We arrived at Cove 55 and we’re blown away by the beauty of the hotel, the scenic views of Mount Santubong and the tranquil sea views. We checked in and were escorted to the ECO style Mangrove Villa, the new villas have been designed to perfection and are spacious. Luggage was transported on a motorized cart. Staff were friendly, helpful and kind and we felt at home straight away. The one bedroom Mangrove villa we stayed, situated in the middle of the mangroves, fits right in the natural environment. The villa is open plan in design with a comfortable King Size Bed with a sofa and comfortable seating around the coffee table in front of a smart TV. There’s an ensuite bathroom with double vanities, bath tub and rain shower. We enjoyed sitting on the outdoor deck whilst enjoying the sights and sounds of the natural surroundings. There’s a fabulous infinity pool, where we enjoyed amazing cocktails in the bar area, Keppel, the cocktail specialist, is the man in the know when it comes to packing a punch at making finger licking, mind boggling, superb cocktails. The food was good, we were at the hotel during Ramadan so choice was limited but the food we had was delicious. James, the new manager is a larger than life character and really has his eye on the ball and I know the hotel is moving fast pace to becoming excellent. It is so great to be traveling internationally again, and what an amazing way to kick off my first international trip in more than two years than a stay in a One Bedroom Ocean Pool Villa. The room was exactly like the pics on their website. I've added a few pics of my own - it is difficult to take a bad picture here. There were so many things I enjoyed about my stay, but here are my top 5. 1 - the bathtub is a perfect soaking tub with incredible views. 2 - the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out in the morning (and the blackout curtains worked so well I could have slept all day). 3 - the pool in my villa was decadent. 4 - the gym was just the right size with incredible views of the ocean. 5 - the feeling of peace and tranquility when you walk around the property - things seem to slow down and people really enjoy their time. Keeping this to a top 5 was tough, so I have one bonus point - the staff! Wow, every want of mine was realized with pleasure. Cove55 is a perfect seaside location not too far from the city, but relaxed enough to feel you are miles away. Accommodation is well appointed with great sea views, an infinity pool, gym & superb deck for sipping sundowners. The food is of the highest quality and the staff are friendly and welcoming at all times. 100% from me!

Mentioned that we will be celebrating our birthday in email and we had a complimentary towel deco and wording "Happy Birthday" on a big leave, definitely heart warming! We got a free room upgrade too for this trip. Staff were friendly and helpful to fulfill all of our requests. Staying for 3 days 2 nights for relaxation is a GO!

When you already have good company, what more could you ask for? A serene location and great food ofcourse! Cove 55 is just the place, the ambience is so astonishing and the food just superb!
