Premier king room still quite small compare to other hotel's standard room in the city. breakfast was basic. hotel a bit outdated and need better upgrades fast. you can hear and feel the tiles crackling sound when you walk on it. hotel car park 1st come 1st serve and usually full.
average level hotel, some upgrading in works, currently they try the best to provide comfort for traveler. update with the website to see if the maintenance/ upgrading work is complete or still in process for a better comfort. surely disappointing breakfast.
the worst hotel i ever stay, my advice is if you wanna save your money go to hotel next door (tune hotel) or you can topup a bit to stay at grand borneo hotel. parking charged RM15 per entry. anything about this hotel was BAD, breakfast unacceptable. Poor management.
Air con not up to standard in terms of Coldness, toilet door out of order, exhaust fan inside the toilet not functioning, Safety box not functioning, lighting inside the room is out of the question, too dim, not suitable for guest who is on a job trip or family. No Wifi in the room, being informed can only be use in the lobby which is clearly unacceptable. Tv Channel reception also not watchable. Clearly the In charge person did not do his or her job. How can it release to be sold since there is so much problems in the room. Front Office staff lack of customer service knowledge. Zero for attentiveness, Zero for sense of welcome. Check in time is 2pm and above, as mentioned by the management and also the Front desk, but room not ready by 3pm. Thumbs up for Porter, F & B , and House keeping staff, these people are way better of serving their room guest than the front desk.…
No lock at the bathroom door. Shower doesn't have a place to put shampoo and shower gel. Dirty cups. Front desk experience was the worst and the hall way was creepy. No wifi in room.i hope the management will improve in the future.
It's not a place for those who wish to enjoy a modern minimalist ambience. Just by management statement of apology of inconvenient room atmosphere to upgrade appliances or details. But we didn't experience something boring or bad things. Air con worked normal. Mouintain view was terrific. Hot water was available. Clean & fairly fresh. Housekeeping officer also cleaned up and replaced used things new. Hotel backyard corridor access is fantastic connecting to mall. Culinary spots are numerous. There were only 2 questions to management : wifi connection could only be accessed in lobby, and tv channel was added in Friday night while we stayed since Monday before. Two
Room 210, (Sep 01 - 02, 2018) - Courtyard Hotel, 1 Borneo. * The hotel location is about 10KM +++ from the main city of Kota Kinabalu. * The hotel location is about 14KM +++ from Kota Kinabalu International Airpor (KKIA). * MYR12.00 +++ by grab car from Kota Kinabalu at normal hour, and MYR19.00 +++ by grab car at lately night or early morning. * From the outside, the hotel looks its nice and modern. Sadly from the inside, the hotels conditions its look obsolete. Especially you can see at the guest floor. * The room I stay is have window but no view. It's same thing no window. Should be put at the booking page if the room is no window. At least we know that room conditions. * You have to prepare amount MYR50.00 for deposits, even you have pay with debit card. Should be put at booking page then easy for us to prepare the deposit amount before we arrive. * The Lobby condition its hot. * The room size its limited space. * The bathroom wall and floor is moldy. * Some of the lighting switch is not function. * Limited TV channels. * Difficulty to find the parking. * The safety box can't be use. * No mini fridge. * No face towels. * No bathrobes * Water pressure low. * Only 3 pcs hangers is provided. * Limited socket. => The 1 Borneo mall is dying, so as the hotel. => Doesn't look like a well manage hotel, more like a haunted hotel. Fungus and paint peeling can be easily seen inside and outside of room. => Poor phone network. Only manage to get some signal near the window, not on bed or bathroom. => Poor TV signals. => Fake window in my room. => Only their breakfast is acceptable.
The staff was extremely welcoming us,they were very happy to assist us in any way they could.Our room on the 3rd floor offered mountain views! The room was quiet and comfortable. Restaurant at 6th floor was very nice and good quality food. The staff were very helpful in explaining the menu and suggesting different bits to try. Overall, we enjoy happy and comfortable stay with extremely attentive staff. Big thanks to Safwan for handling our car, Fillarica assist our check out super fast, Audrey handling our booking & suggested us lots of great place to go in Kota Kinabalu. It was a first class customer service. Me, my husband & baby will most definitely be returning!
GOOD LOCATION AS ATTACHED WITH 1B MEGAMALL Room: Book a Suite room. Room is large but however the ligthing is not enough. Powerpoint less than can be see. room is dark at night..I think the hotel want the guest to have a romantic room. One thing.. no WIFI available inside my room. Minibar: Coffee/tea for the room with mineral water provided.. Bathroom - Bathroom was large and clean. Bath and shower gel available. Water pressure not so good and the drainage so slow. Location: Located 1B Megamall. If you are from airport, it takes 20-30 minutes n early morning ride.. however it might take 1hour to 2hour if there is a slow traffic Service - Check-in was fast. Only the receptionist really need to train for their customer service communication. Value: Affordable booking via Agoda. F&B: Halal-certified dining at the hotel.…
