My first visit to this resort hotel and the experience was wonderful. Room size and room amenities were excellent. I have one suggestion for the room. Have USB ports in your rooms. This resort has a long beach area. You do not feel crowded on the beach at all. Guests can enjoy a number of water sports at this resort. My package included complimentary golf at Ile Aux Cerf and Anahita. The hotel arranged transfers to these courses. My favourite dining place was the Italian Restaurant. Overall the food was excellent. Staff makes your holiday experience even better. Here I must compliment Chef Sunil and Chef Geerish Gunness. They went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. In particular, Chef Sunil is a wonderful asset to this hotel. Overall, the staff were excellent. The lady that attended to our room during our stay was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel. A great experience awaits you.

An lovely spacious first floor room although a little far from the main complex, the sea view was limited but overall a very nice place to stay. The pool bar and staff especially Sachin provided an unbelievable service. Shores Bar was good for evening entertainment, Tides restaurant our favourite, although the Sapori buffet was very close behind with excellent variety and quality of food. The beach location is near perfect. The spa is well worth a visit, fantastic massage, lovely setting

My husband and I have had a wonderful holiday at the Long Beach Hotel, this is a wonderful resort with a beautiful beach choice of a large family pool or a more intimate adults only pool. The food has been amazing during our 8 night stay we've managed to eat in all the restaurants, highlights including delicious food and service at Chopsticks and Hasu. Although this is an all inclusive resort the lunchtime options are more al-carte although the service at Tides is a bit slow and needs to improve however Sapori the Italian always hits the mark. There are several activities by the pool and beach to enjoy and Alisha kept excellent care of us topping us up with drinks throughout the day. Kaushal in the Shores bar is an asset to Long Beach hotel, a genuine lovely person who again displayed excellent 5 star service. The breakfast and dinner buffet in Le Marche were delish lots of options at dinner including amazing desserts, fresh salads and live cooking stations for meat and fish. Samia took excellent care of us from day 1. It was nice to see Raj the new manager walking the ground asking for feedback and seeing changes day on day. We had an amazing couple massage- Kamile and Vish worked their magic. I wouldn't say this is a 5 star resort however a solid 4 star - if you're looking for a break I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Long Beach Hotel a true representation of Mauritian hospitality, amazing food and facilities! P.S I suggest management look at full sized mirrors and irons in the room.

In short, this holiday was perfect and massively exceeded our expectations - even though they were high after seeing the hotel on the website! The hotel, beach, rooms and food were brilliant as well as the impeccable service. Check-In and COVID testing Upon our arrival at Long Beach, we were pleasantly greeted and shown through to the gorgeous reception area to complete our check-in. As this trip was during the pandemic (November 2021 after the hotel reopened in October 2021), we had to have a lateral flow test upon arrival (we are double vaccinated), this was carried out at the hotel at no extra charge and within half an hour of arriving at the hotel we were entering our rooms knowing we (and all those other hotel guests) had tested negative. We also had to take a lateral flow test on day 5 as per Mauritian government requirements. We were extremely pleased to find out that we had been upgraded to a Junior Suite with Pool Access, the room was spacious with a massive bathroom and a gorgeous outlook. Our whole stay we felt very comfortable in our room and loved how easy it was to access the pool and the beach! Our aircon played up a couple of times on our trip but this was quickly sorted by maintenance, testament to top service across all members of the Long Beach staff! Food and Drink (All inclusive) On our first night we ate at the buffet restaurant (Le Marche), the food was very fresh especially considering it was buffet style and included live stations which meant there was a whole variety of options to choose from. We only had two dinners at Le Marche, booking the a la carte restaurants for the remainder of our stay. Our other meals at Le Marche were the daily breakfast, however we always sat in Sapori. Again, what a spread, from cooked breakfasts and live egg station to fresh fruit and a crepe station, there was everything! There were also daily fresh juices - the orange juice was especially lovely! The service at breakfast was always great, special mention to Yousrah who looked after us everyday, made the service so personal with a smile to greet us always and made the best iced coffees! We were very sad to say thank you and goodbye to Yousrah on our last day, she made every meal that she served us wonderful. Tides Bar and Restaurant were also great, the cocktails (and mocktails) were consistently delicious and there was a great selection. Our favourites were the Ti Punch and Vanilla Swell - we are missing these already and are going to try and recreate them at home! Again service was also second to none, including the beach drinks service from Oliver and Davish, and restaurant service from Isan who also gave us some great recommendations for choices at Hasu, having been restaurant manager there before. Chopsticks was only open the first half of our trip but we managed to go there twice, the food was very authentic and there were such great options. The sweet and sour squid and the crunchy chicken salad were favourites! We went to Sapori a number of times for lunch and for dinner and cannot speak more highly of the exceptional food and service we received. At lunch the Arrabiata was the best we’ve had anywhere along with the Petto di Pollo. At dinner the Burrata and Beef Carpaccio deserve a round of applause, delicious! Mugan was especially welcoming and ensured we were able to sit in our favourite outside spot whenever we had dinner there. And last but not least Hasu...wow! Quite rightly so this is the top Japanese restaurant on the island of Mauritius and definitely deserves that title! The Sushi we ate here rivals the Sushi we have had at top London Japanese restaurants, particularly the Spicy Tuna Maki, Salmon Teriyaki Sashimi and Tempura Maki. A special shoutout to Ritesh, our waiter at Hasu who was so friendly and provided absolutely top service! Shores Bar was also a great spot for an afternoon cocktail or after dinner cocktail, we particularly enjoyed sitting in the Piazza to enjoy our evening cocktails whilst playing some cards! The atmosphere was always so buzzy and uplifting - whilst maintaining chic and laid back vibes! Activities The activities on offer at Long Beach were top notch, both the watersports and at the Sports Centre. We were able to access all non-motorised watersports free of charge, including the stand-up paddle boards, kayaks and pedalos (which were immensely comfy and perfect for a sunny afternoon). Wind surfing and hobby cats were also available. The watersports team ran a snorkelling trip twice a day (morning and afternoon) which took you out towards the reef edge - we would absolutely recommend doing this as part of your trip. A real highlight of the whole trip for us was the sunrise kayak which runs once a week (at 5.15am!!) - with the hotel facing East, the sun rose right out of the sea creating the most amazing spectacle. The Sports Centre had a beautiful, air conditioned gym with a good range of weights and gym equipment - you had to book slots (so they could sanitise every hour), however, there were always spaces available. Boutiques There were two boutique stores at the hotel, both of which had a range of designer beach/leisure wear. They ran a 35% off sale whilst we were there with great deals on Vilebrequin, Seafolly, Fedeli and more… the store attendants were all immensely helpful and we managed to pick up some great presents for friends and family. Special Breakfast While at Long Beach we booked a private champagne breakfast on the beach in one of the private beach cabanas. Mona the event manager ensured the whole thing was perfectly arranged, with breakfast to order and a whole list of champagnes to choose from. Early morning is the most beautiful time to be sea-side and this breakfast was one of our most memorable moments. Raj and Davish provided amazing service, adding a personal touch to what was a special and romantic morning...we wish every morning could start this way! Checkout Sadly, all good things must come to an end. However, even our checkout experience was pleasant - after enjoying our last day on the beach and having checked out of our room at 12pm we were able to utilise the showers in the checkout lounge which were luxurious and left us all clean and lovely for our long travels home! Finally, we want to say a massive thank you to the team at Long Beach Hotel for giving us such a wonderful holiday. We are leaving with many happy memories and hope to return soon! Sophie & Olly x

Wonderful place to be with well organized rooms, amazing scenic view and relaxing atmosphere. Staffs are well trained, pleasant and make you feel at ease. Nice pools and several restaurants with excellent dishes. I will not miss out mentioning about 'Tides' restaurant which was my favourite. Talking to Mr Santosh, the restaurant manager, added much more to our happy stay. He is an amazing guy, a real professional in his job and the importance he gave us together with his team of waiters was the cherry on the cake. 🍒
