Erm… ok Location 10/10 Room comfort 5/10 - aircon great - shower mixer either hot or cold - bathroom cleanliness could be better (a good scrub of the tiles/fixtures and fittings rather than a quick wipe around is needed. - bed was comfy no issues sleeping. - not to many insects for a tropical climate which was a surprise - we had numerous issues with the electric tripping in the room and had to get them out to reset the trip switch. This wasn’t great especially if you had been out most the day baking and get back to a hot and humid room due the aircon being off. This got so bad that I went to investigate this myself after reporting a faulty socket next to the bed. I found the consumer unit outside and ended up resetting it myself as I was fed up with going to reception. I was bit shocked to discover the consumer unit had no cover on this and open to the elements. You will see from the photos uploaded. Food 4/10 - Booked this hotel not planning to eat there but as it was paid for we thought we would give it a go (three times) - Breakfast is served 0730-930 and very basic. Very little on offer in terms of fruits. A lot of apple? They offer a small amount of cooked breakfast that is not great. But again edible (they give you an option of omelette with cheese and the cheese is like a cheese spread you had as a child, the eggs also tastes like they had been cooked in the same pan as the spicy meat from the night before.) There’s a small selection of very dry croissant’s/pan au chocolates these are tiny and overcooked and not refreshed through the service. Cereals are available but there’s no milk on the island so it’s powdered milk. Not for us this one. The bread they put out is fresh but no toast is available. There are jam, honey and yoghurts If you have an early trip out booked you can request an early breakfast but I don’t know what this consists of. Lunch - We were not around for lunch, but at breakfast they ask what you would like and present you with a menu that has two options on it. Dinner - either buffet or two options from a menu. The variation on the menu was minimal for the duration of the stay as we checked daily out of interest. The restaurant setting - the linen wasn’t changed for the entire stay so stains were present - The aircon wasn’t on during breakfast so a little uncomfortable Overall the food was edible and we didn’t get ill We didn’t use the pool as the beach is just across the road. The towels were changed daily and bedding every other day. The room was swept and mopped daily The bar offered a good range of drinks in reception but all inclusive doesn’t cover the main bar. Drinks were inclusive 10am to 2230hrs and there are no snacks throughout the day. I have tried to be objective in this review as there is minimal information available when researching. Knowing what I know now I would definitely have booked an apartment privately on the beach. However, I wouldn’t put anyone off staying here. Just be aware when booking what you are getting for your money. If you will eat anything then you will be ok here. If not and looking for a good base and somewhere to crash and have the odd drink this is ok… The do offer a late checkout for 1000rs

A relaxed friendly hotel with an excellent location to the beach across the road, restaurants and bars very close by if you don't want to eat in the hotel. Lively nightlife on Fridays and Saturdays hence outside music can be heard. If you are looking for 5 star luxury then please pick a 5* and don't be unfair. Small pool on the grounds if you are not a beach person. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and do anything to help you. Myself and my friend had a great time there & will be returning there soon.

I am currently staying at Manisa and it is fine. My room is on the end of the garden, very calm. Beautiful garden and very kind an friedly staff. Ok, food there is no such a big buffet like at Egypt, Greece etc., but it is tasty.

The facilities/rooms are actually ok - and the breakfast too. BUT there is a big issue with noise ind the evening and nighttime. At the Seaview rooms, there is the main road just outside with loud traffic and a sports bar/disco just underneath and the music/bass you will hear almost all night. We changed room - but just beside the hotel there is this facility that holds buffet with live music until late - and at the hotel there is a conference room, where people have their parties (birthday and whatever). Nobody is getting off from the heavy noise - so if you want a good night sleep on you vacation- do not choose manisa hotel.

Worst hotel ever. Got shown our room. First disaster. Shower was filthy. Windows have iron bars on them looking out to a dump. Thought it was normal A/I. At breakfast asked what we wanted for lunch. 1 choice of starter. 2 choices of main. Food was disgusting. Honestly I'm not too fussy but do not book here. I saw bad reviews and thought maybe too fussy. No they were right. Whole place is filthy and should be condemned. Moved to another hotel after 1 day stay. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL

We just came home from 7 days at Manisa. And we did NOT want to go home again. This hotel has the PERFECT location in Flic en Flac/Mauritius. Flic en Flac is the best area to stay in, if you want to exeperience Mauritius, and the hotel is so excellently located. Central, and just cross the road, and you are on the beach, in the area where most things are happening. You can snorkel directly from the perfect beach which has the nicest sunsets every day. Many excellent restaurants within 3 minutes of walking. I was expecting not so great breakfast, reading the reviews. Me and my daughter was VERY happy about. Simple, but it had what we needed. Juice, thea/coffee, bread, fruits, pancakes(!), croissants and so on. And everyday a waiter came and asked if we wanted sometihg extra (for free). like egg made in many ways, bacon, sausages. Everybody at the hotel was SO nice and helpfull. One of the greatest things for my daughter was the about 10 cats that lived there (buy a pack of cat food and your kids will have so much fun with this). Yes, do expect some noise, it is centrally located. Yes, the hotel is not TOP class, some would find breakfast lacking and so on. But if you want good value for the money, then look no further! I especially reccommend if for families and younger people. Saw many older ones too. And I do recommend this hotel if you want to go around and experience things on Mauritius. Other hotels in the area cost twice as much, at least! And they will be too far away from shopping and restaurtants, and nice everning strolls. It was like living in palm garden with flowers, pool, cats and birds. So lovely.

Good value for money, apart from really loud music all night Friday and Saturday, so you can forget sleeping. Breakfast was also a disappointment. Rooms are clean and the people are very nice. Just not the place to go for peace and quiet sorry to say.

Well located hotel. Rooms are set around a swimming pool and garden. Perfect place to stay in Flick & Flack. Tiny fridge, no kitchen. Close to a variety of restaurants. Across the road from the beach. Can recommend the day out on a boat. Saw dolphins, snorkled and was fed lunch on an island.
