What an amazing place. We were here for our 13th Wedding Anniversary, and spent 5 night here at the Conrad. My wife read that room 421 was the best, so we worked with the hotel to secure this upgrade. It was AMAZING, like the coolest place in the world. The room was high end, and huge, every amenity you could think of they had, it was like something off of MTV Cribs it was so nice. The staff were super, you get off the seaplane, and they take all your luggage, review options with you for restaurants, and activities to do. Our liason was a man named Naeem and he was so helpful, he got us to try almost everything you could within a 5 day period. It was really nice to have our own pool that had an amazing view of the ocean. you could hop down into the ocean and the snorkeling was wild, reef sharks, rays, big fish, you name it, it was there. We did the Whale Shark snorkel excursion, and that WAS AMAZING, we found 2 whale sharks, a 20 footer and a 12 footer, and we swam with them for a long time. We did the Wine Cellar Dinner with Dwayne(Head Chef at the Conrad) and Sujith (Sommelier) and this was a top 5 dinner of MY LIFE!!! it was amazing, the food, the ambiance, the wine, everything was just so great. Also did the cooking class at UUFA, which was so much fun we cooked dumplings from scratch. Went to IITHA for cocktail hour, and that was really cool to see all the fish swimming around you. We did a few hours in the spa, it was so relaxing and peaceful. We did a photoshoot, because why not!!! It is such a beautiful place might as well have someone take pics of us to commemorate it. Highly recommend coming here, I cannot say enough about how amazing it was.

There is nothing missing here. 2 gorgeous lush islands, soft white sand, amazing snorkeling, friendly and professional staff, plenty of restaurants, breakfast to die for and fantastic villas. We have visited other resorts in tge area, all nice, but will always reurn to Conrad and recommend to my friends.

Absolutely flawless stay and experience at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island. We stayed for 5 nights recently. From the moment we landed at Male airport to the second we departed, we felt truly taken care of. The hotel does an amazing job in coordinating seaplane transfers, and we were met the second we walked out of customs by a Conrad employee, as well as until we went through security upon our departure. After a grueling 24-hour travel day, it felt so nice to be taken care of. From the minute we arrived at the resort, we felt like valued Hilton Honors members. We were treated to an upgrade to a deluxe water villa, which was spectacular, with many welcome amenities. It felt delightfully private and was pure luxury. Our island host, Khaleel, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensured a flawless stay throughout the week. Our room attendant, Ali, was amazing and ensured our villa was comfortable and exceptionally clean, as well as special touches like decorating our bed for our anniversary and preparing a beautiful bath - so intricate and special we didn't want to touch it! All our dining experiences were exceptional: daily breakfasts at Atoll Market and Vilu, dinners at Sunset Grill and Ufaa, as well as multiple in-room dining experiences. The food is delicious, fresh, and wonderfully prepared. We also thoroughly enjoyed the gracious daily happy hour for HH members with lovely daily cocktails, canapes, and exquisite views. The Ithaa Underwater Restaurant is a must - such an extraordinary experience. As for experiences, we were blown away by the diversity and number of experiences that the Conrad offers. From complementary morning stretching, to sunrise yoga, to two fitness facilities, and countless other activities, we felt happily overwhelmed by all the things that we could do (thank you, Manesh!). The on-site diving center is excellent - we went scuba diving twice and on the whaleshark adventure - special thanks to Raby, Jessica, and Filipa for going above and beyond in creating such warm, comfortable, and unique experiences. We would love to return each year to dive/snorkel with them. We were also very grateful for the complementary snorkel gear that the resort loans each guest for their entire stay. We snorkeled all around our villa daily, as well as the house reef, which is incredible (we saw sea turtles, stingrays, sharks, and so much more). The spa is also one-of-a-kind and truly exceptional. One final note: due to an influx of arrivals on our departure day, the resort could not grant us a late check-out. Our island host apologized profusely, but figured out a way for us to stay in our overwater spa treatment villa until we had to depart for our seaplane transfer. These little details and accommodations go a long way, and we were extremely grateful for Khaleel and the spa team's attention in making this happen before we embarked on a long 24-hour travel day. All in all, the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island is incredible. Our stay, from start to finish, was nothing short of spectacular. It is one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed, and we continue to rave about what a flawless experience it was. We are already looking forward to returning next year. Thank you so much to the entire Conrad team for creating such a special experience for us - once-in-a-lifetime, but one that made us want to return every year.

We stayed for a short weekend at Conrad Rangali Island (3 days 2 night) and of course, wishing we had longer time there. Our decision to stay here was based on the reviews on TA as well as being member of the Hilton loyalty program. Everything starts 2 weeks before our arrival where the staff take meticulous care to plan for your arrival. Your arrival and departure flight time are noted and they try their best to arrange the sea plane transfer as close to your arrival and departure flight schedule as possible. Our flight arrived at a very awkward time and we had to spend a night at Male island, which wasn’t such a bad thing as you can see another side of Maldives as suppose to the usual coconut tree and beaches people usually post on social media. The next morning the hotel arranged an early check in and a late check out for us to try and accommodate our flight schedule and maximises our time spent on the island, we really really could not have expressed how grateful we were. It’s worth noting that because this was classified as a special category property, the usually complimentary upgrade with gold/diamond member wasn’t available, however, the option to upgrade with cash was available before check in. Now, the resort itself span across 2 island, and everyone is assigned a host to take care of you. I must say our host Fasy did an amazing job, we exchanged contact details and anything you need whether it might be restaurant/activity booking to buggy transport around the island can be arrange through a simple text anywhere you are on the island (with Wi-Fi/signal of course). Even at late evening or early morning, our host Fasy was able to answer our request expeditiously and made our stay extra special. Because of the short stay, we only managed to book onto the sunset fishing trip, which was highly recommended if you are more immune to sea sickness. We had lots of fun catching different fishes and they will cook the fish you caught to your liking the next day at their restaurant. My other recommendation in staying here is to book the restaurant you want early in advance, as we were not able to book some of the more popular ones on the day. If no bookings are available, the Rangali bar does provide a great walk in dining experience and a very chilled evening vibe with live DJ. Overall it was an amazing experience far exceeding my expectation and thank you to everyone at Conrad who made our weekend getaway so unforgettable. My only slight feedback in regards to areas which can do with minor improvement will be the breakfast area (both Atoll market and Vilu) as both can get quite hot especially when it progresses to the late morning, perhaps more fan to improve air circulation or air conditioning might have made the breakfast dining experience more enjoyable.

The most incredible stay at this superb resort. The staff are the friendliest people I have ever met and made our stay totally unforgettable. Everything you could ever need or wish for is provided at this resort. We stayed in the Grand Water Villa and it was the most stunning accommodation with access to the sea via wooden steps and a jacuzzi on the terrace, not to mention the bath tub that overlooks the ocean. Snorkelling around our villa was a dreamy highlight and the house reef were you can swim with friendly black-tip sharks only a short walk away. There is so much to do on this island, you could never be bored. There is an ocean centre where you can book on to excursions like the Whale Shark tour or Coral Planting. You can even complete your PADI course. There is also a water sports centre where you can try all sorts of motorised and non motorised activities - the jet skiing is a must! Such fun and our guide took us to a spot famous for dolphins - we must have seen 30 different pods! There are 7 restaurants to choose from on the island and a further 3 that are open on selected days for dining experiences. You really are spoilt for choice. It’s worth knowing that a lot of other islands only have roughly two restaurants and they are buffet style. That is not the case at Conrad Rangali and the food is also of the best standard. I’d advise booking ahead to ensure a reservation as they do get booked up. We chose the ultimate Rangali package with the drinks package included and we’re so glad we did - it would be very expensive without that. Everything on the island is imported so naturally, the prices are high. The choice of beverages was amazing - not like any other all-inclusive deal I’ve been on before. The choice of food was incredible with a 3 course meal at every venue and 2 all-you-can-eat breakfast options, one buffet and one from the menu. Ithaa, the underwater restaurant is a must see. It’s expensive to dine there but you can also book a viewing slot instead. Well worth it to see the sharks swimming above your head and all around you. Ufaa, the Chinese restaurant, is delicious! Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. The setting is unbelievably beautiful with tables set out on the beach at sunset. Vilu, an Italian inspired restaurant and also one of the spots for breakfast, is equally as delicious and stunning. Tables are over the water and the views are just extraordinary. Dining experiences like the Koko Grill, Wine Cellar Dinner and Champagne and Lobster BBQ are also available and completely amazing. I would recommend all three for unforgettable foodie experiences. There are two islands as part of the resort with a bridge that divides the two. You can walk pretty much everywhere on the resort, or if you prefer they also have golf buggies that can drive you. Only the main island is child friendly, but we were not bothered by children or noise at all. We were staying on the main island and also travelling during the summer holidays. The other island is smaller and equally as beautiful, with areas like the Quiet Zone where you can go and enjoy lunch and a cocktail in complete peace. At first we were worried about it being a child friendly resort but we needn’t have been. It’s a tranquil paradise. I cannot recommend this resort highly enough. If you’re looking for a Maldivian escape, this is the one. It’s utterly sensational and we cannot wait to return. 5 stars and a huge thank you, Conrad Rangali!

I stayed at Conrad over 10 years ago and absolutely loved it. I was so excited to return all these years later and be reminded why. The staff here are just wonderful. They genuinely make you feel so special. We had many lovely conversations and felt like we were chatting with friends. There’s such a lovely vibe about the place because of the way the staff are. We stayed on the quiet island in the deluxe overwater bungalow - it was perfect. I spent most of the day laying on the private deck in a state of utter relaxation. The room was large and beautifully decorated. Extremely modern with gorgeous Byredo amenities in the bathroom - had to stop myself from stealing them! ;-) What sets Conrad apart is the choice. A lot of resorts only have one or two restaurants and it can feel slightly repetitive. Conrad has such a great selection that you can eat somewhere new everyday. I love having that choice. The food was delicious - we ate in every restaurant. Loved the underwater restaurant and the tasting menu at the Japanese grill was sublime but my favourite was the spa restaurant. They have the most incredible chicken and sage risotto that I can’t stop thinking about even after all this time!! I visited the spa a few times and loved it and the gym facilities on the quiet island were amazing. I was able to keep up my full routine! I loved that the island was quite big and enjoyed walking between the two. The only thing I really missed that you get at other resorts was a bike. I love cycling round the islands on a bike and I was a bit sad we didn’t have one here. It is also quite expensive and you will have a lot of added extras at the end of your stay. I did feel like everything we done was worth it so I wasn’t too concerned. Overall it was a wonderful holiday and I will definitely be back again. Hopefully a bit sooner this time.

We arrived at the hotel on July 31. The seaplane was so hot and cramping. The villa was so pretty and friendly, but mosquitoes were everywhere. I got bitten at least 15 different places on my body. But the worse was both my son and his wife were injured by the nails on the bridge. They both went to the nurse's station. The nurse has to cut off a piece of loose skin that got torn up by the nails. They told them both not to go down to the water for a couple of days. Hummmm, the whole reason we went was because of the beach, and you told me not to swim????????.... I told them that was not fair and ok. We have saved for a long long time to be able to take a trip of a lifetime experience, and now you told us not to go down into the water. I understand things might happen, but to do nothing and just oh, I'm sorry.... Totally unaccepted.

Sensational Immaculately maintained and lush islands. Feels like a true Maldivian experience. Diamond member here. On reading policies it seemed like Diamond gives little extra benefit. But we were wrapped. We booked a sunrise water villa on points, and they (double) upgraded us to a deluxe water villa on the adults only island. Room was beautifully and tastefully Maldivian, with infinity plunge pool into ocean. Seemless private transfer to Conrad lounge at seaplane. We were at the island before 9am. We didn’t depart until 6pm on final day and could use villa until then. Happy hour at Vilu was super way to start evening. Canapés a bit small, but drinks free flowing. All staff and service was excellent. Each pool, beach we visited we were alone, no fighting to get chairs. Activities, we did Whale Sharks and Manta Ray tours, both excellent and their powerful boats past all others when we saw wildlife to be first in. Mantas we were only boat and with 4 pax, amazing to have manga feedjng 1m away for 20 ‘min Restaurants, all super, though Rangali bar was bit disappointing. We loved Ithaa, Sunset Grill and Mandhoo. Vile just good. Bfast, we preferred buffet Atoll over Vilu a La carts, but both good. Wine bit too expensive. Btls starting at $200US. If they had a cheaper option more guests would order. They also have happy hours at several bars thru night for 50% off. Obviously Maldives are expensive. As an indication, if one booked on points, bfast is enough to get thru day (we like many others didn’t eat lunch), dinner budget $100-$120us per head. Day tours around $200 us each. Highly recommended. A travel agent on seaplane said Conrad was her favourite of the 10 resorts she visited including more luxe ones.

Book this 5 night trip using points. Book a beach villa room. It was well worth it. I love it there. The food can be pricey but again you are in an island. Did not get upgraded even with diamond status. The beach is awesome. I stayed on the calm side rather than the coral reef side. I never been so close with the sharks but they assure me that they are well fed. 😂

My wife and I spent a wonderful week at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island. The islands are stunning, with Instagram-able spots everywhere you turn. The staff are friendly and attentive, with some stand out examples, such as Soe and Miru in the restaurant team. I would be head over heels to stay here again. We stayed in a Deluxe Beach Villa with pool, which couldn't have been nicer. Simply appointed, with more space than our entire London apartment. The pool was far bigger than we expected, with private access to an almost deserted beach. The outdoor shower in the courtyard was a delight as well. Every meal we had, and every drink we had, was delicious, but I would strongly recommend pre paying for any drinks and meal packages you can, as costs are extortionate (like anywhere else in Maldives) if paid for locally. There was some confusion about what was included in our meal and drinks packages, so some more clarification on arrival would have been appreciated. Booking meal reservations and water sports excursions as soon as you arrive is a must, or you can email the concierge team in advance, as spaces can be li.ited in some of the restaurants. We had to rearrange 2 of our excursions (Whale Shark Snorkel and Adventure Snorkel) due to inclement weather, so plan these early in your stay to avoid disappointment. We were there at the beginning of August, technically Wet Season, but this did not impede us at all. Overall the weather was awesome, and what little rain and wind there was, was short-lived. Overall, an exceptional hotel with a delightful staff and a dreamy location. Paradise!
