of the bay ....seriously paradise with all the coconut palms. Then it just kept getting better and better , I am a qualified chef and I'm not lying when I say I had the best Peri peri chicken, when people say authentic Mozambique peri peri chicken this was by far exactly what it was supposed to taste like , succulent, juicy with a nice bite of peri peri , the calamari for dinner was just as good, tasty fresh and tender , the presentation of the food is the best I have seen in Mozambique with fresh organic salad and homegrown herbs, the room was very clean with mosquitoe nets and the rooms have air-cons , towels are provided and there is always hot water, Sabrina the host an manageress is fantastic and really goes out of her way to ensure you are comfortable and really feel at home, all in all a great experience and I would highly recommend every aspect of this establishment…
I stayed at Kwalala Lodge for a week for business and Shirley and the team couldn’t have been more helpful, whether organising transport, local SIM cards or supplies for a stranded ship’s crew. Added to the relaxed setting, good food and accommodation, it was a great experience overall.
Wow what an experience.. A fantastic holiday resort with amazing facilities. The diving was out of this world as was the food and people there. A place I would Definitely go back to for the adventure and hospitality. Thankyou Mike and Shirley
What a great business trip... felt like I was on holiday for three days. WIFI is excellent, amenities are brilliant and accommodation is superb. Shall definitely be going back for a real holiday in the near future.
Good value, clean, delicious restaurant. Overlooking Nacala bay, very scenic. Beach a very short walk away. Comfortable beds. Ideal for business travellers and holiday makers. Probably the best place to stay in Nacala.
Awsome Lodge. Clean and Comfortable. Excellent food. Cold beers ! You cannot go wrong. Probably the best place to book into when in Nacala. Make sure you spend a weekend and enjoy the beech. Good WIFI
Excellent food and service in the midlle og nowehere. The staff was very freindly and best coffee in all Mozambique. A place to return with time to enjoy all the facilities. Peacefull and very clean. Best thaks.
We stayed with our family for two nights. The rooms are very good, clean, great quality. The restaurant is outstanding, never experienced this before in Mozambique. Our kids were in the sea most of the time: snorkeling, paddle boarding, canoeing while my wife and I enjoyed the stunning sunset with a glass of wine. It was just one big party!!!
Spent three nights here. Rooms were very comfortable with all basic amenities. Well located close to the sea. Staff here are very helpful. Mike and Shirley gave their personal attention to make sure we were always comfortable. Sabrina is commended too for making our stay there a pleasant one. Will definitely be back. Thank you!
I stayed at Kwalala because I used to live in Nacala and knew about the lodge, so when I decided to visit it was already one of my choices. I was very happy with the service at the restaurant and at my room. the staff are friendly and incredibly helpful, while always respectful. It is a beautiful place to be just for it's setting, but the atmosphere is also very calm and relaxing. I would definitely recommend Kwalala to anyone I know.
