If you’re planning a trip to KK I would recommend staying elsewhere at the moment as you get more for your money. We are staying here three nights and the fab reviews you read about their buffet breakfast isn’t true in this climate. They’re only serving rice (I kid you not!) yet there are quite a few people staying at the hotel however they say numbers are too low for a buffet breakfast. So a plate of rice or piece of toast is the only thing on offer. Rooms, pool, gym, WiFi are good and staff are friendly. It’s a short walk down to the waterfront via a busy main road but there is a side walk. If you aren’t bothered about breakfast then go for it but other hotels are offering their usual service at the price we’re paying to stay here.
We stayed 5 days during the last week of Dec. Could it be a busy season that the service is unsatisfactory. No fresh towel till 8pm on one day. Wifi was very unstable. Bath amenities not replenished. 1/4 box full tissue paper when one box ran out. Bath towel exceeding one per person is charged at RM10 each. Only one size full pillow and the mattress’ spring is uncomfortable. Stained bed sheet. Bed sheet not changed although eco sign was not placed on bed indicating change. Couch has lots of stains. Good 2 rooms apartment with 1 king bed in one room and 1 single bed in a smaller room. Good airconditioning. Easy free parking. Complimentary bottled water 1 per person everyday. Did not try the vegetarian cafe. Although located at the edge of downtown, the traffic and highway made it challenging to walk to town. There is not much around the hotel except a bank. Saw a hotel shuttle van parked at front entrance. We had stayed at this hotel everytime we were in KK due to the good flow of traffic to where we need to go, but likely this is our last stay.…
very poor hotel, poor reception with no seats to wait for grab, gym no aircond, room floor had large cracks with rotting smell coming out, kitchen unusable as no chop board/knife/washing up liquid/pad. Was told to clean pan with face tissue!! We booked this hotel because we had dietary requirements to meet and it was a terrible disappointment Unpalatable breakfast which is all vegetarian. I asked for an egg and was told I have to pay RM2. Room air-cond was so noisy that it had to be turned off. Central air-cond delivers cigarette smoke to the room. The pool water was not clear and I did not attempt to get into it. Everything was so poorly maintained that the only consolation was that we were there fir three nights. The room safe was not always workable. We definitely would not recommend it to anyone.…
Everything is good although it could be better if we hadn't encountered these not-so-pleasant experience: Water was leaking out from the shower area, floor in the bathroom was all wet after everyone took shower, but not a big problem as a towel will solve the problem. The bigger turn-off was the staff's service attitude though it may be an isolated case. We stayed in a deluxe room for a family of four. To begin with, they only gave us 3 towels. We went to the pool and took the towels with us and the towels were all wet after the swim. We went back to the room to take a shower and requested for new towels in exchange. The staff insisted they can only exchange for one towel but not the other two as we're checking out soon. I don't know what's the logic but i didn't want to argue as i'm checking out after shower. But c'mon, it's just towels, and i'm not stealing it...…
Stayed for four nights at start of Sabah trip with two children 12 and 9. We booked due to cost, having a pool and (what we thought was) a good location. However, we found the location was a let down, as there were not really any restaurants or malls nearby. You can walk to some, but is difficult with a lack of pavements, road crossings and a lot of traffic. The hotel does have a restaurant, but we did not eat there in evening due to lack of options. There are a couple convenience stores around the corner for basic snacks. Breakfast was included, but was mixed with more Asian than European options. Cereal, toast and sometimes beans, although was useful it was open from 630am as we had some early starts. The hotel is fairly modern and the room had two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and lounge. We were on the 11th floor with a nice view. Some parts could do with doing up. The kids really enjoyed the roof top pool, which although small was never very busy. It also had a decking area with seats and shade, so could relax whilst keeping an eye on kids. …
