We had a very good stay especially thanks to Reaz who did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible .. he was very careful throughout our stay .. always smiling and very pleasant !!! it's really nice to meet people like that. Thank you again for all.
My fiancé and I spent 11 days at kihaa and I can agree that it is more of a 3 star resort compared to other hotels in the Maldives BUT the staff really give it an extra something!! 5 star service all the way!! Dawa and the rest of the bar staff at the swings bar we’re just over the top. Very attentive! Ibrahim was top notch!! He just went above and beyond for us the whole time we were there! I couldn’t say more nice things about the staff. If we were to come back it would be because of how we were treated during our stay. Food was good even though I’m a really picky eater I was always able to put together a full meal for myself no matter what theme night it was.
Fantastic experience from booking to departure. Kihaa staff went out of their way to make sure we had a fantastic vacation. Julius and Jeniffer were especially helpful with last minute booking and other arrangements. Sea plane pickup and drop off was seamless. Resort is beautiful, clean, and is located on the most breathtaking beach I have ever seen. 5 star. Will return for sure!
the island itself is very "large" has some nice corners, the accommodation is great, clean and rooms are quite big ... the dive center is awesome, thanks to Abdul, Marc, Ariana and GianLuca, Service in the restaurant is very good, Reaz and Ibrahim are perfect in service! The food in the restaurant is a severe problem, most of the time it was very cool, there is no selection of food, it is more or less the same every day, if you switch to a la carte, you must expect 40 USD + for one burger ... the weak point of the island is the restaurant for sure ... ! for that high amount of money, that is unacceptable - beside that, the island is a very good place, above all for diving ... !!!
I booked the Lagoon Villa with Plunge Pool room in April 2021 to go in November 2021 for our wedding anniversary, so i booked like 8 months before the trip. But 2 Months before the trip, Kihaa Maldives canceled my reservation without giving any compensation (at the last minute, they close the hotel for 1 week). What i'm supposed to do now with my flight tickets which i can't cancel? If i cancel, i loose 1200€. Moving to another date is also not an option as it's our wedding anniversary, and i have to pay 400€ to move my flight tickets to another date. Who will pay this bill? Of course, the customer... I'm really disgusted how a hotel can act like this. Cancelling a reservation near the start of the trip, now all hotel rooms prices are so higher than 5 months ago. A hotel with an organization like this, you can imagine what could be if you really are on the place. Maybe you go there, and there is no reservation? Maybe you go there and they forget you? It's not professional, sorry. If you want to be a 5* hotel, you have at least to be organized. A hotel without a minimum organization can close its door. It does not deserve to get customers. I do not recommend this hotel and will talk about this around me.…
