We visited this resort last month as part of our honeymoon and we were not disappointed at all! We have nothing but praise for the people of Mauritius who are possibly the most friendliest people we have ever met. This hospitality extended out into the staff at the resort who were always happy to help. My wife is deaf and so they would take extra steps to be able to communicate with her directly which meant a lot to both of us.
The hotel has a private beach which was always kept clean and maintained daily. In the mornings during breakfast there was a gentleman cleaning to swimming pool so we knew cleanliness was a top priority at this accommodation. The location is good, the nearest shops are about a 25-30 min walk if you fancy a stroll or there always taxis outside of the resort.
There was a variety of food every night at dinner with different themes and cuisines such as , French, Italian, Indian and Mauritian. Both me and my wife are vegetarian and so the chef would make extra options for vegetarian food to accommodate this. In the evenings during dinner, the staff would always ensure that we were comfortable and the hotel manager would come around to speak to the guests to ensure everything was in order with our stay which added a very homely touch to the service (in most hotels/resorts you never really get to meet the manager). The breakfast had great variety too and included hot breakfasts with pancakes, waffles etc. We were fortunate enough to witness the celebrations for Mauritius independence day which included raising the Mauritian flag and an evening of entertainment.
The level of service is something that we are not used being from the UK, all staff were attentive, accommodating and respectful in all circumstances. The boat house staff were patient with me and my wife as it was our first time snorkeling and the Ashvin took us out into the sea to practice snorkeling ensuring our safety at all times before heading out with a group of people. The water activities were apart of the stay and you could experience the activity daily, this included peddle boat, kayaking, glass floor bottom and snorkeling.
We would recommend it 100%. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that were enjoying our trip.

We stayed for the first time on this island and we chose this hotel, because a few years ago our friends stayed at the sister hotel So Sofitel were they were very happy.
My friend was talking all the time about special design and comfortable beds and they really were very comfortable.
What left the biggest impression on us was the head chef Mr. Raj, at restaurant Ravinalla and his team.
They put so many efforts and they gave lot of love while explaining each recepie during our stay.
Food was just excellent, satisfying all the senses of taste and smell.
I have a special diet that includes gluten-free foods and lactose-free foods.
Gluten-free bread and a million magical and unforgettable flavors awaited me every morning and evening.
Chef Raj, please move to EU 🙏
All the staff were extremely kind.
Especially the ladies who were in charge of maintaining cleanliness in our room. Minta's team was special and dear lady Simla.
The only bad thing about this beautiful resort was the beach, which is less beautiful than in other parts of the island.
For those who prefer a swimming pool, this hotel is a great choice because the garden is magical.
The wonderful thing is that all sports activities are completely free.
What, in my opinion, spoiled the holiday a bit was forcing the wearing of masks at plus 30 degrees, and especially at a time when almost the whole world abolished all measures.
Everywhere on the tables is a gel that says clean is new chic.
That leaves me with the idea to think, as if before everything in the hotel was dirty, and now because of the pandemic it has to be clean.
Measuring the temperature every morning and forcing the wearing of masks constantly reminded us of the danger and that made the rest of our holidays unfortunately tiring.
The most important part was that the rooms were ready upon our arrival even though the flight was very early in the morning and of course even better that we could stay in the room until five in the afternoon on the last day of departure.
We are physically in Belgrade, Serbia, but in our minds we are still on this island which is a real paradise!

We booked 3 superior room and a family suite.
Very slow check-in formality, we were eleven people having to do the PCR test. This was requested by the hotel policy despite being vaccinated guests and at that time only 1 lady was doing the test. It took us around one hour for the check-in procedure.
Dine at Ravinala Restaurant, seafood was good as family members enjoyed the grill fish the most.
The kids club is great, the lady there was so friendly and my daughter loved the swing in the kids club garden as well as the tree house.

We went as a group of 13 members (5kids)to this resort in jan from India .The worst part was last day of checking out. They provided drinking water for room the previous day of checking out and they denied to give water for rooms on day of checking out. Room service people made us wait for 2 hrs and later forced us to buy water bottles from restaurent which is quiet expensive .

Had a lovely week at this hotel. Beautiful location, wide choice of food, immediate beach access, lucky to be granted an excellent sunset view - though the mauritian flying foxes fascinated me more, rooms maintained twice a day. Nothing was any trouble if asked for and kindly prepared a honeymoon gift.

Resort itself is excellent. Two pools with one being a ‘quiet’ pool - just perfect for us. Didn’t use any of the water sports available as the snorkelling trips were fully booked 🙄 Maybe some consideration should be given to those guests only staying a few nights so they get to go snorkelling too?!
Room was lovely with pool/sea view although no upgrade for an Accor Gold member. Nice touch in the hotel with drinking water dispensers 👍
Struggled with the dining options as we’re not keen on buffets which only left the Chinese and Japanese for dinner. Visited the Chinese on the first night and all okay. Booked the Japanese for the next night only to find it is within the same restaurant & they had just booked us the Chinese again. Ended up at the buffet that might which was doable but not our first choice.
Our complimentary Accor welcome drink in the bar was served by the most miserable waitress on earth! Accounting music was good though but we did go down to the beach bar where there was a wedding and sat on the sidelines!
All in all we enjoyed our stay and would return if back in Mauritius 😬

Completely amazed with their hospitality & magical approach with customers. We wud like 2 Thk Mr parvesh who’s always very welcoming towards his guests. He not only makes sure 2 meet customer’s expectations but also try 2 provide a proper follow up 2 ensure customers are enjoying their stay at the hotel. Ming court is our 1st choice in the whole world I must say!! Whenever we go there, we never order our food koz we trust them so much on knowing our taste that we leave everything on them. Thk u so much Mr Ajay 4 being an exceptional person!!
Mrs Brigitte and deepa have also been so welcoming, attentive n loving towards the kids. They have been very helpful towards us assuring us that the kids will b perfect at the mini club ❤️

We enjoyed staying at this hotel over Christmas and New Year but what made the stay so much better was the amazing service provided by all of the staff.
We had rooms that had been recently renovated and were reasonably sized. The pool areas appear well maintained, especially the adults only Flamboyant one. There were a number of restaurants on site which offered a good choice of food - all of which were very good. The gala dinners on NYE & Xmas eve were amazing - a tribute to both the food but also the service from all the staff.
As I said above, this is a good hotel, but the staff make it a great one. I have to mention Vishal, Manish, Nowsheela & Lucie from the bars, Vishal, Pravind & Kooshal from the restaurants & Akshay in reception. There were so many more to mention as well that I have forgotten the names of.

Our team building event on 01 October (first day of reopening) was a success. The team led by Jeffry went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. The staff is a credit to the brand and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food as well as the rooms were excellent!

We, two sisters and two 11 and 14 years old kids, stayed for two weeks in deluxe rooms. We had rooms with a connecting door, so that we had enough privacy, but were still close to the kids. We hadn’t the recently renovated rooms, but also the old ones are really nice and well equipped. You have plenty of space for all your luggage , a walk-in wardrobe, a big shower, bathtub and 2 sinks. There is a sofa, where a third person could sleep, a desk and fridge.
We booked half board and the food variety and quantity was great, very friendly cooks at the life cooking stations, a special thanks to Sham B. who had always a smile for us and explained the delicious dishes. Although the hotel was fully booked, the waiters always did their very best, to find a nice table for us, according to our preferences.
The bars were very well equipped with very kind waiters. Our favorite bar tender was with no doubt Vishal, he was the most kind, friendly and helpful person, we’ve ever met. He took care of us whenever he was around and made us very happy. We felt treated like VIPs. He is doing an absolutely outstanding job. We will definitely miss him!!
The gym was located in the garden, when the big windows were open, we had a beautiful view. Thanks to François, who supported us a lot.
We did also use the Spa, although the Spa was very well booked, the Spa manager Ingrid always found slots suiting to our schedule. A special thanks also from Julia to Georgina, she is a lovely and gorgeous person and very good in all kind of treatments (massage, pedicure/manicure, nail arts) it was a pleasure to meet her.
The beach area is very nice with a lot of sun beds and stunning sunsets to watch. The adults pool area is beautiful, the other pool is also nice, but at this time of the year, the pool water was very cold, because this pool is not heatable.

Hi Iasi 😀…. we booked a luxury room … the view from bed to bath could be “blocked” with 3 wooden sliding parts …. to our state of knowledge in magnifique rooms a compareable “white, wooden sliding door system” enables a quite good privacy in the bathroom.
