We have experienced bad customer service been there in 2016 with a group of families. The rooms were not clean, toilets and bathrooms smell bad. There was a lady in the front office who had no manners at all. Very bad experience

The place is nice with a direct view on the sea. I love those private balconies. The natural green environment makes the De Conti hotel a good place for a cut off from the daily routine stress. God also for a family with children

the receptionist guy was overwhelmingly friendly and too was the taxi guy outside the hotel, rooms are generally clean with an overview of the great Mauritius plain, a very low cost hotels and will best suit for an official trip rather than a holiday destination, the swimming pool was put too much chlorine so i had red eyes for my 4 nights there lol, food was standard and beverages too, nothing too spectacular.

Staying in this Hotel for last week-end with my husband. The good points : The room is very spacious. Good location. Good price. The receptionist (sorry forgot your name man!) and the lady from the restaurant were helpful, kind and nice. Negative points: Excuse me, but the shower and toilet need some deep cleaning. The ustensils , napkins in the restaurant and even the pool surrounding need to be cleaned. We are not difficult guests, but I think these things need really to be improved.

Arrived at De Conti mid afternoon on a Wednesday Have some mobility problems and had requested assistance at Airports Travelling solo a single room was confirmed for me On arrival I was given a king size bed on the ground floor as they had noticed I had mobility problems. It was kept immaculately clean for my two week stay' The staff were very helpful and Bethina the Manageress could not do enough for me through out my stay' Hotel was fairly quiet during week but very busy at weekends' Meals being Buffet style then. There was always plenty of food for everyone with no restriction on second helpings During the week Bethina wold cook virtually whatever guests wanted except pork dishes. Some nights she was preparing and cooking three different meals. All the staff could not do enough to make my stay comfortable and a happy one. Only minus is near by beach but there is a bus stop outside and for 12 Rupees you can travel 5mins to a sandy one. Would I go again you bet. It is fantastic value for money. This comes from an ex Travel Agent who is very well travelled. It is not plush but a lovely homely Hotel.

Excellent experience for value and service.Personal assistance was freely given by the hotel staff after my wife had an unfortunate foot injury while on a catamaran trip. The staff could not do enough to help, bringing meals to our room when we were unable to get to the dining room. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet get away, with friendly staff.

Went for one night with friends, booked 3 rooms. The hotel has undergone much renovations recently, and the pictures on trip advisor posted by other members are now obsolete. The rooms are clean and the bed is very large and comfortable. It is a low cost hotel, or rather a bungalow with food service. The bathroom is clean. The basic is there (Towel and Soap). There is a little fridge in the room which is handy if you buy drinks in nearby shops and supermarkets. We went for the all inclusive, food was very mauritian and traditional, and loved it! We had a chicken Kalia for lunch on sunday, it was a marvel! Saturday night there was a DJ and part of the restaurant turned into a dance floor with fancy lights etc.. after dinner. It is not a resort, but a small hotel, where one should not expect all the fancy that big resorts provide. Be kind to the staff, and they will return the favour to you. Parwez

Have been to de conti several times but the last stay is definitely going to be my LAST ONE! the situation at the hotel has deteriorated in all aspects. The food is just terrible, with hardly any variety. on top of that, for lunch we had only macaroni and fried rice! my husband was even very rudely reprimanded as he had dared to take a helping of both the dishes! if you serve yourself some macaroni, you are not allowed to take fried rice as well!! unheard of!!! The room was so unkept and smelly, with the ac not working at all. we had to change rooms three times!! staff is so unprofessional and even ill mannered! Except of course for Ashish, who is a sweetheart. Ashish and the pool (although small) are the only positive traits of the hotel, otherwise do not even think of having a stay at this hotel, especially if u r a Mauritian! my husband and I kept consoling disappointed mauritians who checked in at the hotel after us! do not be fooled by the cheap price, it's not worth it anymore!

Went there with families. My aunty fell as the pool shower wasn't safe. My little cousin drank in a broken glass. The rooms smelled of poo and had to ask for air freshner. The food was just what you eat at home when you are tired and bored. Very small swimming pool. Staff not professional and unexperienced. Very hostile. No activities and no entertainment. They lie a lot on the brochure and at the reception. It's not a proper hotel. No baked beans and sausages at breakfast. Oily cakes for lunch. Not recommended.
