Stayed here about 1 week before and after the tsaatan tour, the main ger decorated very nicely in the traditional way. The host Dava is friendly and helpful, she also took me to the Tsaatan tour as my driver, guide and cook, and she cooks very well. When we came back to Hatgal, she even made a cake for my birthday. The camp ger is quite relaxing, and wifi works in the main ger. Dava's father came to make the fire every morning and night which is very kind. Will stay here again if I go back to hatgol.
price fair with relaxing place. facility also ok but no power socket inside the ger and wifi may weak if too many people using it. seem many people to join their tour and that's why ger not so many people here as they all ran out for days tour. anyway, hot water is good and staff also nice. very basic communication unless the host appear. fair price and fair service. overall is enjoyable.
My husband and I came up here for the Reindeer Festival. Dava, our host, was very friendly and helpful. She answered all communications very quickly, spoke excellent English and was able to arrange airport transfers tours etc with ease. The camp is very clean and comfortable. Our bed in the Ger was very comfortable and the Ger was spacious. Having someone come and light our fire in the evening and then quietly come in again in the early morning was such a great touch. The camp has hot showers with good water pressure also. The large common Ger was very beautiful and had Wi-Fi. Sometimes the wifi could go to our Ger which was a fair way from the common Ger. All the staff were welcoming and made our stay very special. Would definitely return here and thoroughly recommend this Ger Camp to stay at! …
Stopped by here for 3 days after going up north. Such a good place to rest!!! Super clean, really love the common area ger space, design, wifi availability, interior, the warmth! Looks like an unique airbnb. Food always comes in big portion, sleep ger is clean and comfortable, too. Host is also always nice to have a chat with. Recommended to anyone that will come to Lake Khuvsgul 🙂
I stayed here as part of the Mongol 100 Ultra Marathon challenge. I have to sat the hospitality was great, such friendly people who would go out of their way to make sure you had everything you need. Dava and the rest of the staff looked after us so well, not only in the tourist camp but also the wilderness camps out on the lake. I would wholeheartedly recommend a visit here. the scenery is breathtaking, particularly in winter (but it does get very cold ).
