No cleanliness, dirty and cloudy pool, no breakfast was provided. Not welcoming staff. Dirty bathroom. I would highly discourage mauritians and tourists. The baby cribs are not frequently cleaned. Lots of noise at night.
Having a young family, we wanted a quiet and spacious place where we could feel at home. It was perfectly designed with a great concept with family oriented in mind. The villa was well maintained : there was a cleaning lady every single day. The restaurant team was always helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and I loved the breakfast every morning. The landlords were always here to talk to and ask if all is going on well. The villa was the best you could have with all the details being taken care, fresh towels everyday, shower gel, the utensils and the palm trees ..there was a cactus tree as well...without forgetting the private swimming pool. Lovely frangipani flowers were in bloom and balmy air in the evening, which made us cut off from the real world. It is an exquisite place with sublime views and location wise, there are few shops around if you would like to make your own food in the villa. The public beach was few minutes away. It was such a relaxing place to be.…
Really nice place, nice property, nice proprietar, nice staff, clean, really good food in the restaurant, cheapest in this zone, value for money, well situated, 300 meters from one o the best seaside in belle mare
Spacious house, private pool. Space for parking and nicely seperated from the other villas with tropical plants. Rooms ok, air conditionned. Unfortunately no air-con downstairs. Prices of meals in restaurant quite expensive, preferable to have food bought in the nearby village
My husband and I have just returned from a fortnight's great holiday at Orchid Villas. The villa was 'no frills' accommodation, but spacious, clean and with a private pool. The villa and pool were cleaned every day and the sheets changed regularly. The aircon in the bedrooms works very well and we slept well, the beds being very comfortable. Best of all we enjoyed the food in the 'Seasons' restaurant which is on site and we ate there every day. The public beach which is just 5-10 minutes walk is lovely, but by walking along the beach to the South about 20 minutes you come to the beaches at Palmar and they are stunningly beautiful and much quieter, because there are no big hotels nearby. We hired a taxi to take a guided tour of the tourist hot spots in the South of the island (Christie, the security man will be happy to arrange it) and we also hired a car for a few days (Avish, in the restaurant sorted that out for us). Breakfast was cereal, fresh fruit salad, omelettes (delicious, thin ones), baked beans, sometimes fried potatoes, pancakes, toast, tea, coffee and fresh juice. I would recommend Orchid Villas for anyone who wants a quiet holiday in a lovely place.…
