With a mix of formal and casual multipurpose spaces that transcend the traditional meeting space at an unbeatable location. Splendor is practically the IBM Louis V. Gerstner Jr. Center for Learning, middle name, and its recently debuted Forum, ups the ante. “It’s a showstopper,” enthuses General Manager, TJ Fimmano, of the Forum’s top-of-the-line design and technology which extends throughout the entire conference center. The new design offers meeting attendees the opportunity to collaborate and foster a deeper connection with a mix of pod seating, mini meeting spots, and traditional open, warm, (add comma) and stylish space that welcomes attendees to a social and learning experience. Collectively, the GCL offers 16,800 square feet of dedicated IACC Certified meeting space and over 20,000 square feet of recreational space with a fitness center, indoor basketball court, four outdoor tennis courts, and 182 comfortably appointed queen deluxe guest rooms, offering a haven of relaxation and productivity with scenic views and robust Wi-Fi system.

Detailed Reviews
We recently stayed at the IBM Louis V. Gerstner, Jr. Center for Learning in Armonk. From the outset it was a wonderful customer focused experience.
The staff at the front desk were friendly, helpful and really made us feel welcome.
The accommodation was tastefully designed, extremely comfortable and well provisioned with toiletries, towels and bathrobes.
When it came to the dining, the first class experience just kept on coming. The imaginative menu, focused on health and sustainability, was outstanding. The creativity and quality of local farm to table dishes was on par with the cuisine
of a top notch city restaurant. The meal was accompanied by an excellent selection of well priced high quality wines and the impeccable service by friendly, professional staff all contributed to making this an unforgettable experience.
Overall, this was a five star experience that you rarely find nowadays.
This is a perfect find for a seasoned business traveler or corporate teams who want to give their employees a world class experience.

Hands down the best venue for a meeting of up to 100 attendees in Westchester. The meeting rooms are state of the art for combining live and remote attendees. All of the staff are exceedingly helpful and will meet every need. The food and beverage (thank you Matt) is perfection, especially the attention to dietary requirement detail. Guest rooms are dated and a bit small, but who cares as they are clean and bright plus someone took the time to secure incredibly comfortable beds/pillows. Plans are in the works to gradually update the rooms commencing 2022. We found it to be the ideal blend of meeting content focus and outdoor serenity.

Andrew, I couldn’t have said it any better... thank you. With a mix of formal and casual multipurpose spaces that transcend the traditional meeting space at an incredible location, The Gerstner Center for Learning offers the most advance state-of-the-art design and technology in the Hudson Valley. The new design offers meeting attendees the opportunity to collaborate and foster a deeper connection with a mix of pod seating, mini meeting spots and traditional open, warm, and stylish space that welcomes attendees to a social and learning experience without any distractions. As one of IBM's most senior executives said; "The re-naming of the Gerstner Center is a fitting way to honor one of IBM’s greatest leaders." But the way we’ve chosen to honor him, shows that training leaders and developing the skills needed to compete in a fast-changing world has never gone out of style here.

I stayed 2 nights for a corporate training session. Overall I enjoyed the venue. The most important thing to me is that the mattress is not too firm and I found the bed to be very comfortable. The accommodations look a bit dated, like a dorm room from the 90's but everything was in good working order and there were lots of outlets to plug in your electronics. The carpeting was damaged in my room and could use a refresh. Also the walls are very thin and I could hear the housekeeping staff in the morning. The restaurant was top notch with a good variety of dishes on the buffet. The meeting facilities were comfortable, updated and modern. Everything seemed clean and well maintained.

We are grateful for your wonderful comments and value your patronage and most importantly, thank you for bringing to our attention the damaged carpeting, which will be replaced, immediately. People do say, our guests’ rooms have that dorm 90’s look, but that’s what makes the GCL a unique, conference center. In fact, we are waiting on IBM to authorize the renovation of all 182 guest rooms, so stay tuned.

The staff, especially Sammy, Melissa, Monique, and all others did an excellent job accommodating our group. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left they were attentive, concise, and meticulous to make sure our stay was memorable. Our group was ~ 125+ individuals and they delivered personal service to each one of us.
The food was very delicious and the selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was rotated regularly during our one week stay, with healthy and vegan options for all dietary needs. We 100% recommend staying here for group, retreats, or other professional events. The classrooms, meeting rooms, forum, and other outdoor balcony and rooms were all well positioned and accessible to the main entrance or lodging areas.
It was an A+ experience. Thank you Sammy and staff for a top shelf and memorable week!!!

Everyone, from reception desk, to kitchen, the staff setting up the rooms and preparing the snacks, drinks and food were professional and efficient.
Zavier making sure all the guests were situated with computer connections/IT/AV and his professional 1:1 assistance with the SVP's was impeccable.
Also, Ana made the reservation process easy. She double checked and reconfirmed everything. She also did a walk through before the guests arrived and she was always checking in to make sure everything was running smoothly.
Thank you Ana, Zavier and Staff.

I have dietary restrictions and shared these concerns with the staff in advance of my stay. They went above and beyond my expectations by accommodating my need for an in-room refrigerator. They also put me in direct contact with Matthew Evans, Senior Food and Beverage Manager, who sought me out at each meal to ensure I had an adequate supply of quality food options given my special dietary restrictions. I was impressed at how many options were available for me.

We are so happy you had such a great experience at the Gerstner Center for Learning, and we appreciate the kind remarks about Matther Evans. Life at the dinner table is different for those with food allergies and special dietary restrictions. Matther is always scene talking with guest to make sure they have all the information they need to make the right choices when it comes to the food we sever daily. He is a great asset to our culinary team.

The YKT shuttle picks up at the White Plains Metro North Train Station. It travels to the GCL, CHQ and NC. I'm not sure about the Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights. Reach out to Andrea Syryla at IBM... you can find her in blue pages. She may be able to give you more specific information.
They have many vegetable options and it is very good - great salads. Lots of vegetables available and fish, if you are pescatarian for lunch and dinner. Great breakfast too. If you do not find enough on the buffet, you can request from the staff for more options.
Not sure. But, if you call the Center, they will have an answer. They are super helpful.
