We stayed at Riad Watier for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute! Our room (the Watier Suite) was spacious and clean with a private balcony that overlooked the courtyard. Service was impeccable! Everyone we came across was helpful and made our stay memorable. We especially enjoyed talking to Gabriel and enjoyed looking at his collection of rocks that he had found on the beaches of Essaouira. He even gave us a small rock to take home! The breakfasts may have been simple - but they were good, and huge! We are so happy for the time we were able to spend here!

Gabriel has decorated the Riad with beautiful and eclectic art. Definitely take some time to explore the different rooms + library. Breakfast on the rooftop is beautiful with the cool ocean breeze. Room was spacious, although a bit damp. Perfect location close to all the action.

This riad was spectacular - I couldn't recommend a stay here more highly. Gabriel and Fatima not only facilitated a perfect stay for us, but were absolutely lovely people as well. I would stay here just for their great company and the riad itself is beautiful and charming. The riad is a gorgeous facility with beautifully appointed rooms that have everything you could need - water, amazing Moroccan soap, a safe, a blow dryer, and so on, and I'm sure they would provide anything you wanted that if you couldn't find it. The riad is airy and light, overlooking the ocean and rooftops of Essaouira. My room was the Papamar room and I couldn't have been happier - it was nautical-themed and absolutely charming and perfect for my needs. The rooms are spotless and every detail is attended to. I can't emphasize enough how lovely the staff are - the owner Gabriel is a gem and clearly runs the riad with so much care. We were leaving at 3:30am to catch a plane and he graciously insisted on walking us to our taxi at that hour, waking up just to accompany us. That level of attention, care, and charm is present in every detail. I would return to Essaouira in a heartbeat just to be able to stay here again!

I was welcomed by the owner with a friendly smile with the offer of a beer or wine! The place has a cozy living room area, a quaint zen area off to the side, a library nook with multilingual choice of books, and the roof top for breakfast and dinner or just to lounge in the sun, watch the sunset and listen to the waves and the seagulls chatter! Breakfast is simple and if you wish to have dinner you will need to let them know in advance-it’s almost like staying with a friend-in a good way, of course! Friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable large bed and decent bathroom and shower!

we stayed at this riad by chance (suggested by the riad we originally booked but which couldn't confirm the booking due to technical issues) and we found it lovely! our room was big and so  nicely decorated we immediately felt at ease! indeed the whole riad is decorated with a modern moroccan touch, and i'd have loved to spend another night there in order to try their food proposal since the dinner room looks like the place to be/to feel home away from home! breakfast is served on the rooftop, with a nice view - among other rooftops- of the sea (at a certain distance). just be patient, service is quite slow ... but why do hurry in essaouira? definately recommended.
