Innahura Maldives Resort, often celebrated for its dedication to environmental sustainability and clean, spacious bungalows with stunning views, has become a hit with guests. Travelers frequently commend the resort for its cleanliness across rooms and facilities, as well as for providing a variety of amenities, including diverse dining options and excellent snorkeling.
While the resort's service is generally seen as friendly and attentive, there are mixed feelings about the value, with some visitors finding the drink quality lacking and the sales atmosphere off-putting.

The accommodation was spacious, practical and each bungalow was well positioned on the beach with either sunrise or sunset views. The sunset side is recommended as the beach has less coral on that side.
The all inclusive package was comprehensive and included a great list of cocktails, beer, all meals, a fitness centre and water sports such as kayaks and a daily transfer to the house reef for snorkeling.
I was so surprised by the snorkeling and the variety of beautiful colourful fish, better than I had previously experienced in Seychelles, Mauritius, Zanzibar, Indonesia or Thailand. We swam with eagle rays, parrotfish, 3 types of angel fish and many many more.
Food was very good and my family said they had never seen such variety over an 8 night stay at other all inclusive destinations. My wife and I are both vegan and the restaurant manager Adam and executive chef endeavoured to prepare personalised vegan meals for lunch and dinner, which included some of the best vegan friendly desserts we had ever had (much to my wife's delight). At the sand bar or Ohlu bar, the pina coladas are highly recommended!
My wife and I had a romantic retreat package at the spa (we are regular spa goers) and this was one of the most beautiful treatment areas. We had a foot massage watching the waves right in front of us, before a fantastic 90 minute Balinese massage on the comfortable tables.
The swimming pool, sand bar and restaurant never felt too full and one could easily sit next to the pool for a few hours with no disturbance. There were children at the resort but everyone was very well behaved.
Evening entertainment was good with DJ nights, movie night and my favourite was the live acoustic evening under the stars. We stayed up until after midnight sipping cocktails and listening to great acoustic tunes from the 90s and 2000s.
Well done to Eddy and all involved at Innahura at delivering a great product. At Innahura, life is easy.

Our first experience with Maldives, great place for one week vacation though it's a long trip including the seaplane. Seaplane itself offers wonderful view on Maldives, however you never know how long you'll have to wait for departure and it is almost certain that some of your luggage will travel to your resort separately.
We were prepared for mosquitos and sand flies, but haven't seen any, luckily. Every evening at 6 the island is being fumigated against insects, which is working, obviously. Around the island there are feathertail rays and very shy small sharks, but no snorkelling spots. You can go snorkelling by boat for free every morning for about 30 min, but the equipment is not included and fins are required (available for 6 usd). We went for half-day paid (75 usd) trip "Let's safari" and it was amazing, we saw turtles, rays, dolphins and small sharks, it is from 9am to 1pm, equipment and food&drinks are included and kids have 50% discount. We had the room 234 which was close to the pool, SandBar and Dhoni restaurant and we loved the place, only the extra bed (we were 4 in the room) was very uncomfortable.
What we enjoyed most except the snorkelling trip, was the game room with table tennis, football and billiards and the gym. Great part of all inclusive was also paddle boards and kayak rental at water sport center. We enjoyed the food at Dhoni restaurant, it was sufficient with very nice selection of desserts and salads.

Journey to Innahura begins at the Male Airport where counter 59 (Important to know this) helps you connect to TMA's (Trans Maldivian Authority) seaplane connecting you to an hour flight to Innahura. Even as this to and fro journey to this resort makes it a costlier option amongst contemporaries, its worth the experience, just beware of carrying extra baggage which is chargeable. Landing at Innahura, you are greeted by Eddie, the tall and friendly resort manager who along with his team welcome you to the resort. One of the first things to notice will be the time difference between resort time and Male time (on which your phones are) by the time you get your welcome drink. After initial comforting small talk, you are escorted to your room which either sunrise or sunset villa are quite spacious even for a small family of 4. The cleanliness of the beach and view of the ocean is on display all along. The odd thing to notice in the room is open to sky lavatory and bath shower, which may be a nice thing for honeymooning couples but irks a bit initially. Surprisingly resort has a lot of amenities for sports, right from a proper badminton, tennis, volleyball and football court to indoor games room with pool table, TT table, Foosball and even air hockey which was nice. There are regular events in the evening including a management cocktail to connect with the staff and also DJ and movie night on the beach. Plenty of spots for memorable photographs and swings even in middle of the water. Beach attire is most commonly prevalent and swimming in pools and directly in adjacent sea is quite relaxing. The food has good variety including Indian and vegetarian food options which was a welcome surprise, but the best item in food has to be desserts which are quite scrumptious. The staff is very friendly and supportive, couple of Indian staffers including Sejal and Tanya are versed with Hindi as well which will make many Indian tourists feel at home. The hand tossed pizza and collection of cocktails and mocktails make for an ideal dinner and chef Lasantha (srilankan) is quite good. Water sports and coral visits along with boat rides are some other attractions for the resort together with a Spa experience and professional Photo shoots. Finally, nothing beats the serene evenings with clear star lit sky with gentle breeze to help you relax and mesmerize. A 4-5 day stay with your partner is highly recommended and I take this opportunity to thank Innahura team for the pleasant experience during my trip to Maldives.

We stayed at Innahura for 21 days, and it was a great experience, if not an exciting one. The bungalow we stayed at was very comfortable and spacious, and the front window gives a great view of the sunrise that we could see from the bed every morning. A cleaner comes by every morning to stock up or replace your drinking water, towels and toiletries, and generally keeps things clean.
The sea is 10 meters away, and a reef with lots of fish another 10 meters away, so just swimming or snorkeling in front of our bungalow is already a good experience. You can also go on snorkeling or scuba diving trips, and there are some basic facilities and activities like a spa, swimming pool, volleyball and board games and movie screening etc. No parties, but enough activities for a couple. Children might get bored however.
Food is somewhat basic, there are 2 bars serving an assortment of pastas, pizzas, soups and snacks (the bruschetta is really good), and a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet of Indian and standard western fare, with some items changing daily, so you don't get bored of eating the same items every day. Quality ranges from ok to good, but often a little on the salty side.
Internet isn't too good, even a mobile hotspot might not get great data, so be prepared.
Service was great, all the staff were very friendly, helpful and provided good service. Life at the resort is relaxed, and the service might reflect it occasionally, but still no complaints.
For COVID travellers, masks are required at the restaurants and any indoor areas, and there are free masks and sanitizers at many places, and the clinici provides a free COVID swab test for your return trip if needed.
All in all a great trip, very good value for money.

We were impressed with the beauty of the island and the genuine friendliness of the staff. We loved how well-being of the guests was always a priority, and appreciated that many activities (beach volleyball, badminton, kayak rental, gym) were available for free. The food was delicious and varied, so everyone could find something suitable for their taste. Despite the covid pandemic not being over yet, we didn't feel that the vacation was any less good. We were also relieved that the seaplane was booked by the resort, so we didn't need to stress about that. All in all, it was an amazing experience that offered relaxation, recreation and fun at the same time.
We loved the coral garden in the sea. Even with the basic snorkeling equipment it was possible to watch the beautiful fish of all colors which was a very special experience. Rooms were cozy and nicely cooled. The idea of having the bathroom outside was really cool. We were scared of the lizards at first, but they weren't harmful and didn't even want to come closer to people. We enjoyed the terrace with a big ceiling fan and 2 deckchairs that could be moved closer to the sea. It was nice lying in the deckchair under the palm trees, reading and watching the sea. We appreciated that the rooms were on the beach right next to the sea, so it was possible to go for a swim and shower afterwards without having to walk far. It was also very convenient that the hair dryer, raincoat and the towels (not only for bathroom but also for the beach) were also provided by the resort. Another interesting fact: there are bats living on the island! We were so surprised to see them flying around at dusk.
The only negative thing were many ants in the room... but since we were eating at the restaurant, this wasn't a big problem.

Innahura resort totally exceeded our expectations! A beautiful island, very quiet, peaceful, really nice staff, who made us feel at home.
We stayed at Sunset bungalow and we loved it. Spacious, clean, cozy and comfortable room with a perfect view, we also loved the outdoors bathroom. On the sunset side of the island the beach is better /no corals/ and the water is more tranquil, while on the sunrise side it's more windy, you can find some interesting fish underwater, but the beach is full of broken corals.
The food was amazing - delicious, with huge variety of meals and most of all - with great cooks and staff. We did the free snorkeling twice, totally recommend it. The Prodivers team is very proffessional and helpful.
Some things you should be aware of:
The seaplane schedule is unpredictable and kind of tricky. On arrival we had to wait for 3,5 hours at the seaplane airport and after being assigned on the last flight for the day, we were told there's no room for the luggage, so the bags were brought to us the next day around noon. The seaplane landed on another resort and we were then transferred to Innahura by boat /another 30 min/. On the day of our departure the time of the flight got changed 3 times, but thankfully we had a late flight from Male, so we had a bit more time to enjoy on this perfect resort. So seaplane is a challenge, but the resort, of course, is not to blame for any of this.
Another thing that we didn't like is that there is some construction going on around the island. Every day there was a dredging boat in front of our bungalow, which moved sand from one side of the resort to the other through a big black pipe. We asked a couple of people from the staff, but nobody seemed to know the reason for this. It maked us feel like they are changing the whole landscape and ruining the lagoon, which would be really sad.
One last thing - communication between the diving center and the reception should be better. One of our snorkeling tours was moved from 11 to 9 am, but nobody informed us and 6 other guests about the change.

Dear Vilyana, Thank you very much for taking your precious time to write this review of your holiday with us at Innahura Maldives Resort! It is our pleasure to read your kind compliments regarding our superb location, delightful cuisine, an array of exciting activities, and our efforts for an eco-friendly resort operation on the island. We are delighted that you have enjoyed a wonderful holiday and I have noted down your welcomed suggestions for further improvements on our services. Please be informed that most resorts in The Maldives struggle with beach sand erosion, due to extreme weather and high waves from time to time. It is therefore necessary to pump sand from the lagoon in order to restore the perfect beaches. While this is just a temporary measure throughout the seasons we understand that it might be an inconvenient sight. At the moment we have not any sand pumping ongoing, probably for the next 3-4 months the weather will be calm and sunny. Our dedicated team always aim to provide friendly and attentive hospitality, without being intrusive, so that our guests enjoy the privacy and intimacy of our stunning Maldives paradise. I will share your special thanks with my team for exceeding your expectations. We do hope that we will have the chance to welcome you back to Innahura for your next unforgettable visit in the not-so-distant future! Rooms, poor and dirty with opened toilet adjacent to the way. Bungalow are similar to prison camp. Every day I have to go in reception to ask if someone is able to make the room because at 5 pm no one is arrived to refresh and change towels.
Food is similar as what I eaten when I were at school (good only to survive) . Sea is nice, but it is a skill of Maldives. After 2 days, We asked to move in another structure paying more, and manager after 2 days again never gave us an answer (I never seen him). Choose another hotel for Maldives or stay at home.

Dear I264LOandreav I would like to address your review and the contents with which it refers. Firstly, I should note that since your arrival, some of the members of your group have been exceptionally rude to staff – that in one instance reduced a member of staff to tears, paired with unnecessary use of offensive language and insults towards our staff members. The Innahura team will always approach our guests with the utmost respect but we demand a certain level of decorum from our guests as well! Our team is available at any time to listen to our guests feedback, input and requests, but it will be done in a proper and respectful manner. Further, referring to our rooms as “prison camps” is not only completely insensitive, but immensely untrue and contradictory to fellow guest feedback. At Innahura we do not entertain such offensive manners. Similarly – the exaggerate ”incident” of requesting your room to be cleaned to reception only occurred on one day as cleaning schedules were altered by the high number of arrivals we had on that one day – kindly note that this did not happen again during the entirety of your stay, and surely not daily as you falsely claim! Following your complaints about the food - both our F&B Manager and Executive Chef reached out to you - who you assured you were happy with the meals provided. You initially indicated that buffet dishes were not replenished. This is an incorrect statement as you arrived at closing time of the buffet and indeed dishes are no longer refreshed or changed when closing of the buffet is imminent. It should also be noted that we are not a 5-star resort and do not sell ourselves as one – our prices are exactly compatible with what we have to offer, which is why were are rated so highly by guests in “value for money”. Some of your group member’s complaints including, but not limited to, “the sea and ocean are extremely loud” are truly not justified and can be used to set the tone of the overall complaints we have received from you. Although our management HAD reached out to you about changing resorts and asked you to contact your travel agent to do so – we did not hear from them once. Regardless, efforts were made to move you to another resort – which you canceled last minute without explanation. Lastly, our weekly management cocktail is the exact opportunity where managers in all positions are made available for guests to speak with. This is clearly marked on our weekly programs displayed on our website, on the application, on guest TVs, and on the information channel on TVs. I believe the above puts your feedback in a broader daylight. Kind Regards, Eddy Loomans Resort Manager

We stayed in Innahura from 5th till 16 January and it is worth mentioning that this was our 10th visit to the Maldives. In general, we enjoyed our stay but there were certain things which definitely need improvement. Some of them may not be directly connected to the hotel itself but I will mention them for the sake of other travellers.
Arrival to Male: this was quite annoying as the queue at the immigration was tremendous, we spent almost an hour there to get through, some people were collapsing... then we had to wait for yet more 2 hours for a sea plane transfer. They gave us a meal voucher still the waiting after the 8-hour flight was horrible. And then the worst thing - they informed us that the weight of the plane was almost exceeded, so our luggage will not fly with us... By the way we had only one suitcase. So we had to pick some of our stuff in the bag with us and wait for the luggage, which arrived only in the evening. This is totally unacceptable and I believe that the airline should organize more flights to stop such situations. By the way, we noticed that this was the common practice as the luggage of our neighbours also arrived much later then they.
Check-in was fine. We contacted the hotel in advance and got one of the villas which we requested. There are two sides of the island: sunrise and sunset. I definitely recommend the sunset side only. As the beach is on the sunrise side is really awful and it is very windy on that side of the island. On the sunset side the beach is really nice with the best sand I have ever seen in the Maldives. Note that it is very shallow and you will not find any fish or corals but you can take the snorkelling tour.
Room was ok for its price. However the tile in the bathroom is very very slippery and the water drainage is not excellent, so be careful.
Dining. The resort offers all inclusive and full board. i was a bit sceptical about the food, however, it exceeded my expectations with a variety of choices each day. The prices for snacks and beverages are cheaper compared to other resorts which I have visited and the price is inclusive of taxes, which is great)
SPA was good and the pricing again very nice.
We also booked for a romantic dinner with movie at the inhabitant island nearby and I would definitely recommend to try this option. Very romantic and the food was really nice.
I would also like to express gratitude to Desiree, who is a great example of how guests should be treated, very helpful and ready to solve our problems.

It was our first visit to the Maldives, and were convinced the travel brochures used filters to make the sea oh so blue and the sand so white, but we were very wrong. We found paradise at The Innahura Resort.
Our thanks go out to ALL the staff who were amazing. Even with the ever escalating COVID-19 crisis, they went out of their way to ensure we had an unforgettable holiday and always had a smile on their face. A particular mention goes to Dinesh, Lanoy and Edwin in the bar (thank you for the cocktails) and also Mary & the chefs on the ‘action station’ in the restaurant, who sorry, we didn’t get your names!
The accommodation was perfect, with a view to die for and the resort kept clean and tidy. Meals were delicious with plenty of choice.
Finally, we hope everyone we met got home safely and are managing to keep their spirits up during lockdown. We would love to return again under more normal circumstances. In the meantime, stay safe.

The only code to respect is not to go to the place where you eat in a bathing suit.
And not even bare-chested for men
Hi we were there 4 weeks ago and it was going on- cargo containers, cranes etc on both islands directly opposite.
Wifi available at no cost pretty well over whole island
The rooms on the Sunrise and Sunset side of the island are exactly the same. The beach on the Sunrise side is nicer IMHO - soft sand, and rooms overlook the lagoon. Don't know if TUI offer anything else with the upgrade as we didn't book with them - but we thought the very slightly greater cost was worth it for the location alone.
It doesn't include the transfer. The tranfer is made only by seaplane, and it cost around USD 350 per person
