It is located close to the Medina entrance gate by the Atlantic. There is a courtyard with 3 floors of rooms surrounding it. My room also looked out into the street (pedestrian path). On the ground floor are a bar and game room, as well as restaurant open for dinner. They have many colorful and creative art objects for sale. There is a marble floor in the lobby and open atrium. A wonderful smell is present in the lobby and guest rooms. There is a huge rooftop terrace with a view of the ocean and beach (although there are buildings in foreground). Guest rooms are spacious, with a beautiful mosaic floor, great WiFi, tv. There is a big and super comfy bed with beautiful bedspread. It has a large bathroom, grey walls (cement/marble?), beige marble floors, a spacious shower with immediate hot water and good pressure. Only one bath towel (no hand towel) and bath mat provided. Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace. 4 flights of winding stairs to get there. Coffee/tea, fresh oj, cut fruit, M’Semen, crepe (round flat crumpet like thing), coffee cake, other bread. Slow service, be prepared to relax. Friendly and very helpful service staff.

Quaint rooms surrounding the stunning interior sitting area. No elevator and we needed to sleep with the interior windows open even in February. Rooms ver comfortable and bathroom very modern. Rooftop lounge area had great views. Very close to beach and old city.

The location just inside the city walls near the beach and port is perfect- there are views of both from the rooftop terrace. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly from reception through housekeeping to the restaurant and terrace. We enjoyed the breakfast on the rooftop terrace and the cosy atmosphere of the restaurant for dinner. Altogether our visit was a most enjoyable stay in relaxed Essaouira

Fantastic little rustic place inside the Le town walls. Fantastic food top bar and also where you eat breakfast, spacious and very well presented rooms. We really liked it, the staff were sensational as was the in-house made breakfast up on the roof. Perfect location to stay when visiting Essaouira

Beautifully restored Riad, minutes from the Medina, on 4 floors (no elevator) , good view from rooftop terrace to have your drink, nicely decorated medium size rooms and bathroom, as usual in Riads, no enough light in the bedroom and bathroom, good WIFI, pleasant staff. top restaurant downstairs and entertainement (Gnawa dancers and music) . Very clean and comfortable beds.

We had three nights in this room on the top floor up four flights, no lift, under the roof terrace. It was large with a separate toilet (with its own door) and large bathroom. The porter took our bags up thank goodness, but we didn’t expect a lift of course. It was light and airy and a good view from the roof over the beach. The courtyard hosted three Moroccan musicians each evening for happy hour, so don’t try to take a nap then. They were great, and loud. We had breakfast included but I’m afraid it wasn’t special. They couldn’t help me with my gluten free diet so an omelette was my meal for all breakfasts. We did have dinner there the first night but found much better meals in the restaurants nearby. It was very clean. My bed creaked an awful lot when trying to get up quietly at night.

Excellent location. Quirky yet comfy rooms. No A/C, but it is Morocco. Pretty public area. Nice staff. Ate lunch in the restaurant. The equivalent of 13 USD for three spectacular courses. Certainly worth trying.

Stayed here for two nights. The hotel is charming and in a great location. The room was comfortable. A yummy continental breakfast was served in the morning. The rooms are centered around a courtyard in the middle of the riad. The windows looked out into the hallway - this meant that if the shutters were open anyone walking by could look directly into the room. There are three floors of rooms; no elevator. There is a rooftop terrace that is nice to relax on - there is a partial view of the ocean.

Our second riad in Morocco. If you can try one like this to get that real Moroccan feeling. In a big hotel you have no sense of place, here you know your are in Morocco. The location is perfect right near the Médina, town centre and beach. Excellent value and top staff again. Rooms were enormous.....I think our room on level 1 had the world’s biggest shower. Also check out the Marrakesh plaster on the walls....beautiful.

Our tour group stayed 2 nights here. Location is perfect and very close to the medina. We were lucky and were in room #11. It was a huge bedroom, sitting room, small hallway and large bathroom with tub and shower. Breakfast was okay, not opulent, but the best was the fresh croissants that were served at the table. The cookies served upon arrival with tea were really good; wish they had them out for breakfast too. There are no elevators here so if you have trouble walking up stairs, you might want to think twice. Even our room was up two flights of stairs. Cat lovers will be happy. The hotel was a white cat, but other cats came to visit as the front gate is open during the day. There was a small kitty that kept many of us entertained. Courtyard is very nice. Our tour included music, tapas, and henna our first night in the courtyard. Other guests who could obviously hear our music enjoyed it too.
