It is always a challenge to pick up a hotel where you know your kids will be having a good time, This time, my 4 years old daughter and I decided to go to the famous Mazagan, a few hours drive south of Casablanca, This stay has been an wonderful experience! It all started from check-in, when the reception hall was crowded with people arriving and leaving, Sara has taken the time to explain everything in details, have a little chat with my daughter and even escort me to the grandiose lobby. I had the chance to be greeted there very kindly by Elie Houbeich, the resort manager. Once we had our room, we took-off for a lunch at the Club House, where Mehdi was very nice and patient with us. On our way back we had the amazing opportunity to meet Ms. Najat A. Ghassal, the quality director. She had an instant connexion with my daughter and treated us like family, making our stay arrangements even more delightful. She escorted us to the kids club in order to have us sign up for the activities. There we met, Mr. Mahfoud, who greeted us and made us feel very welcome in this well thought-of space. Think about asking for Jihane if you get there, she made my daughter laugh and didn't have to do much convincing in order to count her in for the activities ! We talked to Mouhsine, Amine, Ezoubir, Anas, Saad and we even had a amazing short demonstration of card tricks with Zakaria, and when I asked, he unfortunately said they didn't accept kids my age there... So I had to settle for a SPA treatment while I had some me time. I was greeted and welcomed there by Zakia, who went throught all the details of the menu, and guided me throughout the steps very professionally and kindly. When I decided to book a massage, I had a great experience with Laila who was my therapist. It was so good that I have a fallen asleep in no time.. The day after, we enjoyed a great breakfast early morning at the market place restaurant, and spent it enjoying the multiple facilities and activities the hotel has to offer. We had lunch at the Beach Barbecue, where you are greeted by the smile and genuine heartfelt welcome from Nezha. If you are lucky enough you could even be served by Mehdi, who was friendly and caring and all of that under the professional eyes of Fouad, At night, around 8pm, we went for a little tour in the lobby, and witnessed the amazing ballet of people coming in and out to the Casino. We had the very unexpected chance to speak with Ms. Houda Ouaziz and to be introduced to Mr. Jacques Claudel, the General Manager, who took the time to chat with us, despite his busy schedule. I can say for certain, that I have seen him inspecting the Market Place early in the morning during our breakfast. It was with heavy hearts that came our check-out time, Amal was very thoughtful and helped us with that, and we left this great place to certainly come back again soon !…
I applaud the management and staff for making my visit to this resort memorable for my family. From when we entered the resort, we were treated with care and love. I was impressed on how the hotel handled guest in the midst of COVID. They wiped down all the bags entering their facility and had hand sanitizer throughout the property. My most memorable moment occurred when the chef personally made my son his favorite oatmeal.
Had the pleasure to book 3 days. had to make some changes to my existing resevarsion plans. pure luck was transfer to Mr. Ossama Dihem. he was very helpful; professional and extremely custom focused by all means!!!.... solution was proposed; deal with it in no time and stress free!!! highly recommended and great staff! over all I had a great experience!
This is a gorgeous resort where the staff is always looking to please everyone. it is a beachfront resort with a lot of amenities including 4x4 quads, zip lining, horseback riding, go carting, and more... the resort is a little far from most metropolitan cities in Morocco however its a great relaxing luxurious getaway spot in an amazing country! highly recommended!!!
Beautiful hotel!! Best part was the gym and the incredible trainers. Gym is fully loaded with the best equipment and incredible views. The trainers Khalid and Morad are the most detonated I’ve ever met at a hotel gym. They help with form, personal training, modifications and help give you the best stretch post workout!!! Would recommend staying here just cause of them!!!
We stayed with the family for a week in April. It’s a beautiful resort - but take into account it’s in the middle of almost nowhere. Meaning every trip outside the resort is a ‘Trip’. The hotel grounds are huge - if you have the high number room; you’ll spend quite a bit of time walking back and forward to the main building. Staff is friendly and helpful. Solved an issue we had to our satisfaction. Housekeeping is fairly responsive considering the size of the hotel & the distance they have to walk to get things from A to B. Rooms are very noisy - you hear all that goes on in the hallway. Also at 6am... Waiter staff isn’t always fluent in English (or French) - so asking for stuff during meals can be messy. The activities they provide are all paid. So the total end bill comes out a bit higher if you want your kids to be outdoor and entertained. Otherwise there’s the kids club (for 11+ y.o. that means Playstation). Tennis courts are badly maintained. Gravel courts. Almost dangerous to play on them unfortunately. I didn’t get to see the golf course; but friends told us they are great. Overal a very comfortable stay.…
I was in this hotel. The hotel are fantastic. But more than everything,it was the night manager YASSIN he is the best of the best. The service that he gave us,and the shine of his face it’s something that will never forget. He is really special man. Thank you yassin. You are number one!!! Asaf
I booked a four night stay on half board basis in March 2022. I was not aware that following the pre-pandemic the resort may lack in occupancy. The sales information had not been updated, as it still offered a choice of 11 exclusive restaurants, including a shuttle service to and from the Airport and hotel. I hasten to add this was not true. There was no shuttle service or the gastronomic experience. There was only a Al'cart choice of two restaurants and had to pay for private transfer to anywhere. During our stay there was only a occupancy of about 20 rooms out of 500. But I totally understand the predicament of the operator due to Covid, everything was upside down to say the least and I therefore do not hold anything against them. However I had paid my fair in full and had expected the same in return. We had decided to dine outside the resort except on our arrival evening. The staff were left to face the music and I would really commend them for making every effort to make our stay comfortable. The staff are the real 5 star here. I would like to mention ABDELLAH BAHOUCHI and MEHDI in the seafood restaurant "Sel de Mer"who were just superb in every sense of the word " hospitality" truly remarkable attention to service. They carried the flag of this resort on their shoulders and would like to express my thanks for their service and kindness to make us feel at home. I would like to return to this resort to truly experience it's magic and to meet these two gentlemen again. My thanks also to Amal and Najib on reception.…
The place is huge … however there is no crowd ) The pools are great, large, you can play or swim .. under the sun or behind the shadow of palm trees. Ocean with privat sunbath is also great … There are also several restaurants that are very good A lot of activities are also provide (golf, kart, …)
Stayed in Mazagan resort for a week in October 2021, had an overall very good impression of the place despite not all services running due to the pandemic and low hotel occupancy. Advantages: - beautiful grounds - very good room/bedroom (we had a family suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 beds for four of us so enough space for all) - staff very kind to children and friendly to adults - enough activities provided to entertain kids for the day - overall good to very good food - good security provisions Disadvantages: - not cheap but that's understandable given maintenance costs of a large building and big grounds - rubbish along the long beach (not directly in front of the hotel) - not impeccable cleaning of the rooms Would recommend this place especially for families with kids.…
