Stepping onto the compound (after trying to find the place), you just know privacy is what you'll be getting. Quickly greeted by the person manning the front counter, you know you're in good hands. At least I did. I arrived later than my partner did but the fact that this frontdesk person knew who I was showed a level of...

It was our second time here at The Village House with the same group of friends. The experience here was great during our first visit in 2014 and that is why we decided to return again last weekend. Unfortunately, we were all very disappointed with the hospitality and services this time round. Would not be able to reveal the name...

Being a local, coming here felt like an 'easy escape.' Not much travelling needed but gives every good feeling a getaway would. Room is clean, tastefully decorated. The place felt very private which is perfect for if you want to 'escape' from people and just have a me time with yourself and your partner. Food is decent but don't expect...

Off the beaten path setting and small size make for a relaxing holiday experience. The staff were helpful and friendly but make sure to take off your shoes before entering the front desk / bar area. I wish they would put up a sign mentioning this. Their breakfast food isn't bad but you definitely have to try their Beef Rendang...it's...

Had a wonderful stay at the Village House. It has all the right ambience for a stay in Sarawak. Ideal for visitors who want to trek Mt Santubong, as they provide a shuttle going to and back from the start of the trail. The breakfast included in your room payment is fantastic and their lunch and dinner menu are just...

After 2 weeks of exploring Borneo this hotel provided the ideal rest and relaxation before flying home. We really enjoyed chilling out in the big recliners and the hammocks. Don't be put off by the initial setting, inside it truly is a gem and the food was the best of our whole holiday. The staff were friendly and the accommodation...

My 2nd visit to this resort since my last year stayed. This time was a bit different experience compared my previous because it's happened to be the yearly Rainforest World Music Festival 2016. It's full house and my 1st experience to stay in a dormitory style. Very clean and just nice with 6 beds in a room. I would categorize...
