I stayed at Davaa’s camp as part of an organised tour in September 2022. Everything from the Ger accommodation to the food, hospitality and friendliness of Davaa the host and her family and helpers was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect for a quick swim in the lake, lovely hot showers and eco, composting loo’s made this camp and experience a delight. I can’t wait to go back!
Davaa can arrange pretty much any tour you’d like from horse riding to hiking, boat trips to sledging on the ice in winter. A fantastic one stop Mongolian experience including culture, adventure and friendship. Can’t recommend highly enough! Just go! 😁

With a bunch of intrepid explorers, visiting Khovsgol Lake, for a frozen endurance experience, we began and finished at Davaa's wonderful resort. In between she helped to provide one of the most incredible experiences any visitor could have. We camped on the ice, traversed it in multiple different manners (bike, skates, run, hike, horse-drawn sleigh), slept in gers & teepees, ate reindeer stew by roaring fires and witnessed some of the most beautiful, awe-inspiring vistas on the planet.
Davaa's experience and expert knowledge, warmth, hospitality and humour added a whole extra layer to the trip.
She is a true master of her craft and environment and I would whole-heartedly recommend her and her resort to anyone wishing to visit Mongolia and this beautifully unspoilt part of the planet. Truly wonderful.

We really enjoyed our staying in Mongol Ujin Camp. We stayed for one night in really nice ger (in the early morning, when it was very cold, some ladies came to put the fire in our furnace <3 ) and then spent three days with the nomad family, having a beautiful horse trecking on the last day. Dava helped us to organize everything, starting with buying tickets to Hatgal from Ulanbataar (we had some problems with the website :( ), contacting us with the nomads, jeep driver, organizing horse riding. Even though, the whole Camp was fully booked, she let us stay in our tent for the last night. Thanks a lot for everything, Dava, it was great time!

Beautiful gers in an amazing part of the world. I stayed here for a total of three nights as part of a group crossing the length of Lake Khovsgol (Camp Ujin was our pre- and post- event base) and it was an incredible experience. Gorgeous accommodation, great facilities and communal area for dining, entertainment and vodka drinking, and a wonderful Mongolian team that made everyone not just feel welcome, but part of a family. Davaa has created an absolute haven and I very much hope to pay a repeat visit in the future.

Great ger camp run by friendly people. The room was cozy and the food they served was delicious. Just note that they do have an outdoor toilet. A real nomadic experience for a fair price. Close to the lake too!

I am part of a larger group who stayed here for three nights in total as part of a longer Mongolian experience. The service and hospitality was exemplary, with delicious food and comfortable beds in the beautiful, authentic gers. Davaa speaks excellent English and is able to answer all questions. Lake Khovsgol is minutes away. The main ger is beautifully decorated and always very warm.

This is my third time here as part of a group on the Rat Race Mongol 100 traversing the length of Lake Khovsgol from Khank to Khatgal.
As always Davaa is a welcoming and able hostess...nothing is too much trouble for her to arrange.
The gers are cosy and the food exemplary and I am still smiling after a fantastic trip with some really lovely people.
Thanks so much to Davaa and all her crew.

Amazing cosy traditional ger camp near Khatgal town centre. Located within walking distance from the local supermarkets, cafes, Lake Khövsgöl and several hikes. Guests can choose between staying in a Mongolian ger or a wooden cabin. Dava, the owner, is one of the friendliest Mongolians we have met during our trip. She speaks fluent English and can organise all sorts of tailor-made activities and trips in the region and abroad (ice fishing, nomad home stays, festival trips etc). Definitely worth staying if you plan to visit Khatgal. The food at the camp, usually included in the room rate, is also amazing - specially the breakfasts!
