Hotel location is awesome, walking distance to many local eatery shops and tourist spot. About 20 minutes walk to Jesselton jetty, where most of the snorkelling and scuba diving trip departs from. The room condition and cleanliness is very good. The best is the breakfast. Variety of choice with great quality. The only downside is the WIFI quality, signal is...

Value for money and convenience. We've stayed here for 4 nights. Walking distance to restaurant/bank/cafe (town). Recommended to stay at higher floor as the room looks newer as compare to lower floor.

Stayed at the Dreamtel for 3 nights recently, excellent hotel in convenient location walking distance to waterfront and shopping malls. Superior queen room was spacious & comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities, tv with Fox movies & BBC World news. Good buffet breakfast with selection of fruit, cereals, eggs, breads & Asian dishes. Staff are professional & friendly. Bus stop for...

Rooms are quite decent and clean. Breakfast is decent also if you are not a big eater. Occasionally it can be quite noisy if there is an on going function at the independence field next to the hotel. Beds are comfortable to me

My friend and I stayed here in November for 3 nights. It's a great location to base yourself at. 15min walk to the port where you can take a boat to the islands. But also a good pick up point for various tours. Gaya street is a short walk away. The airport bus is fantastic and very cheap and the...

I did not expect much as I just needed a place to spend overnight. But as I arrived, the reception was fast and kind to upgrade me to deluxe (with window). I was relieved as I must have overlooked my windowless room booking! The room was very comfortable. The housekeeping and room service staff were fast, friendly and pleasant. My...

Located well in the city, close to the town market, malls and city center. Poor wifi, and not so wow breakfast, but friendly staff and OK overall. We arrived close to midnight and were a bit worried that they might not let us check in, but everything was fine.

Stayed here at the start and end of a 12 day tour around Borneo. For the price you pay, this is an excellent option for those on a budget. Located within walking distance of downtown KK. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with A/C. Breakfast was included in our package, and the cooked to order omelettes are great. Free WIFI is...
