The riad is in a good location down an alleyway within Essaouira's medina. The hosts were very friendly and happy to give recommendations about attractions and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. It was particularly nice having a special dish cooked freshly each day to compliment the standard breads, juice, coffee etc. Each day we ate a communal table and...

The owners of the Dar Latigeo are very welcoming and make you feel at home. The rooms are beautifully, traditionally furnished, quiet and clean. In the evening, other guests often gather downstairs, share experiences of Morocco and their own lives, which is very interesting. The Dar is situated in the Medina, so that you can experience true Moroccan life first-hand....

We spent a couple of nights a Dar Latigeo. The place offers what you may expect for the price: a good breakfast (which can be taken at the upper terrace or in the lower flor on a shared table), clean rooms and a helpful owner who made some interesting recommendations for dinner and different day trips. However, we had a...

Me and my friend stayed at Latigeo for 2 nights in October, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. When we arrived they had the room all made up and ready for us, even though it was before check in time. Service was great- George you are great and a good laugh! The breakfast was by far the best we've had in...

- The strong sewage smell was very annoying - The house maid not very nice, no smile there - We were requested to pay in advance, which is very uncommon in Morocco - There is no website, and thus no map - We had a shared bathroom

Before we left we put our luggage on the ground floor to go out for an hour. During that time 800 Dirhams got stolen from one of the bags. Since the Euros were left inside, we figured it must have been one of the house maids. However, delicately addressing this issue to the owner, we never received an answer. To...

À 968121460 You accused us of writing a book that Booking.com has nothing to do with "it's called" stealing money !!! and you want us to answer you fairplay !! To be sure that the money was stolen from the Riad! it had to be checked before leaving the riad, this is the first thing. The second thing! we can...

It is very difficult to figure your way out if it is your first visit as there is no signs to guide you on what way to take. Even maps applications get lost in essaouira's narrow alleys so search "MOHAMED BEN ABDALLAH" street and once there look for the alley that has BOB MUSIC panel on its entrance, the riad...

We stayed 3 nights in the 'honeymoon' or Albatross room in this charming riad - the room was beautiful, with a four poster bed and big window. The bathroom was shared with one other room, and needs a little touching up but was fine for us. The owner of the place, George, was great company and very helpful, allowing us...

Location in Medina, not enticing exteriors, but very nice and traditional interiors... Another good things - tasty and quite a rich breakfast (but not fruit or yoghurt). Kind "boss" George from France. The biggest problem? Shower and toilet not in the room - but Booking.com/owner advertised that!!! Incomprehensible. We are young, but... If we will know that, we will choose...
