Although the rooms were not really filthy, they were not clean either. There was a lot of dust/sand everywhere and the bathroom was very primitive, old fashioned and contained some gross spots. There was no Wi-Fi reception in the room, only on the main ground. Only 1 towel, no hotel soaps, .... These points withstanding, the hotel does have it's...

This most centrally located accommodation is a great place to stay while in Essaouira. Do not expect loads of creature comforts but what you do get is a clean comfortable basic room in an atmospheric setting. Having experienced breakfast elsewhere in Morocco I loved the breakfast here. The staff were exceedingly helpful and obliging.

My boyfriend and I were on the inaugural flight from the UK to Essaouira on 1st May. We stayed in Riad Sidi Magdoul for 2 nights. It is located down an alleyway in the centre of the medina (town/marketplace) of Essaouira. Firstly I was nervous about it being down a dark alleyway... but there was no need to be scared!...

First of all if you are going to Essouaria know that the taxis can not drop you off inside the medina. If you are going to any riad or hotel inside the medina you will be dropped off just outside the medina to fend for yourself in the maze of souqs, venders and food stands. **warning** you will get lost...

Very nice staff in this also great riad in the middle of the medina. Still it's quiet, except the BlueSky room at the top because of the seagulls. Breakfast very good, as well the room, i can tell everything was more than OK ! When i should visit again Essaouira, no doubt that i would choose this riad again !!!...

The location was ideal in the centre of the medina. We had a nice warm welcome and chose the room on the terrace because we wanted something quiet. It was quiet (except for some seagulls). The room was basic, clean and secure. Breakfast was nice and a good size. Wifi didn't work on terrace but worked well in the reception...

Nice looking riad with good sized rooms and private bathroom. Pretty clean. Staff are friendly but not overbearing. Relaxed about paying etc. Breakfast is typical of morocco - carbohydrate party with some hot drinks and a juice. good location and great price. This is what it is - not a luxury hotel but good value and comfortable. Big storm when...

We stayed in a double for one night; 250dh. Good price for a riad in the middle of the medina. The owner is really nice. There is not that much atmosphere, with people hanging on the rooftop, but the rest is great!

It was just a little bit difficult to find it because it's located in a small street in the center of medina, between the 2 main streets. So it's perfect to visit Essaouira and the staff has been very nice to us, suggesting a wonderful restaurant for dinner. Nothing to complain about the room: clean, nice and very quite, it...
