Villas Mon Plaisir is often praised for its festive and welcoming vibe, which guests attribute to the engaging staff and a plethora of activities that cater to families. The hotel's service is consistently lauded for its professionalism and personalized touch. While the rooms are deemed clean and cozy, some visitors feel the bathrooms and ventilation would benefit from modernization. The hotel's overall cleanliness receives commendations; however, areas like the bathrooms have been noted as needing improvement. In terms of value, it is generally seen as affordable, despite a few remarks about certain costly services.

A very pleasant 2-week stay in a human-sized hotel with a simple, family atmosphere that makes it easier to get along with guests. Neat decoration (except for the dated and damaged tablecloths in the restaurant). Most rooms have a view of the swimming pool and coconut trees. The rooms are clean and a good size with a large dressing room (super practical) and air conditioning but the bathrooms need to be renovated (old-fashioned shower cubicle and the bath mats looked a bit like mops...). The hotel is well located on the beach and away from the main road with a magnificent sunset within sight. The young leaders (Owen, Christophe and Marcello) are very friendly, not intrusive and offer activities accessible to all. Thanks to them, you can discover the treasures of Mauritius, on foot and around the hotel. Entertaining evenings offered every evening until 11 p.m. The restaurant waitresses are very pleasant (and I emphasize this because their kindness really touched us) and are available to talk about their life on the island. We had the "all inclusive" formula but we were disappointed by the quality of the lunch meals (especially during the week with only slices of watermelon for dessert, for example). Many customers go for the day and eat out for lunch because it's easy to find good food at low cost. For drinks and bottled water it was great. The weekend meals were more varied and qualitative but this is surely due to the fact that the hotel receives locals for short stays and that there are more guests in the restaurant on the weekend so there is a more varied offering. Taxis are easily available, be careful of fluctuating prices which are always negotiable! If it is possible for us, we will come back with pleasure.

Hotel with 50 rooms - in one day everyone knows each other, it's pretty cool.
Rooms: clean but basic - noisy old air conditioning - bathroom electricity which lights the entrance - TV ok (canal + and netflix) - bedding ok - bathroom linen ok - bathroom ventilation old-fashioned and smell!
All inclusive: perfect and varied cocktails - real drinks (coca fanta beer.) - meals: cooked but repetitive, few choices, ice creams not excellent - few "homemade" desserts
Location: the beach in front of the hotel is complicated for swimming because of rocks and sea urchins
The staff: very friendly, professional - bartender can seem cold but very friendly - all the waitresses are adorable
Swimming pool: very warm water -
Maintained garden
Coralia entertainment: excellent point of this hotel (Christophe, Marcelo and Owen) friendly animated evenings, friendly daytime entertainment (volleyball, pétanque, cocktail classes, etc.)
coralia outings: traditional fishing, Hindu temple, large bay and trou aux biches = always relaxed.
Thanks to Christophe for accompanying us to the medical office for my husband.
For excursions we did with Mico who is opposite the hotel (all day walk to the north and another day to the south) in his minibus - there were 3 of us and it was perfect!!! at our own pace and with a lot of attention from him.
Bus to trou aux biches or grand bay 100m from the hotel
Taxi for the same places - around 22euros for grand bay return

Very good food, varied with seasonal fruits (lychees, mangoes, pineapple walls to point = a treat)
Well dosed cocktails, I recommend the pina colada , excellent.
On an all-inclusive basis, the Coralia club offers us minivan rides in the morning, with a very reasonable bus fare and with a facilitator who comments on the tour. Thank you Deborah for your phlegm and leitmotif at the end of the tours: “any questions?” These outings allow us to get to know the other guests of the hotel.
Coralia hosts are cool.
The hotel also offers us a boat trip with glass bottom, free, in the morning to just take us to the coral reef, in the afternoon to allow us a scuba dive for 1⁄2 hour. If it is windy: no boat exit. The skipper is not very loquacious and did not learn to smile!
The rooms are a little small. To avoid bumping into bed, we put cushions in the corners at the end of the bed. In our room, the hallway light lit up the bathroom at the same time, which was awkward at night, but I understand that this is not the case for all rooms.
This is the sixth time that we have been to Mauritius and it is our best memory, for the atmosphere between the guests, the food, the cocktails, the chatter around the pool , the buses nearby, the outings with Coralia and the boat. And of course, we plan to be able to return there for a future stay.

We stayed at Villas my pleasure, passing through the Coralia club in September 2023
We thank our 3 animators Owen, Christophe and Marcello for their welcome, their good humor on a daily basis and the entertainment they offered us.
A big thank you also to Richemond and Émilie for their helpfulness.
The hotel itself does not meet the level of services presented on the reservation: the All In is more of a full board than an All In, no sea view room as sold on the reservation, room not soundproofed and the view behind the rooms deserves a good cleaning, meals not very varied, no snacks during the day so nothing to eat between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and nothing between 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The swimming pool is not often clean…
Too bad because the geographical location is really nice.

We had our honeymoon in this establishment which is just perfect in every way.
Warm, welcoming, top notch staff, a superb atmosphere.
A big thank you to the animators Christophe, Owen and Marcello, you are great.
A big thank you to the waitresses Rose and Emilie and the others for your kindness and your little touches.
A big thank you to Richemont for his service at the bar but also to his songs which stay in our heads even in France.
A big thank you to the masseuse who has magical fingers.
A big thank you to everyone for this perfect stay which introduced us to some very beautiful people.
The hotel is well located, beach nearby, bus stop nearby, small shops nearby.
Just be careful, when you arrive you will have a meeting with the company Kreola (Nadine) for the excursions, the excursions are super expensive and of poor quality, you have to pay in advance and impossible to cancel in case of bad weather get out of the hotel and you will find other much cheaper.

I highly recommend this hotel to people looking for a warm and family atmosphere (even when full, it is not crowded because there are only 40 rooms). We wanted a place on a human scale, and we were satisfied.
Very warm welcome and support from all the staff: Richemont and the bar team, all the people serving the restaurant, the entertainment team: Christophe, Owen and Marcello, and Vicky who maintained our maintenance. room (always perfect).
Our rooms were pleasant, bright and very clean.
The only downside was that we did not appreciate the approach of the person who offers the excursions at the hotel (Nadine - external service provider in contract with the hotel I imagine): authoritarian, does not give many details and above all, after comparison, twice as expensive as what is practiced outside.
We will happily return to this hotel.

Pleasant 2 week stay. Thanks to the 3 really top entertainers, Christophe, Marcello, Owen, as well as the 4 always smiling waitresses Lata, Devina, Rose and Émilie as well as the cleaning lady Simla and Viki who we worked with. On the other hand, a small downside regarding the catering. As for us, we opted for All Inclusive. That is to say breakfast buffet.. Fixed menu lunch served at the table.. Buffet dinner. As for us, we were served this way the first 2 days. On the 3rd day we were asked to serve ourselves at the lunch and dinner buffet, which was not provided for in the contract. So we went to complain to management and everything came back to normal, telling us not to disclose it to other customers. We were 4 people involved. I think this is dishonesty on the part of management.
I also take this opportunity to point out that the buffets need to be renewed because it's always the same thing... after 2 weeks we get tired of them... V

You want to relax, sing, dance, make friends with the locals and vacationers of all generations, then settle down at Villas Mon Plaisir, 20 steps from the beach, without forgetting your shoes to go into the sea.
Small hotel where all the staff are very friendly, I won't mention anyone because I don't have all the first names and everyone deserves to be mentioned 😀
You are at the foot of the bus stop to take you without fear to the magnificent beaches of Trou aux biches, Grand Baies... and perhaps meet locals who will help you discover unusual places on this island.
Even if you are on All Inclusive, don't hesitate to eat outside the hotel at lunchtime because it is good but not varied, you will make up for it in the evening...
Good WiFi coverage, simple, clean room decoration and comfortable mattresses.

We arrived on October 19 for our first trip to Mauritius. And we chose villas my pleasure. Beautiful hotel at the top, welcoming and warm staff. Small complex with 40 rooms, we didn't want more.
A group of wonderful entertainers (Owen, Marcello and the manager Christophe, 3 top young men)
The service staff takes care of us (a Richmond waiter, bartender and room driver, singer, musicians and sometimes dancer....)
Emilie my little darling🤣 a rare gem, I hope the boss realizes that.....
And all the rest of the staff too, we don't create affinities with everyone in 15 days but you are all wonderful.
You have to try the massages, this lady has magical fingers.
I could write about it ✍️ for pages and pages...
This place is paradise on 🌎 and we met some great people there. We returned as teenagers to this establishment which has summer camp areas. We are sad to have left you all but we will come back and this time with our children.

During my one week stay,I have never faced any kind of safety issue. But,I heard it is not good to go around after dark if you don't have a car.Actually this was told to us. Otherwise it is pretty good place to visit and you will not face any problem unless you are super explorer.
