1. We did not have a proper guidance with Hotel facilities and how the day will be etc, when I came only Mr Manoj greet me and the Front office Lady. 2. Manoj told me that someone Patrick will brief me, he roughly explain me a bit and then disappeared suddenly. 3. I had to call Mr Manoj for assistance. 4. We spoke regarding a mini conference, I remembered that we talked regarding a white background for projection, you told me yes it should be good. 5. We brought our projector and laptops but in vain we could not project anything as the IT guy also got disappear. 6. Some chairs were super dirty and even the table at the conference area. I have already share the pics on WhatsApp but you never bother reply me back. 7. After the conference at around 11.30, we are at the bar. There was only 1 bar man and after 10 mins beers were finished. 8. I had to call Mr Manoj to asked him to cater for my partners, then 3 people came. 9. For the price we paid it was not VALUE for money as the food variety was super little around 10 only and chicken were mostly not present only FISH etc. 10. The plates served were dirty with black spot on it, when I told to the waiters they told me its NORMAL.

First of all we had a great holiday and Mauritius is lovely. However the hotel was at the worse end of things unfortunately. Not so bad that it was a massive problem but it’s a 3 star experience overall. First the good. The grounds of the hotel are lovely to walk around. Views of the sea with sunset are great, nice to look out to from the loungers. Games room is fun. Staff are mostly polite and nice. Room was great. Great view of sea and kept clean throughout. The location is good as it’s central on the island so you can travel north or south more easily. The beach is ok, not much on the beach itself but I’d suggest to wander around the roads that run adjacent as there are some good restaurants there for a break from the all inclusive hotel options. Good snorkelling areas around including a rock pool, which I used more than the main pool. They also let us check out late without a fee which was great. The bad. In a nutshell there aren’t enough staff. There’s a number of ways this effected out stay here. For example, glasses do not get cleared during the day and night. See photos. Glasses would be left out overnight, piling up around the pool side. When you come to a lounger in the morning, the tables would all be full of last nights dirty glasses and you either have to clear them yourself or you don’t use the table and are left looking at them, along with some flies. Not enough bar staff so you could wait up to 10 minutes to be served. Sometimes we skipped a drink as we didn’t want to wait so long. Often during food servings we would have to try really hard to get someones attention for a drink. One night we were 25 minutes into dinner with no drink on our table as no one had come by. We had to walk around the restaurant to get someone’s attention. We started to order double drinks when we sat down as it was not always certain we would be refilled or checked if we wanted a second drink. Darshan who worked there was excellent though! Very attentive. Before arrival I emailed the hotel twice. Once through direct email on their site and once through their contact form. No reply at all. We Checked in after check in time and it took 30 minutes after arrival to be inside our room, after waiting for a while with no idea when we were going to attended to. We did arrive during a public holiday though and this was the busiest we ever saw the hotel so maybe just bad timing. The bags then took an additional 30 minutes after we got into the room so we were just sat waiting for them (as everything was in our bags). Upon arrival we noticed our room was an attached room to next door. But both doors were left unlocked so we could just walk into the next room (which had guests in). Within 24 hours we told the reception 4 times - face to face, over the phone, the housekeeper and then our rep who visited us on day 2, who also told reception. A week later we could still just walk into the next room and no one ever updated us on it. We gave up. Also our balcony door had a broken lock which we also reported. No one came to look at it. The area is safe but still. First morning we went to the pool, despite the towel place being open at 9 (as well as the pool), they didn’t have any towels until 10. We kept the towels the rest of the time so didn’t have to wait for future days. On the last day we wanted a fresh pair of towels and again we were told we needed to wait 30 minutes for new towels. This was at 10am. I’ve never had a hotel towel place not have towels two times out of two. Also something really odd and was probably the biggest issue. Along the sea front there about about 30 fixed umbrella areas, enough space for about 60 people to lay shaded from the sun. But only about 8 actual loungers. See photo for all the empty space. So once 8 people had taken them, despite the area being almost empty, you were out of luck of being able to lay there so had nowhere to go. This was always our preferred spot which some times we couldn't get, despite the space. So strange. On the last day the only loungers free were by the other smaller pool so we were at the wrong end all day and had to walk across the hotel grounds to get to the pool we wanted. So overall I can’t recommend this place as it was hard to really relax due to dirty glasses being left out, not enough loungers, lack of pool towels (how is that so hard!?), long wait times for drinks and having to get people attention for drinks. If these can be fixed (and they are all easy fixes, either by training or more staff) this hotel has promise.

Great hotel -100% recommended I never thought that there was such a hotel in Flic en Flac. Friendly and welcoming staff (reception team, Ajay and his team, niraj bartender, sirouven etc) despite being overloaded they took good care of us. I did my wedding proposal at Anelia and it was a success. Ajay was there since my arrival, helped us in preparing this event. Food is great, variety of non veg food. Waiting for the burger bar by the infinity pool to be opened. It will reduce the crowdess at the bar.

We reserved 10 rooms there with all my family, rooms beautiful, very clean, all staff very helpful and Anna thank u, u always smile and treat client very well , food very good, this hotel give u late check out this is very good at least they do khow how time flies quickly so having late check out from this hotel is much appreciated, only 2 things that need to be done quickly is the Tv in room nothing u can watch, should have channels and more barman and give beach boy to served drinks because u have only 1 bar, so this is not a critic but should consider this sevice to be perfect, overwise ANELIA RESORT AND SPA HOTEL is a very good hotel for sure u will keep yr smile when checkout
