Words fail to accurately describe Amilla Fushi. It is idyllic and beyond anything we could have hoped for. Myself and my boyfriend stayed there for 6 days/5 nights and there is not a single element of the entire trip I would want to change. The resort itself was stunning and the views were unrivalled. This could arguably be expected of a high end resort in the Maldives however what was less expected was the sheer excellence of the staff. They were not only incredibly efficient and professional, they were also exceptionally kind. As soon as we told them that we wanted to participate in as many activities as possible, they went above and beyond, booking us in for a beautiful sandbank picnic and a once in a lifetime blue hole snorkelling expedition. Every single evening, no matter which of the many restaurants we chose to eat at, the service was amazing, quick, polite and yet still warm. They never hesitated to make recommendations when asked (taking into account our personal tastes) and made any special themed evening even more fun by making sure we were as involved as we wanted to be. The same can be said for the wonderful photographers at the Shutterfish Studio who made our session so much fun. Any member of staff was always ready to help with directions or suggestions and nothing was too much of an inconvenience. Amilla Fushi also offered an exciting range of activities, many of which were complimentary, which would suit a wide range of preferences. We partook in an aerial dancing class (which was one on one with a wonderful instructor), facial massage workshops, dinner on the beach, learning local dances, as well as snorkelling in the reef off of our villa at least once a day. The wildlife is breath-taking and the resort makes it very easy to experience the natural beauty by ensuring you have access to snorkelling gear. To cut a long story short, the resort is stunning, the food is delicious, the staff is beyond words, the activities are fun and overall my trip to Amilla Fushi will likely forever be the best holiday I will ever experience (and if you get to go, make sure you go to the Seafood BBQ!). I cannot thank the resort and staff enough for hosting us so graciously. P.S: Some other good things to note: - Amazing Vegan and Wellness options - Onsite clinic - Bikes available for each villa - Any time you are at the pool/main beach area, staff ensure you have water and towels available

Amilla Fushi is the perfect getaway. Everything was first class from the extensive vegan options to the holistic therapies available at the beautiful spa. Our sunset villa was a wonderful hideaway! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Plenty to do (if you want to) or you can simply relax.

It was genuinely unlike anything we could’ve imagined. We spent the whole time wowed by it all. The food was probably the best we’ve had, the surroundings made for the ideal tropical paradise, the wildlife and being able to swim with turtles and such out the back of our villa was amazing. The service was perfect and the staff were all wonderful and a joy to be around. Truly incredible and somewhere we will definitely want to be going to again

Amilla Fushi is a very well managed resort by bright, caring, and innovative administration team. Every single member of the staff is always smiling and is available to help you at any time. The villas are always kept clean by very meticulous cleaning staff. They try to work out the best time for you and adjust to your schedule. The reef is full of sea creatures. We saw eagle rays, turtles, sharks, and obviously a ton of fish. The food on the island is better than any other island my family and I have been to. There is a range of cuisines that you pick from and all of them are delicious. I highly recommend their pizza! If you are looking for a great getaway with your family or a loved one then this is the place for you!!!

From the moment we arrived on the island it was pretty clear that the team on Amilla were going to do everything possible to give us the perfect Christmas and New Year. The kids were given a beaming welcome by the kids club team, our cases were whisked off and a cold drink placed in our hands. Within what seemed like seconds we were by the pool of our treetop villa(!) and the holiday had begun. We'd stayed in one of Amilla's stylish reef villas last time we were here, so it was hard to believe that we would be treated to an even greater degree of luxury. The treetop villa took things (literally) to the next level. We felt like we were really in the heart of the rich nature of this beautiful island. The living space was grand and elegant, yet comfy and welcoming. Amilla at Christmas is something to behold. With the perfect number of guests for every gala dinner, beach party and main stage show to have an amazing buzz and energy, by day the island still felt quiet and peaceful enough for us to always feel like we were in our very own private corner of heaven. The food was sensational. With two vegans, one vegetarian and a committed carnivore in our family there was a vast choice for everyone at every meal. As before, the only complaint we could possibly have is that we eventually had to go home. Amilla...you outdid yourself. We all keep sneaking looks at the calendar to see when we can return for our next trip to paradise.
