Rent a room with one queen bed. The cleanliness is just so so. No soap or whatever. Just as its name says, budget hotel. It means, BUDGET HOTEL. The only goodpoint is, it is situated really really near the Fillipino night market. If youre travelling with families, choose other hotel as it is not very convenient for family vacation. Asked...

Door locked at midnight, but you dial a six figure code on the intercom to reach the duty clerk. I arrived 2 a.m. and had advised the hotel - took eight dialings to wake the clerk. Stayed 2 nights. room not cleaned. No clean towel for 2nd night. Paint on walls on doors and walls chipped and dirty. The correct...

You can't really complain about a hotel/hostel when it's £9 a night. If you do then God help the very soul that resides in your body. Alas, you can't not mention the fact that this place REEKS of rotting fish. Don't believe me? Book a room. Also, needed to ask at reception what the wifi password was, to find the...

Smelly.... The bed sheets are dirty.... The whole hotel is in chaos... Even if it's cheap, I won't recommend. Even if it's close to the Philippine and Handicraft Markets, I won't advice you to come. Even if you are in a tight budget, I will say no.

This hostel is not only unclean and its staff unfriendly, it is not safe! I was unknowingly followed to my room by a man who walked straight past the check-in desk. As soon as I unlocked my door he tried to charge in past me. I threw him out and slammed the door but he remained standing out there calling...

This place is very much in the budget bracket. We are not too fazed by this and our family room was what we expected for 80 ringgit a night. The air con worked and a TV in the room. All good so far. However, on our 3rd and final night here the bedbugs hit us with a vengeance. The kids...

“*at the Budget Hotel, if you want a great view of the sea, get a seaview room at the 3rd floor. Non-seaview rooms are cheaper and quiter though. *at the Hotel: 801 is a corner room with only the stairs and a door beside it, that may be left open/unattended at times. Though the hotel has CCTV monitors, I'd rather not risk it.”
