This is the first time I comeback to KK after 23 years and I chose Hyatt Regency to stay for 2 nights. At the reception I was attended by Emily, she’s a very nice lady and very courteous. My room is on the 12th floor and the room was facing the sea, just what I needed for this

This hotel is ideally located for any traveller exploring Borneo. The surroundings are poor so you get a false impression of the hotel, but once you access the building, a warm welcome awaits you. The rooms are spacious, although, be mindful, as the hotel is under

First of all, this hotel is all about squeezing money from it’s customer. I checked in and requested breakfast and was charged a walk-in rate (non-guest). I protested and only got a mediocre concession. Not a way to treat a guest! Other than that, this hotel is tired. Rooms are

I had a great stay at the Hyatt Regency. It is located walking distance from the mall (5-10minutes) and the jettelson (10-15 minutes). It has many options to eat in the hotel and also near by. The pool area is very nice and has a pool side bar with seating and a nice view of

Can you go on tours to see orang-utans from here?
Hello! TA prevents the inclusion of links, but I found a tour for you from KK to the sanctuary and back. It's a day-trip. Google this language exactly and you will locate the site: "Early morning, transfer to airport to board a plane for Sandakan (via MH2042/MH3093) to visit the world’s largest Orang Utan Sanctuary. Meet and greet at the airport and drive for about half an hour to Sepilok Orang-Utan Rehabilitation Centre where orphaned and injured Orang-Utan brought to Sepilok to be rehabilitated to return and fend for themselves back to the wild. Sepilok is a primary lowland forest; a fine showcase of Borneo’s remaining rainforest. Witness the 10:00AM feeding of Orang-Utan from a platform in the forest. Watch the 25 minutes scheduled video documentary show. Stop at local restaurant for lunch and at 2:00 PM proceed for a city tour and explore the various landmarks of Sandakan, which may include the Central Market, the most amazing variety of fresh seafood and agricultural products, Sim-Sim Water Village where houses are all built close to the water surface while observing the fascinating view of the sea, visit Puh Jih Syh Buddhist Temple which offers a panoramic view of Sandakan Bay situated on the hilltop of Tanah Merah. After tour, transfer to airport for your evening flight (MH3094 ETD1810hrs) back to Kota Kinabalu. Meal Included: Lunch" You might ask your Hyatt Hotel concierge if they can get you to the airport at KK with shuttle service, and also pick you up. It's a day trip to Sabah. Enjoy!

Can I get items laundered while staying here?
They have laundry service for a fee. But if you are a Hyatt Gold member, you will get two pieces laundry free per day (But need to double check with the hotel if this offer is still valid though)
