Cheap and nice backpackers lodge. Staff were very accommodating and were helpful with our needs. Location is very close to signal hill, Atkinson clock tower and a few hundred meters away from Jesselton port. They serve light american breakfast, but the lodge has a cafe on the first floor and is close to a few cafes and restaurant in case... More

This is one of the best hostel we've stayed at in Malaysia and we've stayed at many. What we liked most about it is how clean it was. Every day they're cleaning for like the whole afternoon. The hostel is good located. Shopping centres, places to eat, market, sea...everything is really close.

We arrived late due to a delay in our flight, but the owner was ready waiting for us to let us in. She signed us in very quickly and showed us our room. We were given a large dorm right next to the bathroom (with working air con) and then left us on our own. I think we stayed here... More

Very hospitable owner, basic and clean beds with shared toilets. Love the book exchange corner. Breakfast provided every morning but nearby has very good places to eat as well all day long. Safe place and quite a few hipster cafes were around. Just a little noisy when groups of students stay over.

We arrived at around past midnight and travelled straight to the location. Luckily, the taxi drivers know where BB is. We kept ringing the doorbell but there was no one. After some time (and endless pressing of the button) we were let in. Apparently, there was misunderstanding upon the email conversation we had. We should have cleared with them that... More

Stayed for one night and got out as soon as we could in the morning! Huge cockroaches! No bread or things to make breakfast, couldn't work the toaster and when asked staff they were unhelpful and rude! They only positive is the guy on reception gave us some good information about getting a bus.

We only stayed for one night. It's conveniently 30 minutes away from the airport but it depends on the traffic. Walking distance from nearby convenient stores, 10 minutes away from the night market and the Suria Sabah Mall.

Situated just far away enough from Jalan Gayer to be quiet at night but close enough to be a stones through from everything you need! The rooms and dorms are basic, and kept meticulously clean. The communal areas are perfect to meet others travellers and relax away from the crazy wonder that is KK. The restaurant serves a good selection... More
