Our stay at innahura was one of a kind, firstly Tanya at reception was very helpful. The resort manager Eddy was also very good. Riaz, the chief security was very good. We stayed in number 133. My experience on an island was beautiful, something to remember for a lifetime. The dhoni restaurant was impressive. See I was excellent with his service, he just knew what we liked. Sejal, the waitress was excellent. I wish to visit again soon. 🙏🏼🙏🏼👍

We were on the first seaplane to arrive after the resorts` post COVID reopening on 31.January 21. That in itself is a wonderful experience! Trip Advisor says it’s closed til April 1st, that’s false. Lots of staff members, (all wearing masks), were at the jetty greeting and welcoming us and also playing maldivian drums as we disembarked. Check in was efficient. We were shown to our Sunset Villa on arrival. Luggage followed shortly afterwards. Beautiful room, we had a Sunset Villa, clean, spacious, much larger than previous rooms we had stayed in on other islands in the past . Bathroom was partly outdoors. Shower good. The staff member explained everything about the room to us on our arrival, showed us where the in-room emergency life jackets were, showed us where the emergency meeting point was etc. Beach nicer on the Sunset Villa side of the island. Went to the restaurant for a little late lunch, -a la carte- as due to travel restrictions there weren’t very many guests there and therefore no buffet during the first few days of our stay. The food was nice, but portions were too large. The restaurant staff are all very friendly, especially Sejal , the only female server working there, she is indeed is a very pleasant and efficient young lady, she interacted well with us during our whole stay and took time to speak to us every time we came for our meals. Always smiley eyes 👀 Thank you Sejal ! After a few days a few more guests arrived and from then on there was a buffet 3 times a day.The restaurant was never overcrowded. Food was hot, very tasty, especially the curries, not at all monotonous, something for everyone. Vegan and vegetarian also. We loved the Appetizer buffet! A big thank you to Seeni, our breakfast „live cooking“ cook, he makes delicious omelettes and always had a smile on his face (smiling eyes due to mask) The drinks at the Sand Bar were delicious, friendly bar staff. The Olhu Bar was unfortunately not open during our stay, it was being refurbished. ***I just can’t understand why some disrespectful guests sit on the chairs with drenched wet bathing suits (this also happened every day in the Restaurant) and cause the pillows to be wet for the next person.... the staff never corrected them*** Lots of guests would be seated then after dinner / evening meal and acquire wet trousers or a wet dress. Entertainment was ok, not more, not less. But I presume this is also partly due to corona restrictions. Pool area was nice, wooden deck, no 6am rush for sun lounges or chairs necessary. Kids pool would need more shade in my opinion, it’s very sunny and no sun umbrellas or palm trees nearby to give shade. Beach clean, raked several times daily. Water clean and chrystal clear and was in the most beautiful range of turquoise shades. Reef can be reached by boat. Gardeners constantly raking the beach and surrounding area. A big shout out to Dustin Kennedy, he was the Resortmanager during most of our stay, he went above and beyond. I had an attack of sandflies while there, he was fantastic! He unfortunately changed to another resort 3 days before we left but we are so glad to have got to know him and experience his professionalism and friendliness. Thank you Dustin! His replacement, Eddy, was also friendly we didn’t have much contact with him though. We would return!

We have been to over 20 different resorts in the Maldives. We stayed in this resort for 17 nights during March 2020 on an all-inclusive basis. The good points about this resort was the excellent weather and sea temperature. Swimming from the beaches is very bad. On the sunrise side of the island, you need beach shoes because of the dead coral and rocks. On the sunset side of the island, the beach is too shallow to swim properly. Snorkelling from the beach is very poor with very few fish. The best off-beach places to snorkel are the jetties (where you are not supposed to snorkel). On the morning and afternoon snorkelling trips you will see very few fish. We had a sunrise villa which was spacious with working TV and WIFI. The covered area of the bathroom was good but the uncovered had greenery which harboured biting insects. The resort performs regular fumigation which is inadequate. We were both were bitten very badly and we were not alone. The medical resort facility was of no help. We were still dealing with itches and scratches three weeks after returning from this holiday. Excluding breakfast and deserts, the food was good for a 3-star resort. The resort service and cleaning were very bad from both junior and senior staff. The cleaner would lie to you (for example) and say he has changed the linen when they have not. The reception and management would lie to you about changing rooms and tequila. There is no waiter service at breakfast. Apart from Tequila, the all-inclusive drinks were acceptable. For Tequila they tried to give us Agave which is unhealthy and unacceptable. You will get musak all around the restaurants and bars whether you like it or not. If you want a drink in peace and quiet to view the beautiful Maldives forget it. The bars are very pleasant apart from the music. The beach bar may not have music when the barman is talking to staff. In the evening the bar is more like a staff social club making it difficult for customers to get a drink. The water sports team are very bad and only interested in playing loud music.

Dear SnorkellerLondon, We sincerely apologize for not meeting your expectations and leaving with such a feeling of disappointment for our resort. We do pride ourselves on providing the highest levels of services and what you experienced is most unusual. So many of our guests in their reviews refer to Innahura as a paradise, a stunning location and excellent levels of service and I am most disheartened we did not meet your expectations. Our team members are always available and ready to attend to any guest request or listen to any suggestion. It is unfortunate that you have not mentioned our offer for a room upgrade to a Sunset Beach Bungalow free of charge after your complaint about the beach, which you have declined. Additionally I would like to mention our extra service in providing you numerous bottles of Tequila for your needs. For the better understanding for the interested readers I like to refer to your extended reviews on your profile which are self explanatory! Especially on your reviews about many other resorts in The Maldives that you have visited including some of our sister resorts that have received similar criticism in regards to insects, drinks quality, rudeness of staff and management. My team and I are very disappointed and most disheartened to receive such a negative review despite all our efforts. However please accept my apologies for not having managed to live up to your expectations. Keeping up our service is very important to us and I have highlighted this to our team. I personally wish you always happy travels and pleasant holidays from now on, hopefully! Best regards Rainer Steinhilber General Manager

We stayed on Innahura 1/3-24/3 , we had a sunset villa which was in stunning location. The room was kept tidy , and cleaned twice a day . The rooms are very well set out and spacious . We had our holiday cut short by 6 days due to the coronavirus, we were well cared for by the staff , daily checks by the doctor . Our hero was Abdull (apologies if name wrong ) we felt we were left to get on with it by Letsgo2 , only 1 member of staff was helpful , He put at ease as he arranged our early flight home within an hour of asking for help , many thanks . The staff were excellent always happy to have a chat , attentive and soon remembered your choice of drink . The food was excellent such a varied choice and of a very good quality. Bar staff happy to talk to you and made you feel special . We particularly liked a drink in Olhu bar after dinner it was a very relaxed bar overlooking the ocean and was a very popular place to go . During the day we would have a walk over to Loabi island it was nice to just go over and look back at the island We were lucky enough to be there fo the first year anniversary of the island , it was an amazing night . The dive school did an amazing job Ludwig and his team had a few challenges as our holiday went on but got through them with first class professionalism. The island is kept clean by the amazing team of ladies who daily sweep the island and the gardeners , always happy to have a word . Even thou at times our holiday was quite stressful due to the virus and uncertainty of things , we tried to go with and chill . Would we go back , certainly would we had an amazing time overall Innahura is a small , laid back friendly island with a lot going for it .See you soon K and L

It was our first visit to the Maldives, and were convinced the travel brochures used filters to make the sea oh so blue and the sand so white, but we were very wrong. We found paradise at The Innahura Resort. Our thanks go out to ALL the staff who were amazing. Even with the ever escalating COVID-19 crisis, they went out of their way to ensure we had an unforgettable holiday and always had a smile on their face. A particular mention goes to Dinesh, Lanoy and Edwin in the bar (thank you for the cocktails) and also Mary & the chefs on the ‘action station’ in the restaurant, who sorry, we didn’t get your names! The accommodation was perfect, with a view to die for and the resort kept clean and tidy. Meals were delicious with plenty of choice. Finally, we hope everyone we met got home safely and are managing to keep their spirits up during lockdown. We would love to return again under more normal circumstances. In the meantime, stay safe. Dave & Jan, Birmingham UK
