This was a family Easter holiday and can say this is the best holiday we have had! Where do I start! We were in the "standard" beach villa which is more than we had anticipated. There is a separate curtained area where the children can sleep. There is direct access to the beach from the back of the villa, with each villa having at least two allocated beach loungers. There was an outdoor shower and bath: perfect in the Maldives heat. In terms of the facilities on the main island: - The infinity pool on the main Island looking out onto the beach is a good size and accommodates all guests: we loved it and couldn't get enough! - Gym is good; - The buffet breakfast has most cuisines and anything that you could reasonably want from a buffet; - Free use of tennis courts (they provide rackets and balls - just need to book in advance) as well as non- motorised sports gear The quiet Island (adults only: that can be accessed by footbridge or buggy) IMO has the nicer beach and areas (all relative!) and the pool is lovely too. In terms of tips: - HH Diamond members have a free cocktail hour 4pm-5pm every day on the quiet Island (children welcome); - As well as footbridge and buggy, boats are available to ferry you between Islands; - Go half to full board if you can. We were breakfast only and all meals are very expensive. I'd expected it to be expensive, but not as expensive as it turned out to be!! Take snacks with you - may help with the cost a little bit. That said, they were very accommodating in terms of our vegetarian diet; - There is a complimentary photo session available where you get two digital copies free, though inevitably you'll end up buying at least a couple more as we did. I can't finish this review by saying how amazing every single member of staff was: don't want to pick out anyone specifically as all were amazing. We are already saving up for our next trip (but won't be for a few years yet!!).…
This was our second time staying at this property. We enjoyed it thoroughly! The staff were highly attentive and helpful. We stayed in a Sunset Water villa that had been recently refurbished and it was absolutely wonderful. Excellent Hilton Diamond recognition! The housekeeping staff are amazing and extremely well trained. Our host Issam was the most thoughtful, efficient, and competent host. Highly recommended!
Have been there 4 times and will always go back We were there for our honeymoon and enjoyed thoroughly The location staff, chefs and management All stupendously marvelous Highly recommend Words cannot do plain the experience
Everything and everyone is perfect at this hotel. You definitely don’t want to miss the opportunity to come to this resort if you have the chance. Villa 130 is amazing you won’t be disappointed the sunsets are gorgeous!
This resort exceeded all of our expectations. From the time we stepped out of the seaplane, we were warmly greeted and welcomed into a beautiful island experience. The staff was highly attentive and helpful. We stayed in a Grand Water Villa that was amazing--truly amazing! It was beautifully appointed and well-cared for by the villa-keeper. We snorkeled right off of our deck and saw lots of colorful species of fish as well as rays. The food at Mandhoo, Rangali Bar (drink presentation was detailed and amazing), Atoll Market (lots of international food choices), Cheese and Wine Bar, and Ithaa was delicious as well as being artfully presented. The spa experience was so enjoyable and relaxing in a truly beautiful setting. We took the Dolphin cruise and also went snorkeling with the sea turtles and both experiences are not to be missed. Great helpful staff--seriously fantastic. The island is so well cared for from sun up to sun down. Staff members are constantly grooming and manicuring the beaches and property--it's pristine! The Hilton Honors happy hour was in a lovely setting and the cocktails/appetizers were very generous. This was the most wonderful vacation ever! Can't wait to go there again!…
Wonderful property, great beaches, wonderful sunrise/sunset and you could go on. We stayed at the water villa as well as the beach villa and there are pros and cons of both. I am glad we got a chance to split our stay. The breakfast had a wide variety of food including exotic fruits and was the highlight of our culinary experience during our stay. The resort itself was on two separate islands and had good availability of transportation (golf carts), although we walked most of the time. Would love to visit and stay again!
Hi. One of the best resort in Maldives. Everything is excellent. All departments know their job very well. Maldives is the ideal country to visit for family holidays as well as all kind of holidays. All world is beautiful by its own beauty in different ways. No country is such amazing in hospitality concerns as Maldives. Because here everyone is related to hospitality. Here people know what hospitality is in real. Thanks to staff and hotel team for their hospitality.
We had a great experience in the Conrad resort this month. Service level was extreem high, beau. All the staff was very helpful. I am sure I will forget people but specially, Ali (housekeeper) and Ali the gardener) where fantastic to us. Also Svea, Rashvan and Joye : you are amazing. Food in all outlets was fantastic as well the service in the restaurants. There is nothing to complain. Definitely something I would recommend.
Everything about my resort experience was absolutely top notch. From the moment you are picked up at Male airport and taken to the sea-plane lounge, to landing at the resort and greeted by the staff - the service is immaculate. You get a personal concierge that will handle every request you want with a simple text. Dinner reservations, spa reservations, extra toothpaste, everything is a text away. My concierge Namiq was a fantastic and friendly host who was always prompt with all my needs! I proposed there - Christie and her team did a fantastic job in making it a memory of a lifetime! Each and every staff member , be it housekeeping, the chef, servers, maintenance staff all had a smile on their face and greeted us warmly every time we crossed them by. The resort have so many dining options that you wouldn't get bored. The food is delicious and every restaurant has their own unique setting and feeling! Sunset Grill and Ufaa are musts and I think Mandhoo is extremely underrated as well. If I had to have any critique, it would be the wine by the glass selection was small. The spa service was top notch, housekeeping was prompt and always serviced the room when we left for breakfast and turndown service always done while at dinner. There is plenty of ocean activities as well. We stayed in the Superior Overwater Villa which was beautiful as well! I would say it is well worth the premium over the Sunset Water Villa as the views from the deck are more expansive and each villa is much more spaced out. The privacy on Rangali Island (smaller island) is a great bonus too!…
Conrad Maldives Rangali Island lived up to its reputation as a world class resort. The two islands that make up the resort are straight out of a postcard. Rangali Island is actually the “quiet” island with most of the water villas that are ideal for couples. The main island Rangalifinolhu is where all of the beach villas are which are more ideal for families. While we were disappointed we couldn’t visit most of the restaurants on the quiet island, we appreciated the separation as we weren’t too concerned about our 14 month year old disturbing anyone’s honeymoon. Even on the main island, it was pretty rare we ran into other guests other than meal times and usually had the beach in front of our room to ourselves. The heat got a little intense for us mid day but there really wasn’t a bad time to take a dip in the ocean and decent snorkeling was always close. The grounds were immaculately kept and in the early mornings, there was a staff every few meters working to keep it that way. While walking around the resort was always pleasant, it was nice to be able to call a buggy for a ride especially in the middle of the day when we had to take the baby somewhere. The service was top notch as we really felt welcomed at the resort. The cleaning staff took care of the room twice a day which was alway great when returning from breakfast and our day time outing. Restaurant staff at the morning buffet really made our stay as it was always a great way to start off the day. They really went out of their way to make our breakfast superb by even taking time to play with our 14 month old son when they had a spare minute or two. With so many friendly staff, they probably should reassign the staff manning the front desk as I thought they were the least friendly and just looked tired most of the time. We stayed in the lowest tier room in the Beach Villa and it was still very spacious. We loved the direct access to the beach and the outdoor bathtub. Sharing a wall with another room was the only negative as sound is not insulated well but luckily our next door room was occupied only on our last night. The only negative of our trip was the delay with our seaplane departure which ended up departing 2 hours later along with a pretty miserable half hour stopover at another resort waddling on a seaplane. We had originally booked a hotel in Male to spend our 5-6 hours before our night flight and ended up wasting the reservation.…
