Hotel on a human scale located directly on a very beautiful beach, very well maintained establishment, the atmosphere is very pleasant, you immediately feel very good
Everything is impeccably clean, the staff is adorable, the garden full of birds is very beautiful, the swimming pool is very nice, the cocktails are very good
For our part, spacious seafront room well decorated with very good quality bedding only the bathroom needs to be reviewed no more broken VMC joints the tiny sink which is more of a hand basin another inconvenience the stray dogs which bark all the time night on the beach
for the catering side a little repetitive but good on the other hand the desserts not great and a severe lack of fruit in full season lychees mangoes papayas and nothing on offer during our stay
The perfect breakfast, nothing to say
The location of the hotel far from the main activities of the island but if you want the quiet side of Mauritius it is ideal and in addition you can have lunch in the other Verandas of the island depending on the visits or have a picnic basket
Despite a few small downsides, we had a great holiday in this establishment. I would like to thank the staff who are really at all positions, very pleasant, always attentive, well done to them

Were staying at the hotel from 09 to 17 February in a comfortable room with sea view on the third floor.
The best experience of this place is the ocean and the beach. A strip of reefs 600 metres offshore prevents ocean waves from reaching land. There are never waves in this place. It's safe to swim. And in general, there is a feeling of complete security. You can walk comfortably on the shore in both directions for 3-5 kilometers. In the mornings before the tide rises in coastal rocks you can view marine life - fish, hedgehogs, snails, crabs and more. The weather was wonderful, only by the end of the rest one day the wind was blowing and it was raining heavily.
The impressions were somewhat spoiled by the local stray dogs, numbering 5 - 6 individuals, who were everywhere: on the beach, in a restaurant, on the grounds. Personally, I don't feel very comfortable living next door. In the sand on the beach and at the bottom there are many shallow remnants of coral reefs, which were not very comfortable to walk on - it is better to have beach slippers.
The hotel is small, very cozy, all staff are polite and responsive. Communication in English and French. Google Translate helped us communicate. Room service is good every day. The food in the restaurant is quite varied, the drinks in the bars too. Do not leave open food in your room anywhere (fruit, open bags of nuts , an open bath of coke or juice, etc.) - small ants are sure to come.
Every day there's a music program by the pool bar.

The Hotel was lovely with the mauritius style which made it have that special touch. Room service was excellent daily big shout out to all the staff who were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Remember your in mauritius so have patience with the staff they don't rush it's the way they work nice and casual. I would recommend you get shown on Arrival everything regarding the hotel as this all inclusive is very different when getting drinks and food. The hotel gardens are well kept and beautiful then you walk to the perfect location beach with pure white sand and lovely new beds. If your looking for any trips I would definitely recommend the boat trip visiting the islands waterfall and monkeys as well as snorkeling and amazing stop off island food with entertainment the staff were brilliant and you will love the day on this boat trip very special with fantastic views. As any hotel there's always room for improvement and for me the management need more glasses as the staff spent more time looking or washing glasses returned not brilliant.Anyway as a family we had a lovely time at the Veranda palmer beach and would recommend this hotel especially just for the beach alone without its other bonuses. Very nice Enjoy.

We first stayed in Veranda Paul en Virginie and then moved to veranda Palmer Beach. Again the Hotel chef made an effort to understand my husbands dietary requirements and allergies. Special catering was done.

Overall we had a goodstay. Some recommendations would be, there is not enough umbrellas around the pool, then you can not sit in blazing sun

Also not enough shade at the beach. Very difficult On a nice sunny day. You end up sitting at your room.

Water pressure of shower needs attention. And a little bit more variety at the buffet. Swimming pool bar needs more staff and friendlier

On the day we left we met Faizel. He is a fantastic host. Told us about Mauritius culture served us with pickles and took care of lunch needs for us before our departure. I think if we met Faizel in the beginning of our stay it would have been completely different experience.

Overall I do recommend the hotel. With a few small changes like umbrellas and a bit of personal touch and friendly staff this would be a super place to stay

Wow! We had the most amazing two weeks here, 32'+ sunshine right next to the beach with white sands and turquoise waters. The ideal place to relax in the beautiful, tranquil surroundings where we enjoyed great food & drinks. The air-conditioned rooms make even the hottest nights comfortable with large beds and well equipped, cleaned daily with lovely animals left on the bed made with the towels😊
All staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful, giving a wonderful personal service, with a special mention to Zuu for always going the extra mile to help, advise and share his excellent local knowledge and that of the island👍👍👍
We hired a car to explore the island (Eden Car Rentals in Belle Mare recommended) which is so amazingly beautiful and will definitely return to relive the experience and explore more of this wonderful island from the same amazing hotel ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We enjoyed our stay at this establishment. The staff there are very friendly and welcoming.
The reception staff are available and always try to answer your questions. We particularly appreciated Asha who took care of cleaning our room with always beautiful decorations with the towels. Emmanuel the chef, also efficient in the kitchen, always friendly with us. Lindsay whom we adored for her kindness, specialist in our morning omelettes, smiling, friendly, and also Eehna. Sandrine, Joelle and all the Grçonas servers. Elvis at the bar, efficient and smiling. Bénito, for his kindness and our volleyball games. Suren the waiter at the beach restaurant, really adorable. Faizal and our discovery of the Diwali festival. The meals were very good, the breakfast great, nothing was missing. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom very practical. The bedding is excellent. We were able to change rooms (thanks to reception) because it is true that being first on the public beach side, we were woken up by the barking of stray dogs. So it is better to have a room on the Lux Hotel side. The cocktails included in the All Inclusive are perfect.
Well, without being difficult, some constructive criticism.
The staff on the water activities beach side should be more involved in offering activities and the presence of leashes on the paddles would be welcome, because with the current during falls (many...), the current carries the paddle and we swim afterwards.
And we should learn to be kinder to the 2 young waitresses, Neha and Tensi. Really the only 2 people in the hotel who were not up to standard.

Small hotel located on the beautiful beach of BelleMare.
The structure is well maintained, the organization is excellent and the staff friendly and prepared.
The rooms are spacious, well furnished (I recommend those upstairs!), the cleanliness is more than good.
The main restaurant where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served is buffet style.
The proposed food is not bad, but sometimes it can be too spicy and little varied in the alternating days.
The central bar overlooks the small pool, offering cocktails and drinks included and not in the all inclusive.
The beach is long and wonderful, with fine white sand, crystal clear water. For hotel guests the possibility to rent pedal boats, sup, wind surf for free and to use a glass-bottom boat and snorkel at fixed times and after booking.
On the beach you can also do motorized sports, but for a fee.
Evening entertainment is soft, but well done.
The only critical and improvable point of the structure is the constant presence of birds in the restaurant (therefore on the chairs, but also on the buffet itself!) during breakfast and dinner that end up dirtying and not making the environment too hygienic.
Ultimately a good hotel with all-inclusive formula, suitable for relaxation, but where you are not bored, well managed and from which you can start to discover a beautiful island!
Recommended!

Overall I enjoyed my experience but this was probably more down to Mauritius itself rather than the hotel. Many of the aspects I will raise have been commented on by others so I doubt the management will do anything to address these so when coming to decide whether you want to stay here, expect it to be the same.
Good points:
Great location, right on the beach which was kept clear of the very little bit of seaweed that came ashore during my stay. Good range of included water sports and the daily snorkelling trip to the reef was very good. The rooms were simple and pleasant, good air conditioning and well cleaned during my stay. The afternoon tea was very nice with pancakes cooked to order, plus some other savoury snacks.
Bad points:
The aspect that had the most negative impact for me was related to all meals. The food itself was ok, not a huge choice but dinner options were different every evening apart from the pasta that was there every night. It wasn’t high end cuisine by any means but I guess what you’d expect for 3 stars. At all meal times and every day there were insufficient glasses, cutlery, bowls etc. This became really annoying as every meal time I’d have to find a waiter/waitress and ask for a spoon for the ice cream or a glass for the juice etc. etc. in the morning as they had run out - they then came back with one or two items so the same thing would happen for other guests - it seemed they’d have to wash them in the back as they hadn’t got enough crockery/cutlery and didn’t notice or care when none were available. On sitting down initially most tables did not have enough knives/forks or glasses so I’d have to go and take some off other spare tables. Staff seemed poorly trained and should have noted all this and acted. On sitting down for dinner, I’d often have eaten the plate of food I’d got for a starter before I could see anyone to wave at to get a drink (probably on just one occasion did someone come over and asked what I wanted to drink. I tended to have red wine and was poured the smallest measure every night (obviously staff were told to pour this amount as it was consistent). The most glasses I could get was two as it was difficult to flag down staff to get another. The hotel was clearly trying to save money and this was annoying as it was the only drink I enjoyed whilst there - the all inclusive beer was unpleasant, cocktails poor and limited to four options, very limited range (the most limited I’ve experienced at an all inclusive hotel) of what you could have on the all inclusive drinks.
After the evening meal there was a small area where musicians played music etc. but nowhere for people to sit and have a drink. Guests had to sit/lie on sun-beds around the pool - very bizarre and not really acceptable. So after dinner it was quite lame in terms of ambience and ability to sit and have a drink. For me all this made the evenings not particularly special or enjoyable. It has been raised before and obviously brushed aside.

Overall:
Has potential, but I wouldn’t come back, it feels the hotel is trying to provide the cheapest service in many ways and it’s a false economy as it would cost very little to put the issues right and make it much more of a enjoyable experience.

Wonderful cozy hotel, very friendly and attentive staff. There was a room on the second floor overlooking the sea, the most beautiful dawns can be found on the balcony. The beach is cleared of algae during the day. Included snorkeling, kayak, catamaran, saps.
Room service daily. Minibar beer, water, Coca-Cola replenished every day.
On the beach to the left you can walk to the village, 15-20 minutes in a leisurely step. Money changers, small shops.

Wow what can I say.. this may be listed as 3* but the staff alone deserve a 5* review! This is a very small boutique style hotel where you feel nothing but welcome and part of the family from the moment you arrive. When we arrived we were greeted with a cocktail of our choice and everything taken care of right away including a detailed tour of the hotel and its facilities. The food is amazing and you MUST try the evening meals at the horizon restaurant - this is a paid extra but it is the best seafood and steak I’ve ever had. Every single staff member was wonderful. They offer snorkelling boat trips and glass bottom boat trips to see the turtles free of charge and many more free activities. We especially enjoyed the bike ride tour around the local village. Yes this may not be like the neighbouring huge 5* hotels, but with every staff member knowing my name and with it being so small, we were treated like VIP’s every day. Thank you to all staff members for the most incredible stay for my friend and I. We cannot wait to return to Mauritius.
