If you go to the Maledives you know it’s a bit of a journey, especially with 3 young kids. So we really appreciated that we were brought to the villa right away after we arrived on the island. The whole check in process was done while we were in the villa unpacking and the youngest one sleeping already again. We had a lovely villa and a super butler who was responsible for us during our stay. Whatever we wanted and whatever we asked for he was there to make it happen. The food in the restaurants was good and the staff was very polite. There was maybe some small room for improvement with the service in the main restaurant. Overall we had surprisingly relaxed holiday with 3 small kids. Mainly thanks to Misbah who was responsible for our villa and thanks to the kids club. So we already booked our next stay.

It was our first family holiday since the pandemic began and it’s safe to say we couldn’t have spent it anywhere better. The resort and its surroundings really are amazing, you have picturesque views no matter where you are on the island and the facilities are great too, with a good variety of restaurants and bars. We were lucky enough to experience a special Easter night buffet/bbq which was a particular favourite as the resort really went above and beyond with live entertainment etc, a good reflection of the friendly atmosphere on the island!! The resort has one of the best beaches and pools I’ve ever seen, which was perfect for relaxing, but there’s so much to take advantage of on the island. We enjoyed the snorkelling, water sports, a few games of tennis and even managed to make us of the the gym (the jungle gym is very cool, definitely check that out) The staff and service at Amilla resort were incredible, there were so many personal touches, the baby moon put on by the staff for my pregnant girlfriend being a perfect example of that and something we really didn’t expect. The resort will always hold a special place in our heart as we got engaged on this holiday but the staff (particularly Schebba) really made the whole experience feel special and something we’ll never forget! I especially want to mention Schebba, we can’t thank her enough for her kindness and also the laughs we had, she really is a superstar and helped make the holiday as amazing as it was! Amilla resort is a special place that we couldn’t recommend enough, we will certainly be back some day and we can’t wait!!

I must say this resort is in my list of top 10 resorts I have visited across the world. We experienced the two bedroom beach residence and the one bedroom water villa .Both were extremely spacious top notch modern furnishings and massive private pools.Housekeeping was done twice a day so everything was extremely clean. It’s not common to have manager level employees come and visit their guests at the breakfast table or the dinner table every single day but well it happens in this resort. They made us ( and I’m sure all other guests)feel like VVVIP’s.😎Impeccable service from all employees .Pristine and clean private beach.Variety of restaurants and great breakfast buffet.Even our kids who are normally selective with food enjoyed the kids meals at all restaurants . Big thanks to our butler GONDO.He ensured our stay was perfect.Everything from dinner reservations buggy service activities excursions was well organised. Sand bank excursion is a must do.It was mesmerising.Several activities for adults and kids daily so one will never get bored even if you stayed for a month . Thank u entire team of Amilla we will definitely be returning soon.

Stayed in May for 3 nights ( I would recommend longer stays here for a full rounded experience), and was blown away by the Amilla experience. The villas are some of the largest and spacious and well kept in the Maldives. You also won't find accommodations of these size fully equipped with luxury amenities in the value range as Amilla. We were lucky to experience the 4 Bedrooms Residence and the room was enormous with all the amenities you can think of for a family traveling together, including a game room, fully equipped kitchen and BBQ outdoors and very spacious 4 bed rooms. We also stayed in one of the treetop as its quite a unique experience in Maldives. These villas are quietly tucked in the lush vegetations of the island and brings a Balinese vibe to an island life. Once again very spacious and great for families with its two bedrooms setting. The best part of Amilla though, is the team. From Jason, the general manager to the F&B Service team and the housekeeping team, all made us feel like home. Everyone was very kind and we couldn't bring up a request to this team that was met with a 'NO'. Everyone was very generous and hospitable. You don't find such genuine warm hospitality often and this was really something that stood out for Amilla in our experience. We want to highlight Hassan from F&B services, who made sure our kid (who was a fussy eater), had something to eat. Also the feeling Koi service team, and Barolo service team all were fantastic. We also want to thank and appreciate our butler Longey, who was very patient with us and always met with a smile. Nothing was too much for him. Very kind and ready to help with anything. Due to short stay we didn't get to do much activities, but there is a great path around the island (which is quite large for Maldivian islands) that you can ride your bicycles (provided in your villa) or just jog. We had an amazing time at the spa, the amenities and the wellness programs at the spa is fantastic. The team is well versed in wellness being and can suggest you the best treatments. Thank you Amilla team for making a memorable experience to last lifetime. We hope to come back soon.

we booked Amilla for 5 nights, well to begin with....the rooms were very well appointed and furnished appropriately! we stayed 2 nights in the lagoon & 3 nights in the beach front villa. best of both worlds for a short Vacation! I have been to some of the most luxurious properties in the Maldives and I can say this resort definitely is in the top 5. special mention about our khateebah- ( Maldivian name for a personal Butler/Hostess) Ms Yulia from Ukraine. She truly is an asset to the resort she was very warm, hospitable took care of our every small needs during our stay! Always smiling:) we were also welcomed by the GM himself Mr Jason who was always on the rounds to see if the guests require anything. Mark, Indran and the entire team of F&B were amazing and very attentive and took extra care of the childrens needs! I will definitely recommend this resort to travellers and I'm sure you will experience luxury at its best! there are many restaurants serving different cuisines of the world such as Japanese, Indian, Italian and local Maldivian fare! although we are quite satisfied with the food I would still love to see more varieties in the breakfast buffet next time.I would like to rate the amenities on a scale of 5 below:- management- 5/5 staff-5/5 Food-4/5 rooms/property-4/5 island experience-4/5 kids club-4/5 spa-3/5
